Extraordinary Beings: Overview of Spiritual Powers

Over the course of human evolution, there have been numerous tribes of people whose religions and beliefs included them holding extraordinary powers. Though many of these have been debunked with investigation and the attaining of ancient documents, many have been proven to have abilities that normal humans cannot mimic nor comprehend. Of these various tribes, mutations, and groups, two stand out that require more research. 

-Quincy: The quincy, as they call themselves, is the largest and most diverse group of extraordinary humans encountered. They live on all seven continents, hold positions as high as  

goverment officials, and are the most matured group discovered. They utilize a state of matter they call Reishi, or Spirit Particles, to perform feats that the natural eye cannot recognize. It has been discovered that despite this group’s size, most members are in close contact with each other. Threat level to the United States of America is orange. No known technology has been able to replicate or harness the Reishi that a quincy uses. Further investigation required. 

-Fullbringer: The Fullbringer, a name created by the quincy, is an extremely small group of extraordinary humans. Origins: unknown. They are capable of manipulating matter in ways that physicists and chemists have been unable to comprehend. Multiple work within the Agency, and though their powers have been studied, few logical conclusions have been reached about the nature of their powers. Threat to the United States of America is yellow. Further investigation required. 

Additionally, there are two more groups that are believed to be threats to the United States of America. 

-Shinigami: No known information on shinigami other than what has been gathered. Supposedly, these invisible beings carry souls back and forth between dimensions. They are reportedly armed and can perform feats beyond that of any human, extraordinary or otherwise. No contact has been made between them and any other government to our knowledge, despite them being intelligent. Threat level to the United States of America is orange. Further investigation is required. 

-Hollow: The name every tribe or group of extraordinary humans has attached to an alien creature that hunts humans. Invisible to the naked eye, it requires special technology, generally thermal vision, to make out where they are. Very rare to be discovered, though we have information that shinigami often fight hollow for reasons unknown. Threat level to the United States of America is red. Suggested course of action is to create new technology and gather spiritual groups to combat hollow. Further investigation is still required. 

Finally, there is one group that we have managed to successfully gather and record. 

-Bount: Bount are humans that have been experimented on by the shinigami in attempts to artificially produce more shinigami. These experiments happened five hundred years ago, from all sources. Though the bount have little information on the Shinigami or their location, the Seireitei, they do not age normally and are capable of seeing hollow, Reishi, and even utilizing spiritual means to fight. So far, over ninety members of this group have been gathered within the Central Intelligence Agency to be used as soldiers, informants, and scientists. Threat level to the United States of America is yellow.
