STATISTICS REPORT



SPIRITUAL PRESSURE GREAT| With great power comes greater responsibility, this is the belief Seishiro passionately believes in. With such a tremendous spiritual pressure comes the duty to uphold justice and use it for the good of all. However his power is not his own, for he was gifted a token of power from Illiana Wake, which corrupts his control over his own reiatsu. This serves to give him greater power, but not the capacity to use it to its fullest. Even so, centuries of study within the Kido Corps and training his zanjutsu has made him a force to be reckoned with.

PERCEPTION MASTER| Articulate inspection is something of a niche for Seishiro, proving that keen insight on the smallest detail can sometimes yield tremendous effects. Delving into the Demon Arts has been a fascinating experience that has also given him an inherent level of perception that breaks down the very nature of an ability just as he gazes upon it, analyzing its properties through observation. Nothing is beyond Seishiro's comprehension; he has seen too much to be fooled by anything new, endured decades where others would perish within moments. He is even considered largely paranoid, almost always on the watch for a new threat.

Higaimōzō [被害妄想, Paranoia]| Always on the lookout for traces of deception, he has the ability to detect entities shrouded or obscured by him through physical or spiritual means. He can see where light is bent to shroud users with the ability to use Kyokko and even more complex variants, and has the innate sixth sense to know when something is nearby. Only those with far more advanced powers than Seishiro could even hope to take this Shinigami by surprise. Many sleepless nights in Hueco Mundo are the reason Seishiro developed this feature. Seishiro can see reiatsu in all of its applications, being able to discern the nature of the reiryoku being manipulated even if it isn't meant to be. Like most who master perception and devoutly study the Demon Arts, he is simply very well aware of his surroundings and can see reiatsu in the natural world plain as day, despite any and all mechanics it possesses.

SPIRITUAL CONTROL EXPERT| Ever since his corruption in Hueco Mundo almost fifty years ago, he has been incapable of harnessing his powers the same way he could before. He can approach the same level of power as before, but he cannot access a large part of his reiatsu for some unknown reason. He is curious as to whether or not this is merely a limit of their world that he has finally surpassed, or if there is something more insidious at work inside him. Despite this his efforts are quite renowned, capable of channeling large sums of reiatsu with apparent ease, though still not trained to their fullest extent.



KIDŌ PERFECTED| Apprenticed under the secretive Tokomaru-sama, he became a legend through his use of Kidou. Although many of his techniques aren't inherently Kidou, they are derived from principles he developed while learning and studying The Demon Arts. Despite never holding an official seat within the Kidoshu, he was the right-hand of Tokomaru-sama, and acted as a faithful companion. He hopes to one day share his findings with Tokomaru-sama should they ever be fated to meet again.

Kojin Kūkan [個人空間, Personal Space]| Manipulators of Kidou often enjoy the luxury of having a good distance between them and their opponents so as to avoid having their spells interrupted. Seishiro can essentially form Kidou at any point within ten meters of himself. This means that when casting Kidou they can form at any particular point within the ten meter radius. The reason for this is so that anyone within his 'personal space' can be dealt a serious blow from an instant-hit Kidou. This can also be used simply to reduce the range between the Kidou and the target by ten meters, which would make it reach them much faster than usual.

AGILITY EXPERT| Years of racing to and from the Rukongai Wastelands on training exercises into the uninhabited reaches of Soul Society has honed his agility quite well. An avid user of Shunpo, his speed with the art is surpassed by few among the many shinigami populating the Seireitei, though many share his prowess at the very least among seated shinigami. Lithe and average in size, he is an incredibly agile target and is nigh impossible to hit with slow moving projectiles. Consecutive use of Flash Steps is no problem, and his skill allows him to dance between dozens of incoming projectiles unscathed.

ENHANCED PHYSICAL SPEED | Although his overall speed isn't at its full potential, he derives much of his natural speed and grace from decades if not centuries of training in heavier armors and using heavier sets. The training has offered him great physical dexterity, as he grew more accustomed to the heavy burdens slowing him down. Reaching speeds others might consider impossible through sheer physical force alone.

