Abilties and otherwise

SWORDSMAN PRACTITIONER| Heavy reliance upon hand to hand combat has deteriorated the swordsmanship of Nathaniel. However, being that it's forged from his own soul, he's able to handle it fluidly and effortlessly in his hands, twirling it about his fingers delicately as if an extension of his own arm. When it comes to combat he's sub-par, unable to dual in terms of blades with those above him, the very idea thrown from his train of thought as if suicidal.

HAKUDA MASTER| As most rely on their own sword- a weapon forged from their very soul- he's found it to be uneeded, instead focusing on the thing most in Soul Society lack: Hakuda. Despite his slight frame, he's able to dish out a massive amount of punishment, cracking ribs or breaking bones with the slightest of hand movements. Little techniques are known to him, and even fewer he has yet to completely utilize. By controlling the amount of spiritual pressure he emits into each blow- something he has learned through extensive training to master as well- he's able to completely turn already strong attacks into something that would devastate the body of another. His specialization, and go to technique when not seeking to kill others, is to target the pressure points specifically, enforcing his attacks with reiatsu allows him to shutdown the reishi flow in others, not only paralyzing them but crippling them momentarily as well. He suspects at his level he's able to take down even the strongest of Captains who aren't trained in it's ways and can surely defend against even the strongest opponents.

EXPERT AGILITY| Nathaniel's speed is impressive, though he's far from mastered the concept that accompanies it. Instead he's on the level of most VCs and what you'd expect would be of him. His expertise instead is in that of being able to flex his body in nearly any way he chooses, so long as it's within' human means. Things such as reaching his leg up to form a near 180 degrees isn't a far cry, nor being able to fit in even the smallest of places.

HIGH SPIRITUAL POWER| Nathan's spiritual is impressive, especially one for his age and position. Using it he's able to contend with those of Captain level, and even intimidate many of those his own ranking. Unlike the flashy shinigami he associates himself with, whether it be within' his own division or others, Nathan always keeps his under the appearance that he either lacks it entirely, or is below what many would expect.

PERFECTED SPIRITUAL CONTROL| If there could be said one thing that Nathan has devoted himself too, it would be complete and utter control of his spiritual power. Since he first discovered he could control it, the man found himself fascinated by the idea. While most can control the outward flow of their reishi, Nathan discovered that, like a select few, he could control it internally as well. Through his training he had discovered that, through mere willpower, he could control the flow of it in any part of his body. Mastering this allowed him to enhance every bit of his physical aspects. From being able to hit with reishi infused fists- which, in turn, allowed him to immensely increase the damage- to forging an iron defense or even increasing his speed to match those of masters. While most known for his internal mastery, his outwards control- which, to be noted, is just as impressive- can hold it's own against even the strongest both Hueco Mundo and the Gotei 13 has to offer.

MASTER PERCEPTION| Like his Captain he has learned to rely on planning ahead- methodically manipulating the strings of others, their lives, and more to ft his needs- as well as being constantly aware of everything that happens around him from the smallest reflex to the slightest emotion. Everything he sees, Nathaniel takes into account. Planning, deciphering, and reacting accordingly. If something doesn't go his way, Nathaniel adapts in seconds, formulating and putting into actions new ideas. If you see through the first problem, well, chances are you're merely scratching at the surface of what he has planned for you.

KIDO PRACTITIONER| Controlling the flow of Reishi in his body has granted him the unique ability to fire Kido quicker than most, on par with even his own Captain in terms of speed, though not power. From any finger, or point in his hand, he's able to fire any kido he knows, provided he knows the incantation. As expected, training under his Taichou, he too has learned a great many spells of kid, though, not nearly as much or on the same par as his own.
