Fujiwara Kirin

BACKGROUND ON THE FUJIWARA:
The Fujiwara are an ancient family that has lived and thrived in Japan for generations. During the staple of time that they've been around, their militant mindset in terms of government, as well as religion and their belief in the supernatural, has become quite revered by their society. The Fujiwara are born with the capability of communicating, interacting, and influencing their own spiritual energy, as well as the spiritual energy of other entities in their environment.

Like most spiritually aware beings, the Fujiwara are capable of 'channeling' their reiryoku so that it can manifest into the any of the 'arts' they use to intermingle with spirits. Channeling their reiryoku until it obtains a 'physical' form that is competent enough interact with things such as Hollows, Plus, or Shinigami themselves. Due to the fact that the Fujiwara use their own reiryoku to utilize their abilities, only someone with a hefty capacity can really use their powers actively.

SPIRITUAL ENERGY RANK: GREAT
Born on the holy day, Kirin was blessed with a naturally grand pool of spiritual energy. As such, he is able to 'release' copious amounts of his reiatsu and intimidate and makes most spirits he interacts with frantic--albeit completely genuine terror at times. It is said that his reiatsu becomes visible at times, and is composed in the form of a thousand-armed Kannon radiating a piercing white aura of light. This is something that he has become competent at, and as such, can do in a moments notice. This phenomenon is akin to the exerting of one's blood lust that veteran warriors do during battle. Kirin has been capable of utilizing his talents since he was about three years old, which, soon after, is when he began his official training under his grandfather Yomaku.

WEAPON USE: NOVICE
This is an area of expertise in which Kirin never really had any interest in. Although, he has learned how to use a katana, he has not acquired any level of competency in it. It is likely that he never will, either.

HAND-TO-HAND/STAMINA: EXPERT

The Fujiwara use a type of Martial Arts that they call "God's Hand," which is a style of Martial Arts that was created after the first half-Chinese Fujiwara was born. Essentially, the Fujiwara who learn this style learn an advanced and refined version of Wing Chun and Karate. This style is forged around a variety of fluent, fast strikes, great defensive maneuvers, which utilize reiryoku to harm their opponents. This style is effective against humans and spiritual beings. Due to his great physical stamina, and spiritual prowess, as well as his expertise with his hand-to-hand combat, he is capable of fighting many opponents at once. He is also capable of fighting for extended time periods before tiring.

MOBILITY/AGILITY STAMINA: MASTER
The Fujiwara have what they call "Foot Techniques" which are what they use to move during combat with spirits, as well as do things such as but not limited to: drastically increase one's speed, performing evasive maneuvers via foot, 'walking on air', and running up walls. This is all done by channeling their reiryoku in a variety of ways, each of which deal with their feet in some manner or another. Kirin, after eight years of training, was able to completely master each Foot Technique afforded to him. He has been said to be able to move at almost blinding speeds, which were at ties difficult for his kinsmen to follow. Beside his great speed, his stamina is also something that has been admired.

SPIRITUAL CONTROL: MASTER
The Fujiwara have what they call "Spirit Arts" which are what they use to manipulate reiryoku. In his years of training, Kirin has been able to master his usage within this branch of abilities. He is capable of both suppressing and completely hiding his great spirit energy from others, although this is something he doesn't normally do. More than likely, he has at least 50% of his presence exerted at all times. Depending on the situation, he will release more massive amounts of his power.

Now a master of the Fujiwara clan's "Spirit Arts," Kirin is capable of manifesting his reiryoku into weapons which are formed around his body. An example of this is the 'Spirit Art: Totsuka no Tsurugi,' which is a trademark ability of his where he channels and compresses his reiryoku into a long sword as an extension of his hand. Another ability he is 'Spirit Art: Regeneration,' which is simply a A-classed technique which allows Kirin to heal almost any wound that he might receive. The time it take for him to heal varies on how much damage he is healing, and how much reiryoku he uses.

PERCEPTION: PRACTITIONER
The Fujiwara have what they call "Spirit Sensing Arts" which uses each of the five senses in some way or form so that they can perceive the presence of other spiritual beings. In Kirin's case, he uses an Eye Technique which allows him to literally see the reiryoku of others, even in an inactive state. He is talented enough that he can differentiate between the different colors in which people's reiryoku is presented. Even if the person is hiding their reiatsu, he is still able to see their actual energy as long as they are within 50 meters of him.