ZANJUTSU PRACTITIONER| Seishiro's zanpakutou was once his bread and butter for combat, mostly due to its inherent supportive traits and the multiplicative nature of its abilities while more allies are present. The zanpakutou, however, serves little purpose on its own, making it incredibly tedious for use. Even so, the weapon is a part of him that he will never forsake; but he fears that his zanpakutou spirit doesn't feel the same.

ENHANCED PHYSICAL STRENGTH | Born from the need to lug around heavy equipment, he's become much stronger physically. This amplifies his strength exponentially, his strength being just as lethal physically as it is spiritually. His brutish strength is comparable to that of the most meat-headed neanderthal--in their prime--due to the unfathomably toned musculature of his figure.

HAKUDA NOVICE| Developing a fighting style known as Oniken no Michi [Way of the Demon Fist], Seishiro has innate strength and speed on his side, but lacks any refined fighting styles. Instead, his martial arts method consists of adding the strength of his Kidou to his attacks, which more than makes up for his otherwise insufficient knowledge in hand-to-hand combat. Still, he prefers to fight with a weapon or spells as opposed to his fists, but is more than prepared to should the need arise.

ITEMS | ODDS AND ENDS

IMAGE OF MARETHYU | The mask of the now deceased Vasto Lorde Marethyu is among one of Seishiro's most prized trinkets. While the normal masks of lesser Hollow tend to break more easily, the mask of this Vasto Lorde was particularly durable. Upon his death by Seishiro's hand, he looted and salvaged what he could of Marethyu, taking his mask and skull as a helm and his hide for a cloak, and his carapace for armor plating beneath his cloak. Grotesque and daunting, they

The mask can be used as a medium to draw out Hollow energies afflicting Seishiro, whose power seems to otherwise dwindle in the wake of the pale moonlight that hangs oppressively in the air. Without this mask, Seishiro would regress into a Hollowified Shinigami, but through the engineering mind of Illiana Wake, the mask was created. It also protects his body from many physical injuries and can block an ordinary Hollow's Cero effectively. The cloak conceals Seishiro's reiatsu for that of a Hollow, imitating their essence and allowing him to avoid anyone with a grudge against Shinigami. It can even be used to conceal his reiatsu outright, however this can be detected by those who are equal to or above Seishiro in terms of spiritual perception. Preparing an attack or defense would likely make the wearer easier to distinguish from their surroundings, most certainly if one was to begin handling large amounts of reiryoku for techniques.

SPIRITUAL TRACKING DEVICE | Capable of alerting him of nearby threats, it acts as a sonar that scans a mile around the user and was originally uplinked to a database that surveys all of the known realms. Now it is only useful for helping Seishiro avoid large groups of hostiles on Hueco Mundo's barren frontier. It is possible for it to detect all forms of spiritual entities from a distance away, much earlier in detection than a person's normal senses are. He keeps this on him at all times and has it set to alarm him if they encroach on his position consistently for more than a few seconds or simply stray too close towards his position. Owing his life to this contraption on more than one occasion since journeying to Hueco Mundo, he has tied it against his neck on a lanyard made from the leather hide of a long since dead Hollow.

The tracker is capable of detecting anything within a fifteen square mile radius, which is approximately the size of a capital city. His own signature is attuned with the device so that it doesn't trip the system. It is possible to communicate with other trackers through an instant messaging system, but having lost his connection to the databases and servers that handle this information, he is incapable of using this feature except to ocassionally try his luck. He is often frustrated with this object, for it is the reason he is still alive but also failing to get him back home.

THE EYE OF ILLIANA WAKE | Forced onto him by the Arrancar's relentless insisting on his taking her gift, she bound him against his will and exchanged an eye with him. The eye itself was Illiana's zanpakutou, which represented all of her great and terrible powers. Seishiro is unaware of the permanent changes reforging his body anew, mostly ignorant to. Why she chose to take it he isn't certain; she was mad enough to do it, this much is certain.

