""inexperienced, but not expedient"
MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS | It was this dream again. The pitch-black area, only illuminated by some figures, bathing in light, even though some of those beings somehow still managed to remain shadowed. Mina could not tell why, of course, as she still found herself largely unable to move. Actually, no, that was not right. Moving was simply painful, as if every muscle in her body was cramped, along with countless bruises and small cuts. When she tried to get up only to kind of fail that, wincing due to the sudden occurrence of pain, one of the people around her began to chuckle. Ambiguously colored eyes wandered to her left, where she found that woman, Ville, standing all high and mighty, chuckling, looking down on her. Of course she did. Seeing her caused her most recent memory to return vividly in front of her eyes. Literally, since what appeared to be a screen with ill-defined borders to appear in front of her, showing scenes of that little’ fight’ she’d had with the elder Quincy. Then another one appeared, first on her right, then on her left, until they all surrounded her in a dome like structure. Each of those screens was set at a different time, showing something else, from angles that Mina had never seen like this. But dreams cared little about things like logic, and they did not need to make up much, as all this information largely overwhelmed the girl, who could barely follow the action on any screen like this. And then, all of the sudden, they sped up, all of them. Some slower than others, of course, as they synched with each other, most falling into a blur of motions, until they were all set at that faithful second, when the other woman had decided to attack. Then, a freeze, a caption of that moment appeared, showing it from a myriad of angles – only to then fully revert to something entirely different. The perspective collapsed onto itself, turning the young Greek Quincy herself into the pivotal point, as the screens simply showed Ville’s dome. And then, an apparition of herself showed up, to be cut, thrown into the dome and around – a visual that clearly caused Minerva to flinch. Then the dome and everything else vanished fully, but something new appeared – the same hot pain she had felt before, in her face, where that woman had cut her. Still in her half-sitting position, Mina raised her hand to touch that spot, causing every new pain on the ill-healed wound. In fact, it had not healed at all yet, was still bleeding. Bringing her hand down again, the young woman could not help herself but stare at it for a little. “What, can’t you stand the sight of your own blood?”, shadow-Ville taunted from over there, although she did not move one bit. Mina proceeded to glare at this person, but she was only awarded a bright smirk for that, as this person clearly enjoyed this situation. Of course she did. |
