Come out come out whoever you are |
“Now that’s no way to talk,” chuckled Emil as the grace of the midday sun shined down onto his head. For most that sauntered by, it would appear as if some young punk was sitting on a park bench talking to himself. To those that were spiritually aware they would see a young boy sitting next to him in tattered clothing and a face that appeared as if it had been playing in the dirt for an extensive amount of time. The two appeared as if they didn’t belong in the grand and elegant scenery of what seemed to be an upscale park. That was what little the two had in common but that non-belonging was all that they really needed.
It was odd to be talking to a boy that Emil knew fully well had been murdered and died a death before it was his time to go. The Quincy was capable of doing little else however as his people were granted the ability to send wholes to the other side and into soul society. Leaving the boy didn’t seem appealing either considering that if the places had been switched the blond would have wanted for any that could see him to stop and talk to him. Emil was doing the boy a favor, or at least that was what he was telling himself. The truth of the matter was that he was enjoying the company of the child more than the child was enjoying his. In the recent days the blond male had found himself wandering aimlessly through his life, not because he was lost but because he had gone astray.
At that moment, he wanted nothing more than to cast away the world for the day and ignore the happenings of his life and focus on merely enjoying that day. Such was far easier said than done but when Emil had seen the little boy originally weeping in the lush scenery all alone it had been easy to distract himself. Now with the child smiling and seeming somewhat comforted, it was likely only a matter of time until his soul passed of its own accord and left the Quincy there all alone.
How twisted, the Gemishct actually found himself hoping the boy wouldn’t find peace for a little while longer.