The eye is the source of Hollow Reiatsu in Seishiro's body that is contaminating him with the virulence that weakens him every waking hour. Alone and exhausted, his body is beginning to succumb to the oppressive reiatsu--or perhaps it is attuning itself to function more smoothly with his own reiatsu. Being Illiana's Zanpakutou, it contains massive amounts of her power and capabilities, which is now Seishiro's to do with as he wishes. It is unknown why Illiana bestowed Seishiro her eye, but it is speculated she hoped to one day retrieve it.

KIDO | THE DEMON ARTS

Eishōhaki [詠唱破棄, Incantation Abandonment] | Intent upon mastering the use of Eishohaki, Seishiro spent a large portion of his life not only disciplining his mind and body to make using Kido without incantation less stressful, but more rewarding. Among the legendary masters of Kido, he has the power to produce all Kido techniques without their incantation at full power. Typically he can be detected utilizing his reiryoku as if he were using the incantation, but he needn't actually say them. This makes practicing these powers in combat more viable as he needn't give his opponents such an opening to interrupt him. Seishiro's Eishohaki is considered to be mastered, allowing him nigh the full power of most Kido, while the extremely high level ones are reduced in power lightly, barely diminished by the method. He is even working on a more sleuth method of conjuring these powers without having to mention their name at all, though his experimentation into this art is undocumented.



Nijū Eishō [二重詠唱, Twofold Incantation] | When attempting to fool an opponent who couldn't possibly know the inner complexities of the Demon Arts, Seishiro can use this method to prepare two Kidou simultaneously and even manage to fire them off back-to-back almost simultaneously. This incantation method also opens up the potential to merely hold on to almost-completed incantations and suddenly complete them after pausing merely to catch an opponent off guard.



Kōjutsu Eishō [後述詠唱, Spoken-After Incantation] | Traditionally unorthodox, this incantation style is one unappreciated by Seishiro but not unpracticed. Although his techniques of this variety are often reduced in their strength significantly, the sudden eruption of reiryoku into the desired Kido can be quite useful and has a very low requirement of simply speaking after making the action, which upon mastering Kido can be done to further charge the technique while it is already in effect.

HADOU | Way of Destruction

1. 衝 [Shō | Thrust]: A small burst of energy--appearing to look like wind, but not quite such--races towards the target and hits them with about the same strength of their own punches. They can be shot from the tips of one's fingers, and being so basic, it is easy to fire off many in a single instant.



4. 白雷 [Byakurai | Pale Lightning]: A bolt of blue-white lightning pierces into the distance, impaling targets caught within its path. The technique can be used en masse through ease, though it is significantly harder than Sho to do such.



11. 綴雷電 [Tsuzuri Raiden | Bound Lightning]: Generates an electric current using a held item as a conductor, delivering a powerful, sustained shock to the target.



12. 伏火 [Fushibi | Ambush Flare]: Temporarily turns an item into a flammable conductor of fire, similar to an invisible oil coating.



31. 赤火砲 [Shakkahō | Red Fire Cannon]: Generates a crimson red fireball which is shot either as an exploding projectile or as a pillar of fire. Can be sustained to use as a torch.

Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south!

32. 黄火閃 [Ōkasen | Yellow Fire Flash]: With their zanpakutou held horizontally in front of them, the user generates a yellow orb of reiryoku that when shot fires off in a wide arcing motion. It can be done without the zanpakutou, though lesser skilled practitioners will find that their arc isn't as wide as it could be.



33. 蒼火墜 [Sōkatsui | Blue Fire, Crash Down]: A blue reriyoku blast erupts from the user's palm forwards, sending out a stream of volatile reiryoku. High ranking users find that their blast engulfs a much larger area than lesser practitioners.

Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws.

54. 廃炎 [Haien | Abolishing Flames]: Fires an oblong blast of purple energy which bursts into flames that leaves behind absolutely nothing.



58. 闐嵐 [Tenran | Orchid Sky]: Using their zanpakutou as a conduit, the user charges a massive torrent of swirling wind that sends a gale towards incoming opponents--blowing them away if they get caught up in it. Masters can create tremendous twisters with this technique--powerful enough to shred apart incompetent opponents.



