VATICAN CITY
SKY ABOVE THE NIGHTLY SETTLEMENT
Ville floated up in the air close to Wolfgang, condensed Reishi particles below her feet allowing her to stand. The time he'd spent protected by Sankt Zwinger and the explosion of the building had bridged a long enough duration for Ville's spiritual abilities to return. Otherwise she would've fallen into the concrete tomb, victim of her own defiance.
"Your Blut wasn't enough for that, was it?" the mortal knight observed, taking a bit of pride in her own work. Despite having been outclassed by his abiliity, she'd managed to put up enough of a fight to buy herself time. Time she needed to notify the other fighters of the Vatican and the time to recover from his attacks, even though it seemed that his continued slashing had left her in a bruised state.
Blood was dripping down her torn cloak and arm, her body not quite as flawless as it had been when she'd stepped out of the shower at the beginning of their quarrel. It seemed she'd have to do with an injured side. Was fighting even possibly within such a state? For a Quincy, it was.
"Ransoutengai," Ville exclaimed, the strands of Reishi that surrounded her body forging themselves into a net across her skin. First of all, they created an attire fit for battle. As if a tailor, she transformed her Reishi silk into the outfit she'd been lacking all this time. Sheathing her thin sword by her side, the now uniformed knight looked at her injured arm. It was torn, held up only the bones which had not yet been shattered.
Steel wrapped around that part of her body too, forming a glove-like attire spanning from her finger-tips to her shoulder. Her wounds were not only sealed, she'd also equipped her arm with an armour more durable than merely woven strands. Even though Wolfang had violated the spiritual control of her arm, she now controlled it with her brain, relying on the Quincy technique at her command.
"I have a song for you, two, Wolfgang. Listen well, before you lose your mind about how much time you have left to kill me," she growled, extending both of her arms to the sides, like a director at the start of a concert.
"Kirchenlied: Kreuzgang. Zweite Strophe: Unschuldshand.." Almost wiggling her fingers, it seemed she controlled one strand with each slight motion. Pulled by her ghostly wires, the Seele Schneiders she had used for Sternenmeer emerged from the building and began to surround Wolfgang like a pack of wolves.
While he was still fighting only one knight, she was attacking him with seven blades at once. Once again, from all directions... Only now, they would slash their blades of curving light against his defenses, abusing every opening mercilessly, all the while Ville stood at a distance, satisfied with orchestrating the ranged assault. Eyes trained upon his every twist to learn the way he moved.
