HIGH SPIRITUAL POWER:
Due to lacking ambition in general, at least when it comes to positions, Shizuka generally gets overlooked, which is not helped at all by the peculiar nature of her Zanpakuto. However, she has accumulated quite an amount of experience and training over time, despite not being the most effective of fighters, at least when it comes to eliminating enemies. She always needs assistance to eliminate threats, so she has not made it very far.

She always needs assistance to eliminate threats, so she has not made it very far.
ZANPAKUTO:
- Name: Seika [sacred flame]
- Sealed Form:
An almost standardized black Katana. It only has a somewhat long Kagi, a hook to the side of the blade, for parrying purposes, which makes it look like an oversize Jitte. Its sheath covers the Kagi as well and is black with white ornaments. - Spirit:
For some reason, Seika's spirit takes the form of a white raptor. On fire. There really isn't much more to say, aside from her somewhat rough, yet caring attitude. Kind of a burning raptor that would like to hug people. She means well, but she'd better not do it. Despite its looks or rather because of it, Seika's main theme is that of a restrained, balanced flame. - World:
Seika's inner world resembles an exotic, lush island with long sandy beaches. - Shikai
- Release: kiyomeru [cleanse]
- Form: Unlike most Zanpakuto, Seika does not change much when it is released. The most noticeable change in form is that its blade glows white, implying something is off about the blade.
- Techniques:
- Restraint: Seika is a peculiar Zanpakuto, in that it is incapable of delivering killing blow, and almost impossible to leave a wound on an opponent’s body. While it can cut or stab, the flames on the blade cause said wounds to cauterize and to support the victim's body in regenerating the wound, closing the wounds caused by it again right away. This ability causes wounds to always heal correctly, so it is useful in correcting cases where wounds did not heal well on their own. Additionally, it can be used on existing wounds in an attempt to heal them, much akin to Kido healing. However, the cauterization and regeneration come at a cost - any wound healed that way causes the pain it would have caused over the time it would take to heal naturally, to befall the victim over the duration of the healing.
Skills:
- WEAPON USE: EXPERT
Seeing as all she can do is pretty much slashing and stabbing, Shizuka's main focus is the use of her Zanpakuto. She is inept at using any other weapon, aside from a little bit of skill in using chopsticks. - HAND-TO-HAND: PRACTICIONER
Shizuja knows just enough to get by, but can hardly take on anyone with a bit of pride in this area. She deems it a rather useless skill for herself, given the nature of her Zanpakuto. - SPIRITUAL CONTROL: PRACTICIONER
While she is not adept in Kidou at all, Shizuka does have a bit of talent in hiding her pressure from time to time. It is nothing out of the ordinary though, and people generally notice her if she does pretty much anything. - AGILITY: EXPERT
While she might not be able to rely on her CQC skills in a pinch, Shizuka is quite good at running away. Or running towards, really. Shunpo makes up a big part of her hit-and-run fighting style, so it is only natural for her to pick up as much training in this as possible. - PERCEPTION: EXPERT
Noticing a foe and their intention early can make the difference between life and death and is therefore, at least in her eyes, much more useful than reigning in her own energy. Despite this, she is prone to doing mistakes, when not serious about things, and often too lazy to check preemptively.