63. 雷吼炮 [Raikōhō | Thunder Roar Sear]: Lightning reiryoku is shot out at a target, engulfing a large area in the blast. The resulting explosion covers a wide area, and is briefly engulfed in smoke and debris.

Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle!

73. 双漣蒼火墜 [Sōren Sōkatsui | Twin Lotus Blue Fire, Crash Down]: An even more potent version of Sokatsui, two separate orbs of pale blue reiryoku begin coalescing in the user's hands, which are then sent rocketing towards an opponent with enough power to demolish large stone constructs.

Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens.

88. 飛竜撃賊震天雷炮 [Hiryū Gekizoku Shinten Raihō | Flying Dragon-Striking Heaven-Shaking Thunder Cannon]: Almost suddenly, the user's outstretched palm unleashes a massive surge of electrical energies as a hellish screeching static noise fills the ears of everyone nearby. A very destructive explosion enshrouds the target and their viscinity, immolating those within.



90. 黒棺 [Kurohitsugi | Black Coffin]: A rectangular prism of black reiryoku fringed with the color of the user's reiatsu entraps the target within before several large shafts of the same reiatsu appear surrounding the box before penetrating it deeply, eviscerating the victim within. At its full potential, the sky around darkens and is filled with an ominous humming sound, and the technique appears much larger and tangible, and it is pierced by crosses. It is rumored to bend space and time.

Seeping crest of turbidity. Arrogant vessel of lunacy! Boil forth and deny! Grow numb and flicker! Disrupt sleep! Crawling queen of iron! Eternally self-destructing doll of mud! Unite! Repulse! Fill with soil and know your own powerlessness!

91. 千手皎天汰炮 [Senjū Kōten Taihō | Thousand-Hand Bright Heaven Culling-Sear]: Scattered about them randomly, ten pink points of energy begin culminating large amounts of reiryoku. When fired they close in on a single target and explode, though a master may be able to send each shot off at a different target.

Limit of the thousands hands, respectful hands, unable to touch the darkness. Shooting hands unable to reflect the blue sky. The road that basks in light, the wind that ignited the embers, time that gathers when both are together, there is no need to be hesitant, obey my orders. Light bullets, eight bodies, nine items, book of heaven, diseased treasure, great wheel, grey fortress tower. Aim far away, scatter brightly and cleanly when fired.

BAKUDOU | Way of Binding

1. 塞 [Sai | Restrain]: All intended targets in an area instantly have their arms forced and locked behind their back.



4. 這縄 [Hainawa | Crawling Rope]: A fast-paced but low-ranking binding technique that ejects a rope of jaundis yellow reiatsu at the target, quickly ensaring them and preventing ease of movement. The technique itself can act as a conduit for many of the light-based Bakudou.



8. 斥 [Seki | Repulse]: Creates a small orb of light blue energy that reacts to a strike, forcing the enemy backwards. Seishiro is capable of forming this technique anywhere on his body, causing physical strikes to be repelled and temporarily paralyzing them--making their own attempts at counter-striking immensely difficult.



9. 崩輪 [Hōrin | Disintegrating Circle]: Creates an orange-hued tendril with spiraling yellow patterns that wraps around the opponent, immobilizing them. It can be controlled after it's fired, and control can be disengaged when no longer needed.

Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat!

9. 撃 [Geki | Strike]: The user produces a red light from a kanji symbol that appears from their palm, which paralyzes foes caught in the light temporarily. The range of the technique is very short, though its effects are potent for such a low ranking spell.



21. 赤煙遁 [Sekienton | Red Smoke Concealment]: Lets out a large burst of red-colored smoke which obscures one's vision and affects spiritual pressure sensing abilities.



26. 曲光 [Kyokkō | Bent Light]: The user's form and reiatsu are disguised by bending light around the user. The bent light is harder to detect the more proficient the user is at Kidou.

