EL RENACIMIENTOA Kingdom of Hollow Reborn
There was no sweeter feeling than looting a corpse. Luucio Krakken had yet to find anything in his two hundred years of life that even slightly approached that feeling, but he had found ways to do it to maximize the pleasure. Someone questioned him once about why he wanted to overthrow the Hohlreich, and Luccio never answered. He didn’t have an answer then, to be more accurate. Now, with the greatest corpse in history ready to present him with the greatest treasure, he did.“You bastard...you traitorous bastard…!” Godking Ngo Viet Thuu couldn’t even speak anymore. The fear on his fat, scarred face was the resolve Luucio needed to go forward. With one last step, he finished climbing the thousand stairs that lead up to Ngo’s throne. A wickedness curved his lips into a smile.“Godking, I have come before you for one reason.”“YOU WILL NOT HAVE MY THRONE!” Ngo screeched. He jumped out, hands open and glowing a bloody red. Luucio grabbed both of them by the wrist and shoved them upwards. It took less strength than it would to break a baby’s neck to turn the empire’s greatest fighter away. Both cero streaked through the sky, illuminating everything around Las Noches. Luucio threw the Godking back into his throne and held back a laugh when he saw the yellow stream pouring down the marble. Few things were as terrifying as an army of hollow and arrancar bathed in red. “Fifty years we’ve been at war, Ngo. And for the last thousand, you’ve been in a losing battle against the shinigami. When’s the last time you’ve even seen a Vasto Lorde, let alone recruited one?”“Y-y-y-you…” Ngo’s face was beet red. This time, Luucio openly laughed.“I wanted to have a talk here so I could watch you cry more, but I guess that was just an impossible fantasy, eh? Well, I guess to make this a good story, I can at least say one thing I’ve always wanted too.” Luucio held out his left hand and bared his fangs. “Viva el Renacimiento!”The Hohlreich, an empire of arrancar and hollow lasting more than a thousand years, ended much the same way it began: in blood and ashes. There was nothing left of the throne besides a blackened stump of quartz and marble. Luucio turned to face the army gathering at the base of the thousand stair, each hollow and arrancar bowing with their hands clasped above their heads.“I am your new Godking, Luucio Krakken!” A cheer answered him. “The Hohlreich is no more!” A second cheer replied to him. “We are now El Renacimiento, and I introduce you to your new leaders, los Espadas del Renacimientos!”Ten figures appeared from nowhere, each one landing on a step one hundred paces above the last. Their spiritual power was tremendous, and their white and black robes fluttered in the hot night wind. The army was quiet, and many looked up from their worship out of confusion. Then the cheering came, this time so loud that it shook the foundation of Hueco Mundo itself.“Viva la Renacimiento! Viva la Renacimiento! Viva la Renacimiento!”
