"born sinner the opposite of a winner"Where am I? The thought continuously raced through the young golden haired kid mind as he was finally waking up from what seemed like an eternal slumber. Eyes felt heavy like it was impossible for him to see what was upon him. One thing was for sure, the area that he wound up in had been extremely cold and even though frightening temperatures didn’t bother him, this might have gone over the top.
“Uhh, gotta get up and moving.”
Those were the only words that were able to escape his pink lips before another rush of arctic winds blew past him and he quickly jumped to his feet. The rush of moving his body in such drastic weather gave him a small spark a warmth, and suddenly everything was coming back to him.
Apparently, back in the human world, the C.I.A. wished for the young agent to enter the world known as “Soul Society” and go about doing some minor investigations so that they’d have better understanding of the world. But when Cole entered the gate he remembered running through a dark tunnel, and behind him a creature of dark proportions was quickly gaining speed on him. Luckily he made it past the gate of light and entered the world safely, although the least they could have told him was to be better dressed for the occasion. Surveying the area around him he noticed pure white snow enveloped the earthy soil and plenty of mountain tops could be seen in the distance, along with a small village not too far from his current location.
“Should probably be on my guard around here, don’t really know what might happen.”
Cole murmured to himself as he made way towards the little community.
There was one thing he knew about the world he had entered, that being known as Shinigami, or gods of death had inhabited it for centuries. The kid’s never met one in real life, but from the research he’s read, there was no way he’d approach one without being prepared for battle. Gripping his guitar tightly, Cole did his best to stay warm and be on his guard. Little did he know, there was already someone waiting for him at his destination.
