EXPERT SWORDSMANSHIP| While Yoshiro is a taichou of the Gotei, he is by no means extremely well versed in the use of his zanpakutou. When it comes to swinging it, he knows enough to show his years, but there are far better users of the blade, both in the Gotei and outside. He prefers to use his zanpakutou as a tool to understand his opponent's skill for it isn't his strong suit and thus can be overcome easier. Once in understanding of the opponent if he chooses to use this tactic, he abandons use of his zanpakutou near entirely.GREAT SPIRITUAL POWER| There are few that understand the limits of Yoshiro's spiritual power. It is often seen that he can exert more strength than perceived, and for good reason. If he were to release full force, many would quickly feel the weight of nearly one thousand years fall on them.PERFECTED HAND-TO-HAND| Yoshiro's strong suit is fighting fist to fist, or fist to blade in many cases. His body is trained to be more deadly than that of a blade. A punch from him has the destructive force to devastate buildings with ease. However, his grace is more elegant than the dance of swans. He is truly a lethal weapon of martial prowess.MODIFIED WING CHUN| Due to his age, Yoshiro has developed his martial arts to allow him to use the least amount of energy possible. He can dispatch foes quickly with many rapid strikes, though his core style is defensive. Within his style, he has developed the ability defend against nearly any attack, even those of range. With forcus of his spiritual energy into defending, he can deflect purely energy based attacks with a great deal of success. There are times that he can be overpowered, thus he refrains from blocking things outright without having released his energy and taking his younger form.EXPERT AGILITY| There was a time when Yoshiro could run with the fastest, though the years have began to outrun him. His age keeps him from moving his quickest without exerting all of his effort into doing so. Disregarding the old taichou's speed would be a grave mistake. Many have fallen prey to this as he crept into his elder years.MASTERFUL SPIRITUAL CONTROL| Controlling his energy is something Yoshiro has mastered through countless years of hard work. Although he never learned kido due to his original division, using his control over his own spiritual energy, he has managed a way to return to his youth, or at least mimic it. This has often created the misunderstanding of his true level of strength, and many believe he is always holding back. That statement isn't too far from the truth, though he wouldn't ever admit to holding back. No matter what level he restricts himself to, he give it his all at this level.REVERSE THE CLOCK| Almost as if he is able to turn back time, Yoshiro takes a form similar to being in his prime. Exploding with his ice blue spiritual energy, he is shielded from majority of attacks that lack piercing capabilities while changing. This form comes with an increase to his agility despite the bulking appearance he returns to. His agility becomes MASTERERFUL. While in this form, his attacks create vacuums as they cut the air in front of him. These vacuums travel a short distance away at a moderate pace, nearly five yards, and can rend average hierro and the like with ease. A direct blow from his attacks can shatter the toughest of hierro, and he is known to punch holes clean through his targets. He is able to fight in this form for extended periods of time, but it takes a large amount of time to recover after doing so.MASTERFUL PERCEPTION| Being blind may prevent him from using his true sight, though Yoshiro has long overcome this obstacle with his sensing capabilities. He can feel what he calls the energy of life, an invisible force similar to spiritual energy that emanates from all things. Using this, he can "see" the area far better than people can with their eyes. His hearing has also increased by proxy, something typical of those born without sight.TRUER SIGHT| The ability to seemingly see in 360 degrees as well as look through things. This is nearly unique to Yoshiro, and something he never questioned if others could learn. He does expect those born with a similar disability could achieve his status of truer sight, as many with sight would be reluctant to train minus one of their senses for such a long time.