Modified Kyokko| The need to hide in his surroundings arose many times in the deserts of Hueco Mundo, and some creatures were all too clever in locating him if he was hiding in Kyokko. So he developed a better version--one that truly removes someone from that plane of existence, but still allows them to see and move around normally. They are incapable of influencing what happens around them because of this, so they cannot even harm an opponent during this time. Because of this the technique is largely used for reconaissance only, but helped to also keep Seishiro safe in Hueco Mundo.

[30. 嘴突三閃 [Shitotsu Sansen | Beak-Percing Triple Beam]: Crackling yellow reiatsu forms in the caster's palm, which is used to draw a triangle in the air that forms a triangle armed with three 'beaks' of reiatsu that shoot out at the target, pinning them via the arms and midsection against a surface such as a wall.



37. 吊星 [Tsuriboshi | Suspending Star]: Creates a ball of blue energy which, in turn, shoots out six ropes to form a trampoline which can cushion falls.



39. 円閘扇 [Enkōsen | Round Lock Fan]: Holding their palm against the spine of their zanpakutou, the user forms a whirling torrent of energy that serves to block against incoming attacks.



58. 摑趾追雀 [Kakushitsuijaku | Tracking Sparrows Summon]: Drawing a circle, separated into four quadrants, creates a tracking device. It works similarly to a Global Positioning System.

Heart of the south, eye of the north, finger of the west, foot of the east, arrive with the wind and depart with the rain.

61. 六杖光牢 [Rikujōkōrō | Six Rods Prison of Light]: The user generates a small spark of the same jaundis-yellow reiryoku as Hainawa, which spawns six wide but thin shafts of light to pin the target via their torso, though they take a moment to collapse in on the target. They cannot move their body at all once the technique lands. This technique can use Hainawa as a conduit to form the Bakudou right on top of them.

Carriage of thunder, bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six!

62. 百歩欄干 [Hyapporankan | Hundred-Step Rail Fence]: Throws a rod of bluish-white glowing energy which multiplies itself into a rain of a hundred rods to pierce and pin a target down.



63. 鎖条鎖縛 [Sajō Sabaku | Locking Bondage Stripes]: A mass of writhing chains slide around the opponent before collapsing in on them, constricting their arms. It is a very powerful binding technique and those who are caught by it mid-air tend to fall down, due to the incredible weight of the chains.



73. 倒山晶 [Tozanshō | Inverted Crystal Mountain]: Blue energy extends upward to four points and forms an inverted pyramid, which then solidifies into a sturdy barrier. It can be used both as a prison and as defense.



77. 天挺空羅 [Tenteikūra | Heavenly Charged Sky Net]: This Bakudo is used for communicating to a large number of people the information in question. The user is required to draw certain symbols on their arms and on the ground before projecting a rectangle that forms root-like constructs as the user makes hand gestures, connecting them to their targets through a sort of telepathic communications system. Seishiro carries around a special ink tool that draws the symbol on his outstretched arm, which is all he needs to make the technique function appropriately.

Black and white net. Twenty-two bridges, sixty-six crowns and belts. Footprints, distant thunder, sharp peak, engulfing land, hidden in the night, sea of clouds, blue line. Form a circle and fly through the heavens.

79. 九曜縛 [Kuyō Shibari | Nine Sunlight Traps]: Eight black holes form a circle around an opponent, with a ninth materializing over the victim's chest. They emit high amounts of reiatsu and are meant to immobilize the target.



81. 斷空 [Dankū | Splitting Void]: A translucent barrier of great power suddenly erupts in front of the user to block any incoming attack. It takes the shape of a rectangle standing tall above the user, blocking everything coming from that direction.



99. 禁 [Kin (Part 1) | Seal]: Requiring practitioners to make intricate hand-signs and gesture their arms appropriately (Perfected Kidou entails the ability to use it less ritually, merely casting it with a single hand gesture) they begin to wrap a very resilient spiritual fabric around the target's arms, binding them to their back before pinning them down with spiritual weights. It is one of the strongest Bakudou ever made, and is merely the first part of the entirety of the spell.



