Ryusuke's Build

Hoho Master; The technique known as Shunpo (Flash Step) is an art of mobilization that Ryusuke has come to master, along with simple physical body acrobatics, finding it one of his strongest traits as a Taichou, capable of moving vast distances within the blinking intervals of the human eye. From moving to report vital information, to dodging fatal attacks, his prowess in this art trumps all others he has come to master.

Zanjutsu Master; Finding himself to be a natural with his Zanpakuto, Ryusuke is even a master of fighting with two swords, something that has taken plenty of recent practice and devotion to accomplish. Regardless, with his prowess in Hoho, the footwork and swordplay behind his attacks is some of the best Seireitei has to offer.

Perception Expert; Born with an Attention Defecit Hypertension Disorder (ADHD), Ryusuke is constantly taking in all the information around him, there isn't much Ryusuke isn't interested in that is moving or glinting in the light around him. With all of his bodies senses working in-tune with each other, along with his capable to sense spiritual signatures, there isn't much getting away from his overall awareness.


Spiritual Control Expert; Ryusuke, while very comfortable with sensing Reiatsu signatures and suppressing his own, has still yet to come to a full understanding of how to utilize his Reiatsu, as a weapon, or otherwise. Still particularly fascinated with his capabilities, it is likely his prowess will only flourish.

Mariana's Trench; As for the name of the technique, which is said to be the deepest part of the ocean in the human realm, Ryusuke's Reiatsu being exerted is rather accurately depicted as said climate. Abundant, cold, and even dense enough to seem like it was darkening the vision of the victim, it may feel as though they were fighting/moving underwater, and even breathing in the Reiatsu as if it were liquid, causing them to feel asphyxiated. This reduces the opponent's movement speed drastically (by half) if their Reiatsu does not overwhelm his own, and causes them to feel as though they are being asphyxiated. Along with this, they feel as though chills have overtaken their body.


Kido Practitioner; Even though it is something he has been working on for a very long time since entering the Shinigami Academy, Ryusuke has come a long way with what time he has spent under ridicule as a young, inexperienced Taichou. He has sought to make a name for himself by being efficient in all trades and arts of combat, being the reason why he is still quite fond of the demon arts.


Hakuda Practitioner; Using his entire body as a weapon has been a strong concept instilled into him from his father at the very beginning. He is trained primarily in striking with every blunt part of his body, along with knowing quintessential arm and body locks for submission. Also, his sleek muscular frame makes for an agile yet lethal adversary when forced to fight bare knuckle. However, due to the amount of training and focus it takes for many to obtain their Zanpakuto's true power, many like Ryusuke haven't quite found the time to focus on this aspect quite as much as the others.

ZANPAKUTO

Zanpakuto Name:
Sukū o Shutsugen (Haunting Apparition)

Zanpakuto Form:
A single traditional styled katana, with the tsuka wrapped in a similar blue to the sheath (as seen in the profile picture, decorated with a circular golden tsuba with a dragon carved into it. The blade is no more than 3'3" long at most, with a handle just over a foot long.

Zanpakuto Spirit Form:
Humanoid Shutsugen, however he is also seen as a black wispy dragon, or ghost dragon. When in said form, he is capable of breathing cold Reiatsu with freezing capabilities on par with his Shikai/Bankai.


Shikai:

Shikai Release Phrase:
“Strip them of remorse, Sukū o Shutsugen.”

Shikai Form:
When released, Ryusuke's Zanpakuto splits in two, becoming a much darker, seemingly tainted fragment of what it once was. Two completely black Gou swords (Hook swords) are gripped in his hands, ripping them out from the single Zanpakuto's handle upon the release phrase.




Name: Shinda Samui (Dead Cold)
range: Melee/Self
Description:

[/b] Stacking this technique only works on the area already struck, and thus can not work towards freezing another area of their body. A single strike to the brain, heart, or lungs may kill an opponent. This technique takes two (2) strikes to completely freeze a target's appendages (feet/hands/forearms/shinsthigh), however one strike leaves it frostbitten and near completely numb. In order to freeze over the target's torso, three strikes would need to be placed upon it's general area. When beginning the process of freezing over, or being completely frozen, the target's body takes a darker, cobalt-grey hue signifying their body has gone well into/past the point of frostbite. Other objects capable of being frozen, such as masses of water, can be frozen by this technique. When an area is partially frozen, it reduces mobility of that area by nearly half. This freezing effect wears off on it's own after four (4) IC posts from the victim, or when the Shikai is deactivated.[/ul]

[/b]", although NOT carrying the additional freezing capability of said technique. These are under his control, positioning and attacking as he too simultaneously took action. Capable of using Shunpo and his Shikai techniques only as good as Ryusuke himself can, these apparitions are extinguished by a mere punch or poke to their body. However, the swords can not be hit to do so, phasing through attacks and armor when necessary. Regardless, once their body is hit they disintegrate nigh instantaneously. Only a maximum of up to two (2) apparitions can be summoned at a time, one representing his deceased father, and the other his Zanpakuto spirit.[/ul]

[/b] A single strike to the brain, heart, or lungs may kill an opponent. A single strike to an appendage, or limb can freeze it completely solid. The freezing effects of this technique last until the Bankai is deactivated.[/ul]


Name: Kyū Otoko no Yūjin (An Old Man's Friend)

Description:

[/b]" technique of his Shikai, this Bankai ability has a more efficient, qualitative approach. Only a single apparition can be spawned, wielding this time a solid replica of Ryusuke's Bankai Zanpakuto. They are just as resilient when it comes to damage, having no literal bloodstream, simply the Reiatsu bonding together to forge his creation. This is to further instill the concept that Ryusuke should never be fighting alone. This apparition's physical build and voice are Ryusuke's memories and interpretations of the since deceased friend.

Note: This apparition can move as fast as Ryusuke, even capable of utilizing Shunpo just as fast, and his Bankai techniques just as well as him. While able to survive a moderate stab or broken arm easily, decapitation and other killing blows of such severity would diminish the apparition quite suddenly. Although it appears transparent, this apparition is very much solid, and can hold things down just as well as Ryusuke himself could.[/ul]

This results in strikes that can nearly, or completely freeze the object struck. Because of this lurking Reiatsu, someone other than Ryusuke wielding the Zanpakuto (even by the handle) in this state would suffer from the freezing capabilities. Obviously, because it is his Reiatsu, it does not affect him, or the apparition(s) holding them.

This reduces the amount of strikes needed for "[b]Shinda Samui (Dead Cold)[/b]" by one (1).[/ul]

Shunpo may be utilized while this technique is in-use, but the user can not hurt the opponent while this ethereal state is active. From water in the human realm, to a Quincy's arrows, he is simply unable to be touched, as if he were a ghost. Also, both of his Zanpakuto are forced into this ethereal state, however are NOT capable of producing any damage, even with the "[b]Shi no Samu Sawaru (Death's Cold Grasp)[/b]".[/ul][/div]
