Saipuresusēji
(Cypress Sage)
"We recoil and watch in the cold night, let them howl and let them strike. We observe while we are withdrawn, and await the coming dawn.We reside in the mouths of the beasts.Hide beneath their tongues cradled by their teeth. We stretch out from shore to shore,From the boundless sky to the ocean floor. The more we grow we are less of ourselves,Finally stopping we know we are something else."
Saipuresusēji is the collaborative representation of the forest. His body is composed of Foliage that grows together and moves as a hive mind. His mind is tranquil as the forest and his demeanor is naturally calm, but the wildlife in him has shown a more emotional side prone to territorial attitudes, ferocity, and even tender gentleness. It is Saipuresusēji's presence that enable Kazuo to keep a cool head, relaxed demeanor, and patience in dangerous situations.
Sealed: Saipuresusēji is in fact a set of swords that go together. A Katana and a Wakizashi, which in standard terms can be viewed as having a long sword and short sword. The two swords having matching grips of cloth woven in a spiraling fashion in the patter of green and brown. They are traditionally hung side by side on Kazuos left hip.
Release: Supairaruauto (Spiral Out!)
Shikai: Saipuresusēji converts to what is commonly mistaken as a weaker form, still being a katana and a wakizashi but now made of wood as common practice swords. The grips and guard still remain metal however and the wooden swords themselves remain as sturdy as metal but lack the cutting edge of their own.
Ryōdo (Territory): This ability resides in the wakizashi blade. Stabbing the shorter blade into any matter, whether real and material such as the earth, or walls composed of reiatsu in Hueco Mundo or Seireitei. A seed is left behind composed of reiatsu that grows. The vines and roots of the plant grow out and begin to ensnare the object before spreading out leaves. The plant continues to grow and expand absorbing excess reiatsu from combat spells and abilities in the area as well as a lesser amount of reaitsu generated from life in the area. The plant continues to grow and expand across the material and outward like a virus infecting a host. The larger it grows the greater the reiatsu it harnesses to power the remaining three abilities! Additionally the material which is infected must be wholly destroyed to stop this process. Deep roots ensure that anything less than obliteration will only be a setback as the plants regrow.
Note: The plants use a conversion similar to that of photosynthesis allowing them to absorb any external reaitsu and convert it into the users own reaitsu.
Hareyakana Sakebi (Radiant Outcry): The final ability residing in the wakizashi blade. The wakizashi sword is the receptor for reiatsu from Ryōdo ability and even transmits it to the other sword for it's abilities. But firstly, once five of the plants have begun to manifest and bloom the wakizashi has enough power to cancel the effect on the katana in order to absorb the reiatsu for itself and emit a small radiant and blinding missile which explodes on contact with concussive repelling force based on the number of total plants over the minimum required Kazuo has planted.
Kemono no hone (Bones of the Beast): This ability resides in the katana. Harvesting the reaitsu from the Ryōdo, enhances the defensive attributes of the katana granting it a much harder to break substance that that of wood. In addition once two Ryōdo of been planted sharp branches and roots may suddenly spring out of the blade to stab or alternatively bind victims. Once more of the Ryōdo have been planted Kazuo can effectively cause so many branches that the blade resembles a massive fan of limbs with impressive defensive attributes like a shield made stronger the denser the branches grow.
Seizon-sha no ejji (Survivors Edge): This is the final ability residing in the katana. Harvesting reaitsu from the Ryōdo plants, the wooden katana fills with an intense glow of reaitsu. The reiatsu is tampered to vibrate and hum with the sound of life as energy is bound within the edge. This requires two plants for initial activation but the frequency of the vibration and thus the sharpness and cutting edge of the sword becomes sharper and more deadly.
Saipuresusēji's World: A dark forest with faint light mingling through the trees above. All is still and calm, silent and unmoving, but one can feel so much activity it can be unnerving. If you venture or stay long enough you may see the occasional animals at play or river babbling but there will still be no sound. Even the branches sway with a wind you can neither feel nor hear. It is because this is the domain of nature, not man or spirit or hollow, and these things you've taken for granted are not yours here.