99. 卍禁 [Bankin (Part 2) | Great Seal]: Pale spiritual fabric engulfs the target, wrapping them up similarly to egyptian mummies. Secondly, dozens of minuscule arrows puncture the fabric and bury deeper into the victim's body. Lastly, a giant pillar appears above the target, which may inadvertently kill them once it drops on them.

--. 九十六京火架封滅 [Kyūjūrokkei Kakafūmetsu | Ninety-Six Capitol Fire-Suspended Seal Destruction]: A lucrative use of kidou, this is an ultimate sealing technique in terms of raw power. By placing it on an opponent subtly (it can be embedded in other kidou too,) they condemn that person to essentially be " crucified ". It is alleged this technique was forbidden for being used on the infamous Quincy Jesus Christ, who fell at the use of this technique by a masterful foe. Seishiro came across it through Tokomaru-sama, who was as fanatical as Seishiro for the Demon Arts.



--. ミジョン・エスクド [Millon Escudo | Million Shield]: A very powerful technique, a small, strobing green hexagonal construct floats wherever the user desires, ideally protecting their flank from unseen attacks. When an incoming attack is sensed, it enlarges to block the technique. Despite how persistent the attack is, the kidou will resist it until it is halted, being the ultimate blocking technique. It theoretically keeps draining the user of reiryoku until the assault is completely countered. It can only be overpowered by literally waiting their reiryoku reserves, making it a futile effort towards most.

--. エル・エスクド [El Escudo | The Shield]: With so much as the slightest gesture, a green oval shield rises to block any incoming attack. It can easily block at least a single zanpakutou strike. It is also possible for a skilled expert of kidou to spawn these around their allies in order to save them from incoming strikes. It is the predecessor to Mijon Esukudo, being very resilient in the hands of a master.

威眠 [Inemuri | Forced Slumber]: As the practitioner holds their hand in front of their victim's face, the victim's pupils dilate several times before they fall unconscious.

KINJI KIDOU | Forbidden Demon Arts

--. 発狂した暴君の裏切り [Hakkyō Shita Bōkun no Uragiri | Demented Tyrant's Betrayal]: A Kidou developed by the ancient Shinigami of old, it was outlawed around the time of its creation due to its inherent capabilities. Although it isn't quite a mind control technique, it is a very capable subjugating technique. By using the technique, one exerts their own will power over an opponent's body. It renders them incapable of movement or action just the same as the user. While reciting the incantation, runes will start to appear around the target in a fine mesh pattern, confining them within the space before collapsing in on them. They are then branded onto the opponent and the Kidou's power can then be invoked, which streams a flow of reiatsu from the caster's body and exerts 'their will' on the opponent. Breaking out of this technique is nigh impossible, but the person using it cannot make actions either, else the spell would break--their will diverted from suppressing the target to making their action, giving an opponent the opportunity needed to break the spell. It is considered the ultimate Bakudou in many ways.

A mind wracked with fear, a court bereft of compassion. The seething will of your subjects cannot compare to your iron nerve! Command their loyalty--demand their servitude! Remind those at your beck and call that their will is not their own!

--. 封殺火刑 [Fūsatsu Kakei | Seal Slaying-Fire Penance]: Appearing as glowing rings upon the wrists of the opponent, this spell blocks off the Reiatsu vents located in the wrists of all Shinigami, resulting in the opponent being incinerated from the inside out by their own Reiatsu.



96. 一刀火葬 [Ittō Kasō | Single Blade Cremation]: The spell causes a massive pillar of red fire to erupt from the ground in the shape of a giant katana's tip. The practitioner can only activate the spell by using their own body as the catalyst, though anyone perfected can use another target as the medium for the technique, usually using their charred flesh as a catalyst.

ZANPAKUTOU | SOUL CUTTER

SEALED APPEARANCE | Seishiro's zanpakuto is typically hidden within a shakujo that has three rings hanging from either side of a giant hoop that sits atop the end of the staff. The top hoop is resemblant of the kidoshu insignia, with two points jutting out the circle higher along its length, and the long handle of the stave acting as the third bottom point. Within this shakujo is Seishiro's real zanpakutou, which is a standard katana with a black hilt and a circular tsuba in the shape of the kidoshu insignia as well.



