"Uh. More like it's required of me. I need around sixteen hours of sleep every day on average or else I don't function right. Don't ask me why, that's just how it is. Wouldn't say it's fun... sleep just heals the soul." A better explanation? He couldn't really give one as he didn't quite know himself, but... he guessed rest was a good thing for him. Whenever he had pain rack through his body, sleep always helped. At the moment, he felt like he was rambling or something, though. She obviously wouldn't have cared much about an explanation, and he didn't feel like talking about himself a whole lot. So, attempting to divert the conversations away from himself, he stretched his left arm across the table, tapping fingers against its surface lightly.
"Really though, I regret it. I think it would've been nice to have you in my squad those decades ago to now, even with your current situation. Are you sure you don't want me to do anything? Anything at all." He was being persistent, but he had a reason to.

"Sixteen hours of sleep? Do you even have time for your duties, or proper meals for that matter?" She interjected right after his explanation of why he needed so much sleep. It had her completely flabbergasted, and her urge to get an answer temporarily overtook her usual politeness.
Again, she forced herself back into a calm state, sighing.
"Thank you, but no. I came to meet the person who, well, happens to be you." Shizuku admitted. But, why would she want to meet this person? Was it really just on a whim?
She couldn't tell, and it will probably remain a mystery for a good long time.

"Uh... yeah, sixteen. I eat when I do, and I get my work done pretty much whenever I can. Still in the game and running, so I guess i'm doing fine enough." He didn't find his methods strange in the least, nor did he understand why anyone else would. Was sleeping sixteen hours a bad thing, really? Was it that surprising that he loved to catch some sleep everyday or so? Probably.
Stretching his arm across to table as to shake her hand-- if she did the same of course, he'd speak lightly and with respect, in a way. "Nice to meet you, then. I don't want to trouble you any longer, so if you want to head out, you can."

"I see..." Shizuku responded as she took his hand and shook it.
"Well then, I won't overstay my welcome. Thanks for the tea and snacks, Seijirou-san." Shizuku spoke, once again using her polite tone.
Getting up from the chair, she re-entered her strange state of anti-gravity and levitated towards the exit. Stopping at the open doors, she turned her head to catch a last look at his.
"Ah, maybe you should put an upper limit on the time you spend napping, and just do all your sleep at once. It doesn't always work, but it avoids embarrassing situations." Shizuku advised. Well, she wasn't really in any position to, since he was the one who required sixteen hours of sleep. Not her.
Her tail was enough to worry about anyway.
"Well then, see you around." She said as she finally turned and left, the undulating of her tail carrying her out the same way she came in.
A meeting between two individuals vastly different from the norm. Neither knew the other even existed.
