Yoshiro had managed to stand against the torrents of spiritual energy released by the arrancar as well as his fellow taichou. Weathering the storm wasn't easy by any means, though as accustomed to battle as the elder taichou had been, he appeared to be otherwise unaffected. What plagued him more than physical strain was the realization that his wife wasn't anywhere near the battle. A double edge sword had been thrust through him. On one hand, his wife wouldn't be harmed in the chaos, but he still hadn't a clue to her whereabouts. It wasn't enough to ease his troubled mind, however he returned it allowed him to focus more heavily on his surroundings.
The quincy had been defeated, struck down in a flash with the use of bankai. Yoshiro could only shake his head, disagreeing with the use of full force without a more sound reason. Clearly the quincy could have been readily handled with at most shikai, but a full release of bankai was uncalled for. Not only that, but the damage caused wasn't noticeable by the naked eye. The arrancar who appeared wanted the quincy, and to take the prey of an animal never ended well. As expected, the animal turned his sights on the one that snatched his food from his jaws. Yoshiro sighed lightly, further shaking his head for the foolishness of his comrade.
"Excuse me," Yoshiro called out loudly enough to be heard by the arrancar, though he didn't sound very threatening. "I would like to ask if this situation could be handled more peacefully."
There wasn't a reason for the arrancar to accept, rather not one that Yoshiro could see. However, if there was a chance to appeal to something within him, it needed to be taken. The quincy had been the cause of everything going on, and there were more isolated battles still going on. While Yoshiro wished to avoid an unnecessary battle, he remained ready to defend himself against an opponent apparently stronger than himself. His blind eyes cast their gaze on the arrancar, letting him know he wanted his response more than that of his comrade.