SHIKAI | KISHIJOJISHI



RELEASE PHRASE | Play at war, Kishijojishi



SHIKAI APPEARANCE | Kishijojishi manifests as a double-edged hand-and-a-half sword which can be alternated between a two-handed or one-handed fighting style. It has a full metal body with black fabric wrapped around the hilt.



ABILITIES |

THE IRON PRICE | While fighting within the boundaries of this shikai release, competitors will find that all of their sword attacks strike true. This is to say that, anytime they find their sword attempting to cut through something, it succeeds without fail. Only another zanpakutou can feasibly block a zanpakutou, anything else is forfeit. If a person is caught lacking and pretends to believe they can tank a hit, they will soon find that they are mistaken. If blade touches foe, blood will run; the iron price will be paid.



JUST DESERTS | Injuries sustained during battle in this release state cannot be recovered/reversed, though they can be healed shut. At most they can heal the wounds over with heavily scarred tissue presiding where the lopped off flesh once connected to their body. All injuries dealt within the reiatsu range of the shikai are subject to this rule. Leaving the presence of the zone doesn't remove the effect on pre-existing wounds; a wound sustained in the direct area can never be fully restored.

MISC. | POWERS

Ta Keitai* [多形体, Polymorph]| The ability to change anything into something else temporarily. It is in no way harmful to the target, though it does have practical application in combat. Despite this it is also a useful tool for punishment. It simply morphs the target into the desired object after the user charges the technique as an arcane orb in the palm of their hand. It must contact the target to affect them, but it can be slung through the air with great strength by appropriately strong practitioners. It can also be used merely to turn the user into something else as a form of disguise.

This technique cannot be used on anyone but the user in combat, but the user is freely able to change their appearance as they see fit, and can change back just as fast. This is meant as more of a shapeshifting technique when used for combat purposes.

Kōen* [後援, Aegis]| By merely making a gesture with his hands, Seishiro can produce basic barriers of reiryoku that are translucent prisms of energy that provide very basic protection. Although more complex formations can be made by using two hands or in the hands of a master, they are more than effective as singular rectangular barricades. They are typically used to deflect an incoming slash or other attack, and can be layered or interwoven to provide a stronger defense. In its most powerful form the barrier is a sphere or dome surrounding the user that cannot be permeated, though it strains the user to maintain it for long and a prolonged siege on the barrier will inevitably break it.

Able to be formed with a mere hand gesture, they are extremely fast and therefore last sustained defensive qualities, instead blocking an attack for an instant before dissipating, only acting to parallel the incoming force with an equal and opposing force. The dome is produced by using two hands that focus the necessary energies to shield any incoming attack, though higher ranks can eventually break through with persistence, as they will eventually outlast Seishiro in combat.

Oniken no Michi* [鬼拳の道, Way of the Demon Fist]| The ability to infuse his body with Kidou through the Way of the Demon Fist. Essentially one completes the Kidou requirements while focusing the reiryoku into the desired limb, which then becomes insatured with that spell and will cast that spell on the next thing you hit with the attack. It will delay if Seishiro is within a danger close zone, a precaution to avoid serious injury. It also augments a person's physical condition, including durability and stamina, conditioning them from the constant overwhelming amount of reiatsu manifesting in and around their body. A master of this technique will have skin that resists the sharpest of blades as long as the wielder is higher than them in rank, and will even be able to survive a few chance encounters with equally strong opponent's blades, though it proves of little value against higher ranked opponents.

This technique is a passive attribute after years of developing his own fighting style and trying to infuse Kidou with his body using runes. The training has made him immune to his own backfiring techniques, as well as the obvious defensive benefits already outlined.

