WE ARE AN AU NON-CANON BLEACH ROLE PLAY, and no, we won't die in a month. Our creators are very dedicated to this project and are here to provide you with an easy-flowing, member-driven plot system. “Yare yare,” Taku said, with a smile slinking ear to ear. “I thought the rokubantai shinigami were stronger than this, but is this really all the division has to offer?”

With a slash of his sword through the air, he tossed what little blood remained on it to the wooden floorboards. He was surrounded by the groaning bodies of half a dozen shinigami, each one covered in bruises and shallow cuts. Originally he had come here to spar a couple, but when they got belligerent he felt the need to let loose. They didn’t like that.

You went too far, Taku-kun, Nagerumaru chimed in. The silken voice of his zanpakutou spirit caused Taku’s smile to dim ever so slightly.

“Yeah yeah, well they were the ones who decided to get all uppity. I just wanted to practice.”

That was when the dojo’s door slid open and four more shinigami jumped in. Instead of drawing their swords, or even making threats, they lined up on the right side of the entrance.

“Oh-ho,” Taku said, pointing the tip of his blade at the shinigami. “So a new challenger appears then, eh?”

Tch. The commotion that was going on through my division's barracks was annoying, to say the least. I heard everything, from the issue of a challenge that came from what appeared to be another shinigami, to my own men accepting and falling beneath the apparent strength behind the intruder. It was disappointing, really - they were lucky my Captain wasn't here, for he would have killed them himself had he seen, or rather heard, how they were disgracing our division.

It was only upon hearing the man's arrogance in his abilities rising that I decided to my make presence known. I was above using my skills in fighting in these pointless battles, especially if I had to stain Inazumakami with the blood of opponents that weren't worth it. It was a lose-lose situation for me - either enter before my division's name was tainted, or let this man, whomever he was, teach my men a valuable lesson.

Of course, I chose the former.

"You should really pick on people your own size." I cooed, stepping forth through the entrance. The light sound of my sandals stepping onto the floor was all that was heard before my voice, and though I remained cladded for battle - down to my regular Shikigami attire - my countenance remained blank, devoid of any real excitement or anticipation for what was about to go down. "But I guess I'll make you offer. Save me the trouble of having to cut you down and leave, I hate these kinds of battle."

Taku’s eyebrows perked when the challenger revealed who he was. “Yume-Fukutaichou. What a pleasant surprise this is.” From Oda’s tone of voice, it wasn’t so pleasant for him, however.

With the flourish of a bravo, Taku flipped his zanpakutou into a reverse grip and gave a deep, though somewhat mocking bow. Yume Oda was a man who demanded respect, though the violence he suggested perhaps a bit too far.

“I’m only here for some sparring, Fukutaichou,” Taku nonchalantly stated as he raised. “Cutting me down is a bit too much, no? But if you’d like to cross blades, and the only way for me to get such a high-quality opponent is to stay here, then…”

Again the katana was flipped, and Taku rose Nagerumaru before him horizontally. “I’m going to stay in this spot and fight whoever enters this room. There’s five of you still standing. I request you draw, Yume-Fukutaichou.”

In all fairness, it wasn't so much as Oda underestimating the youth as it was that he simply did not want to fight. Sparring, in his twisted opinion, was pointless; why battle if you're only going to half-ass it? If you had to hold yourself back from throwing killing blows, then, in his opinion, you were doing a disservice to your abilities as a shinigami. Besides, there were far better ways to flex than just sparring.

But, needless to say, if that was what this man truly wanted, who was Oda to not obliged?

"I guess it can't be helped. Clear out the room, I want to fight him alone." He instructed his fellow kin before placing his hand on the tip of Inazumakami. In response she sent a shock of electricity flowing into his finger tips, almost as if to warn him not to get cocky. Pulling the blade from his sheath, he pointed it at Taku - much like he was doing to Oda - as if to gesture "your move."
