Hyesung is often described as the queen bitch. She's cold, ruthless, and completely uncaring. She cares about her mission and her mission alone and has no qualms about killing whoever stands in the way, a fellow agent or even an unidentified civilian.

She tends to work alone for that very reason, many are scared of her not because of her power, but because of her personality. If she has any redeeming qualities, she has yet to find any in her. However, she is loyal to the CIA and will carry out any order they give her without a second thought.

This has led many to believe that she is emotionless, but that is not the case. She has been betrayed by everyone in her life other than the CIA and would give her life for them, she has a very thick shell that is incredibly hard to crack, and none has been able to do so yet.

Hyesung was born in America while her parents were from South Korea. Initially believing she would come out a boy they did not want her to serve two years in the military that was mandatory for them. They went to America legally but had stayed there until she was born, and they later signed up for legal citizenship. During the pregnancy the mother was harmed by a black creature, but that is all the information that could be extracted from the hysterical woman.

Everything was fine, up until her teenage years when she was sent away by her parents to a boarding school so that they could use that time away from her. She hated boarding school, and was only supposed to stay for two years, but she was there during her entire high-school career. Her parents kept promising her that she'd return, but they always made some excuse to keep her there. Later she found that they were traveling while she was gone, and didn't wish to stop, so they didn't.

She had relationships, all ended in arguments, some of the boys cheated on her, some abused her. It was during one of these abusive relationships that her power unlocked and she nearly killed the man. She couldn't for the life of her explain anything to the court, and her parents didn't even appear to stay anything to help. She was sentenced to jail for 20 years.

In jail her powers would spree out of control from time to time, causing her to be placed in solitary confinement. It was during these times that the CIA had caught wind of her. She was bailed out at the age of 25, 9 years ago, and began to work for them. At first, she had no idea why, but later learned of the spiritual side of the world. There, she met many others like her, but nobody could exactly help her with her powers, especially not the agency itself, she had to learn everything on her own.