Kijin no Michi* [鬼刃の道, Way of the Demon Blade]| Many people do not realize that their Zanpakutou actually grows in size relevant to their reiatsu. This is because only those of captain-level in power ever come across the problem. Constantly sealing their zanpakutou down to a manageable size, it requires great amounts of reiatsu control. Seishiro manipulates the way he seals his zanpakutou down in size, allowing him to rapidly shoot his zanpakutou at opponents. This can be used to cleave large objects into pieces or to stab at enemies from very long distances, though it can be used in close range as well. The blade can also act as a conduit for Kidou spells as well, much like Oniken no Michi.

Because zanpakutou in release form are meant to maintain their shape and size, this technique cannot be applied in a release form pertaining to the user's zanpakutou; released zanpakutou can still act as a conduit for Kidou through Kijin no Michi. The blade jabs forward at the speed of Bala, making it difficult for anyone below Seishiro to block without seeing it rush towards them from afar. Equal ranks will find it hazardous to contend with but can evade it completely if they're quick enough. Higher ranks can cut through the protruding blade length, as the density of the blade is weakened when it spreads out to cover more surface area.

Senri-hin [戦利品, Spoils of War] | Upon killing an opponent, Seishiro is able to create a special item with unique properties based on what he is looting. He can only salvage one relic upon scavenging a corpse, and its properties should relate to the attributes of the slain creature or person. People will generally reward enchanted trinkets or jewelry while animals offer bone and leather for crafting armor out of. Seishiro can harvest better components for a more profound relic on stronger opponents. He can bestow these gifts to others; they don't need to be used solely by Seishiro.

Crafted items must be created and approved before using them in character. Items should pertain to the strengths and weaknesses of the creature or person killed for such reward.

Inochidzuna* [命綱, Lifeline]| A technique developed to sustain an individual in critical condition while transporting them to the Yonbantai's Coordinated Relief Station. It is impossible to maintain this technique in combat, but is possible to use it on the run. In order to keep the effect, the user must maintain physical contact. They essentially use their own power to anchor them to their body, keeping them alive forcefully, while it also works to provide basic first aid and to keep them stable and conscious.



Hantōmaku* [半透膜, lit. Semi-Permeable Membrane]| Seishiro is cloaked in residual reiatsu that seeks to filter incoming and outgoing particles. Before letting a new particle through, it first takes a test sample from the invading particles, and tries to discern its purpose. When a threat is perceived, the Semi-Permeable Membrane logs this discovery and will forevermore shut out those particles, rejecting them before they can even enter the body. This encasing serves to keep contaminating elements out of his body. This prevents techniques that simply take effect within a specific perimeter, but any affliction brought about through injuring Seishiro [i.e. a poisoned dagger] isn't prevented by this technique.

Bōhatei [防波堤, Bulwark]| When Semi-Permeable Membrane detects anything, Seishirou must supplement the technique with this kidou in order to indefinitely thwart the substance in question. Everytime a new type of substance is introduced, he must reinvoke this technique to adapt his Semi-Permeable Membrane to defend against it adequately. Once he has supplemented Semi-Permeable Membrane with this technique, it will always be prepared to resist the substance(s) whenever they come into contact with the membrane.

Amidst the Garden of Bones, a single raven feasts on blighted flesh, nevermore to fear pestilence.

Geijutsuka o Dasshutsu* [芸術家を脱出, Skeleton Key lit. 'Escape Artist']| At times we are trapped against our will. Seishiro is very familiar with all varieties of binding and sealing techniques, having learned a colossal variety over the course of centuries. Without so much as lifting a finger he can spiritually begin to unlock any binding, remove any seal. This can be seen as using his reiatsu to 'feel out' the binding technique much like a thief feels out a lock before picking it. This principle allows Seishiro to overcome any binding through little exertion, although in some cases it can take time. This technique is very subtle in its application, undetected by most perception abilities as Seishiro is actually tinkering with the reiryoku on an infinitesimal level.

Upon being bound, Seishiro can immediately begin tinkering with the binding before beginning to unbind himself. It is a relatively expedient technique, capable of getting him out of any sticky situation. It is also possible to merely burn off techniques with his reiatsu, but this is less efficient as it drains the user more than the subtle method outlined above.
