[div style="text-align:justify;"][font face="arial" size="3"]Zetsushi, quite literally meaning "Absolute Death", is Nathaniel's Zanpakuto. While in it's sealed form, Zetsu looks similar to that of a normal katana. The only difference being the color of the blade and hilt. that of which is covered in black bandages, not worn like one would expect while his blade too shares the same ebony effect, though, flakes of gold scatter itself among the metal, giving it a beautiful glow when under the effect of moonlight especially. The guard of his zanpakuto is diamond shaped, lined on the edges with a gold trim. Using the release command, "Render Judgement," Nathaniel's zanpakuto slowly dissipates like sand in the breeze. The effect of which takes notice immediately, a cool sensation sweeping over ones body as the gas like aroma enters through any opening it can, being the pores, mouth, nose, etc. Aside from said feeling, it's otherwise undetectable. Within' seconds the effects begin to take hold, gradually manipulating and distorting ones mind and senses. Truly living up to it's name, not many that have come under the blade have made it back. [Do note anything that says 'temporary' is all determined by the class of the opponent he is facing. Most are one, if not at the very most, two posts maximum.]

[ul type="none"][li]絶病 [b][font color="black"]❝Zetsubyou❞[/font][/b] Zetsubyou(絶病, True Despair) is probably one of the more basic techniques Zetsushi offers, yet one of the more deadlier, if not just for the trickery it provides. Calling upon this ability allows Nathaniel manipulate the gas in his opponents mind to create a version of himself, one that appears directly behind his enemy and is able to seemingly inflict damage upon them. Being a full sensory illusion, the other Nathaniel is able to be fully touched, seen, heard, etc. The only way to dispel the illusion is the death of either Nathaniel or their own death.0.3

[ul type="none"][li]遅[b] [font color="black"]❝Chi❞[/font][/b] Chi (遅, Slow), allows Nathaniel to effectively 'slow time' in the minds of those under the effect of his drug. In retrospect it appears as if the brain itself has nearly shut down. Though no lasting effects happen- as the result is only temporary- upon the vital organ, each of the senses are effectively delayed. By result of this, reaction time itself is nearly obsolete, the time it takes for the brain to send a signal to any muscle feeling like hours.[/li][/ul]
[ul type="none"][li]放棄 [b][font color="black"]❝Houki❞[/font][/b] Houki (放棄, Relinquish) is an ability that cuts off all of the senses of his opponent for a short time. Whether it be sight, smell, touch, etc. Doing so implants a deep rooted fear in the victim- something close to isolation or despair- at having their entire notion of awareness being stripped from them. While under this effect they are able to move their body naturally, utilizing their speed and strength yet unaware of whether or not their body is actually responding to them. Think of a body part that has fallen asleep and the difficulty that comes with being able to move or do activities with it. [/li][/ul]

Residing deep within' the blade itself is the very thing he calls onto for power- the part of his soul that's irreplaceable- the female spirit [a href="http://i.imgur.com/Xg86tGE.png"]Zetsushi[/a]. Standing at an imposing height of five feet eleven inches, she appears to be on equal footing with the shinigami, at least in terms of height. Her eyes are pools of vermilion in hue, though a jet black feline like iris comprises the center. At all times she stands composed and dignified, a military or noble like cloak strewn about her, falling to knee level effortlessly. Beneath it is traditional wear of a woman posed for combat at all times, least of all, coming to a pair of knee high boots. Like Nathaniel her hair is raven, though of a more faded color and styled in the sort of a ponytail, bangs centering against her forehead while her locks flow freely with any rogue breeze. Zetsushi is the epitome of beauty, yet within' her steel gaze you would find the cold gaze of one who knows she is above you, and isn't afraid to prove it.

Do not take her looks for merely aesthetics either. Zetsu is a woman that values very little outside of respect and resolve. Should you displease her- a feat Nathaniel does it best to avoid for good reason- she will chastise you without blinking an eyelash. Many have considered herself shy as she does not reveal her true Zanapakuto form often. It's however completely the opposite. Her release call being 'Render Judgement' its exactly what she does. Should her judgement befit you to be underneath her, then you are not fit to view her regal form; you're lucky to even be fit enough to die by it. Do not take her to be a woman with an icy heart, however. Despite her extraordinary means she does in fact view Nathaniel as one she must watch over, and like so, has tendencies where she deems it necessary to mother him. Her conviction is not so great she would steer away the very boy who's soul she too is part of. Their understanding of one another, like you'd expect, is phenomenal. His desire to take vengeance is only dwarfed by hers: to see his desires through to the bitter end.

Like one would expect it is a carbon copy of the most volatile place known to man: space. In the horizon planets and celestial objects that make up their small and worthless solar system are visible. Beneath their feet is something akin to a mirror, incredibly durable and impossible to scathe in any way. Clinging to this endless reflective surface is a violet mist or fog. The true nature of this mist is similar to that of his own Shikai, though here in the inner world, it's actually noticeable. Zetsushi is often found randomly- never one to do things the easy way, mind you- gazing at the night sky above. In response to his emotions at the time, the sky itself could be a mixture of happenings from a meteor storm when angry, or a lone comet flying by when he is saddened and everything in-between. Everything that is seen or heard that can manipulated in some way by Zetsushi, who in turn, is able to summon forth pillars from the ground or control the flow of the planets that surround them. It is here Nathaniel met his true beginning, and he suspects, will meet his end as well.[/div]
