"Holiday"

The word meant "a time for leisure and recreation". For Saegusa Kotone, however, it meant "a time for training". After all, "holiday" came from "hāligdæg", or "holy day", which became the time Kotone would stop working for money and go to work on the "holy" arts of the Quincy.

And often, training in these arts meant she had to go out into nature, for it is where naturally flowing reishi is more abundant. If she had a choice, Kotone would rather stay in an urban environment, but there would be a much greater risk of discovery.

To leave her hotel and to get all the way here either required a vehicle or a pair of amazing legs, but to the Quincy there was a third method: Hirenkyaku. Of course, Kotone would leave dressed for the weather: A thick overcoat, boots, gloves and a cap, all in a navy blue color. Without hesitation, she set off, riding the reishi at high speeds.

Searching left and right at high speeds, Kotone finally came to a rest at a place she felt suitable: A wide, open area full of nature and almost a "free flow" of reishi. Everything was in place.

Except one: She was not alone.

Not long after she arrived, another presence demanded she make herself known. So much for being secretive.

"Yes?" she answered quizzically, popping out from behind a rather large rock, seeking the source of the masculine voice.

Something about his speech caught her off-guard, but she would let him finish his speech before introducing herself.

"Hello, you can call me Saegusa Kotone. And no, I'm not here to fight either, though..."

Kotone checked herself over. Her spiritual pressure had been unsuppressed ever since she left the hotel (as she planned to train), so any picture he took would have her distorted on it. If the picture existed. Even then, the fact he had managed to take a picture with her nearby without her aversion triggering was astounding.

"A picture, you say? That's pretty impressive to me. Can I see?" She inquired, eyeing his camera carefully as she took a single step towards him.

Kotone watched intently as the man operated the machine she knew so well and hated so much for one reason or another. She wasn't sure when it really started, but it's something she lives with and doesn't really care about solving.

Only to have the man reply with ambiguity. Inspecting the picture he showed her, she herself could not identify the photo's contents. Apparently he was dumbfounded, and, since Kotone knew nothing of photography, she was dumbfounded too.

"Well yeah, I'm a Quincy" she confirmed his suspicions. "I kind of come out of the city once in a while to train. You can't really do that in a crowded city unless you like drawing unneccessary attention to yourself." Kotone stated, making her (previous) intentions clear.

"So, uh, I don't think you're here for the same purpose. Are you a photographer or something?" Kotone inquired curiously.
