MODERATE SPIRITUAL POWER| Winter’s spiritual power, silver in color, is comparable to a typical hollow or shinigami. It feels desperate when released, and is highly unstable. 

EXPERT HAND-TO-HAND| Being a former military man, Winter is an expert in close-quarters-combat. He is proficient in krav maga and brazilian jujutsu, and is extremely strong and fast. Due to his spiritual power, while in shinigami form, he is able to take down even masters of martial arts. 

EXPERT WEAPONS USE| Being a former military man, Winter is an expert at various weapons. Guns, artillery, explosives, and knifes are his forte. Give him any of those and he can kill a man seven different ways before he hits the ground. 

PRACTITIONER SWORDSMANSHIP| Despite his expert weapon use, Winter is not the best when it comes to wielding the katana he gains in shinigami form. He has studied the basics of swordplay, but is not well versed in its use. If anything, he’d rather bludgeon a person with his fists, stab them with a knife, or shoot them with a gun. 

NOVICE SPIRITUAL CONTROL| Winter’s control over his spiritual powers is extremely unwieldy. He doesn’t properly understand the mechanics of the soul, and has no teacher to show him how to wield his power. It often explodes from him when he’s angry, and it's only through meditation techniques is he able to keep from exhausting his powers in day to day life. 

UNCONTROLLED STRENGTH| With such a lack of control over his spiritual power, Winter’s physical strength is extremely unwieldy. During a fight he flirts between as strong as his human self, to being able to bunch holes through concrete and bending steel beams. The strongest feat he’s been able to manage is lifting a massive boulder that weighed multiple tons, and that was out of sheer desperation. 

MASTERFUL PERCEPTION| Having been a green beret, Winter is extremely perceptive. Even with his own lack of control over spiritual powers, he can sense other souls extremely easily. Sleights of hand do not escape his eyes, and most illusions and trickery end up failing against him, even if they are effective at first. 

EXPERT STRATEGIST| Winter is extremely adept at strategy. He is well versed in long histories of warfare, and has studied various strategies for almost every situation. Considered a natural genius, he’s exceeded the abilities of most, and is capable of creating plans within plans, even during the height of battle. 

TECHNIQUES 

ZANPAKUTOU SUMMONING| Winter is capable of summoning a katana at will. This is the asauchi of the shinigami who gave him his powers, and it is stored within his soul. Despite his low spiritual control, he has learned the trick to summoning this sword when needed. It is invisible unless seen with someone who can view spirits or that has spiritual power.
