VATICAN; HALL OF THE SUN
ACHT HEILIGE STÜHLE CHAMBER
It wasn't the first time Ville had been before the council of eight. Naturally, such duties came with the position of Knight-Commander. She wasn't the only officer among the Vatican's knights, but she was one who had been given a task of utmost importance.
The chasing of the notorious criminal, Wolfgang, was an affair every chair of this council regarded as a goal of high interest. Or so, she figured. Explaining the failure of her mission to the ruling body of the loyal Quincy race was a task she would exchange for doing more battle with Barogue gladly, even though he was a thug and a pig with a mouth that continously spat filthly words. However, she wasn't one to back down from challenges. And the failure of this mission, she would carry without complaint, for who would she blame if not herself?
The fact that Wolfgang was still free could be attributed to the intervention of some of the Shinigami, but in the very end, she should've bene efficient enough to finish the job and him, no matter the obstacles... Barogue.
He'd killed The Green, and one day, she would return the favour. First him, then Wolfgang. And every other Starknight that regarded themselves foolish enough to be standing in the way of her mission.
Her heels knocked on the marble floors whenever she stepped over carpetless spots, filling the halls with the echo of her approach. She wasted no time and presented herself before the Richters in polished attire, frame dressed to perfection, even though she had barely escaped the burning city of New York.
"Your excellencies, I come before you to report of my quest. Wolfgang has escaped the fangs of my operation. Braavo, The Green, managed to strike through his defenses and poisoned him. However, he and his fellow rebel knights got away in the confusion that followed the intervention of Shinigami and Arrancar, multiple signatures superior to standard Captain-class reiatsu.
I cannot tell you if the poison has managed to bring the traitor knight down."
Assumptions had never been her fancy, and if there was one thing she'd have to hand to the Starknights, it was the way of the stubbornness. However.
She was more stubborn than filthy rebel scum.
