THE GEAR

THE SUIT: Lana's one and only accessory is the suit she dons and seemingly never takes off. Fitted to her body perfectly, it looks and acts like a second skin. The fabric, an unknown material, is incredibly light and airy despite its dense appearance. No light catches the black, and the pink etchings glow of their own accord. Taking a sword to the fabric can tear it easily, hence the large cerulean cuffs that cover the areas that have been breached. Its flimsiness may make it seem unworthy of wear, but the suit has many life-saving tricks up its sleeve. This suit of hers took half a century to make, and its supernatural properties showcase the time and effort put into the piece rather beautifully.

SPIRITUAL RESISTANCE: Although the fabric provides no protection from sharp metals and other weapons of the sort, its true power lies in its ability to absorb and nullify attacks that consist of reiryoku and other spirit-based energy. The black fabric is designed to take any attack of this type and neutralize it completely. Kidou spells are absorbed by the black fabric which takes it, breaks it apart and disperses it across the surface of the material. The attack then merely acts as an annoyance, as the static that ripples throughout the suit can cause her nerves to respond somewhat sporadically. Weapons that have been enhanced with spiritual energy are also nullified when they strike against the cloth. The weapon itself still does damage but it loses the extra boost its spiritual energy originally gave it. The only time the fabric loses this amazing ability is when a piece of it tears off fully. The cerulean clasp sheathing her right thigh is hiding the complete tear that had been suffered in the area. Her right leg is exposed to attacks, and perceptive eyes may find this chink in her armor if they look closely enough.

STRENGTH DISPERSAL: Unlike most mod souls of similar design, Lana has been gifted with the ability to transfer her strength (originally found in her upper body alone) to the other, more lacking areas. The pink sketches glow brighter when the strength of her mod soul has migrated to a foreign area. Lana is only able to do this sort of thing with the suit, and can use it at any given time. Transferring her strength leaves the area it has left quite vulnerable, but only for a short amount of time. Charging a kick and then returning the strength to where it originally lays takes little to no time at all. Lana has truly become one with her suit, and can use its properties effortlessly.
