JUUICHIBANTAI BARRACKS WHERE THERE IS DRINK
Heiji walked into the area that was occupied by barrels, the divisions sake stash. Some were empty. Some were filled. Of all those filled, only some had still their original content of sake. The liquid had been used up by the members of the division. Some of the barrels were occupied by sleeping Shinigami or those who'd been knocked out in a bar fight of smaller or bigger scale.
"Taichou," Heiji called out, voice firm but calm. He parted the waves of this sea of drunkness on the look-out for his commanding officer. He'd probably find her sitting next to or on top of the biggest barrel. But unlikely was she sitting in one. She had standing power, after all.
Even though she was likely to think he'd come to reprimand her for drinking the day away with some division members, he had not come to deliver vocal judgement. Ducking whatever she blindly she threw at him -- or perhaps it was someone else -- he spoke ...
"I've got some news for you. It is God's Will to lend you a favour, so that one day you might return it. If you agree with the honour of your word, I'll inform you of his predictions. The man who blinded you, I can tell you where he was spotted."
Why was he even going to tell her? She'd been in a slump ever since the loss of her eyes and the lack of challenges. God was merciful. And would provide the demon with a foe that was worthy of her.
Oh man, what time was it? Lost in a swirl of drunkenness that made her lose all sense of time and place, Kenpachi sipped more alcohol. She had one of the best records in the division for holding her own when it came to liquor. Far from lightweight, she had long ago shed the preconceived notion that women could not stand among men when it came to drinking. As the other Juichibantai members slumbered in barrels, this image would only prove as such.
With her back against the wall, Kenpachi sat upon a tall and wide barrel with her knee drawn halfway to her chest. She rested one arm lazily over the propped up knee and held a drink in the other. At this point in time, she functioned in every day settings without any sign of being affected by her loss of vision. No, the only time the ailment proved worrisome now was in battle -- a feat she was currently working on.
The sound of Hattori's voice made her groan. He always found her, man. And now she was going to have to sit through an hour-long monologue about how her actions would be consequential. She slumped against the wall even further and dropped her hand to let it dangle by the barrel. "Fuuucckk me," she droned.
She was only half-listening when he spoke. The cloud of drunkenness that shrouded her being was like a plague spreading across her. When her Fukutaichou uttered his little bit of information finally, she stirred. Sobriety seized her, and she dropped her drink to the floor. These days, there wasn't really anything that drove her other than the thought of finding that Quincy and seeing if he was really tough shit or if he relied on pathetic magic tricks to dupe stronger opponents. Plus, she wanted to deal him a little payback, too.
An eye for an eye.
"We're leaving immediately, Hattori." She slid down from the barrel and walked past him. She collected the saliva in her mouth and spit the remaining taste of alcohol to the side. "Does Hinaai know of this?" she inquired as she walked. She was sure the Captain Commander would have a few things to say about her ditching her division and Shinigami allies to go get in a fight with some Quincy in the human world.

JUUICHIBANTAI BARRACKS ON THE MOVE
Falling in line next to the woman, Heiji began walking by her side. How strange that she just began heading toward the exit, even though she had no idea where to go after she'd reached the door to the world of the living. What a dog.
"The Captain-Commander does know, I suppose. But she doesn't know that you know," he informed, looking over his shoulder at the sight of some other members of their division attacking Kenpachi's barrel now that she was in the process of leaving the site.
"I listened in on communication between the Shinigami stationed in the living world and the division handling the affairs there," he admitted, not that she'd give a shit from where he'd gotten the information.
It wasn't a stretch to say that God did hear everything. At least every message that relied on one form of relay station passing by Heiji would get caught by Raijin's thunder ring and be transformed in actual voices inside of Heiji's head. In a way, God was always taking to him.
"His reiatsu signature was spotted in the Vatican, where the Quincy's Holy Council resides. This was a few hours ago. He might still be in the area. Apparently there was a fight.."
He didn't give Hinai any more thought than he had to. It was unlikely that the Kenpachi cared about being allowed to go. Their only problem would be the opening of a Senkaimon without being noticed or stopped.
Oh man, Kenpachi was pumped. This was the best news she had heard in a long time. Her drunken stupor now long gone, she was filled with an absolute blood lust that resonated and circulated within her. The wide, animalistic smile on her face gave way to her barbaric nature. She was a fiend that couldn't be satiated even with death. As she walked alongside Hattori, she didn't give a shit about not knowing how to get there. She just wanted to get their fast. "So we're just going to threaten them to open up the Senkaimon. If they won't do it, we'll cut their dicks off."
It was the Kidoshu who regulated passage through the senkaimon, and Kenpachi didn't particularly like dealing with their bitch asses. Especially since she had beef with their Commander. After all, he was the reason why the Quincy who blew up her eyes got away in the first place. As she walked, her thoughts returned to that battle. Wolfgang probably wasn't worth the chase. After all, Kenpachi had had twenty percent of her power limited by the seal placed on her in the human realm. And she also still kept a massive amount of her pressure bottled inside. The Quincy had magic, and that was about it. But she could hope, couldn't she? She could hope that he would prove to be a formidable fighter. And...
Kenpachi was already losing faith, so she distracted her thoughts back to the present. "Or maybe we'll just kill them in the first place. I doubt anyone would miss the fuckers."

SEIREITEI THOUGH SENKAIMON HOOD
Kenpachi and consorts - currently only consisting of Hattori Heiji, her trusted fukutaichou -- arrived at the building that housed the kidoshu members. Their seal was big and fat on the doors, as though it mattered what they had to say. In the end, they were only gatekeepers. And if they were to attempt holding Jingu in, it wouldn't work in favour of their spiritual selves.
"Let's not, taichou," Heiji conciled her ambitions, thinking that cutting off anyone's sexual organs would only result in them not getting the portal to the human world. Instead, they'd be hunted down by the rest of the Gotei 13 -- something that Kenpachi would probably enjoy. But he wouldn't. It wasn't in the interest of God.
"I'll take care of it," Heiji decided, a Flash Step carrying him ahead of her. While she remained a handful of yards behind, he invaded the building and slid the doors aside. Since her eyes had been taken, Kenpachi wouldn't be able to witness the explosion of light and thunder from within the Senkaimon operation building. It had been less violent than it had been ... enlightening.
The flash subsiding, Heiji waited for her to catch up. Standing by the side of the open portal, the kidoshu members no-where to be seen, the fukutaichou would guide the Kenpachi toward the bright light in the middle of the room, fashioned like sliding doors toward a bridge of pure energy, by calling her over.
One step into the world of light and another, and they'd be taken from retained sexual organs to the sight of a nightly Rome, the Senkaimon spitting them out above the capital of the human country, Italy.
