SPIRITUAL POWER [GREAT] Aldo descends from a pureblood Quincy clan which has produced exceptional fighters over its many years of existence. Thus it comes as little surprise that he was gifted with significant spiritual power. Yet Aldo is strongest Quincy the Scaglietti have seen for many generations. Even among his peers at the Order, there are few who possess his level of spiritual power. His years of harsh training in the Order has only aided the growth of his impressive latent abilities. Aldo's current level is similar to that of the more elite captains among the Gotei thirteen though still not at the level of Hueco Mundo's Espada. Aldo's reiatsu is similar to the man himself, and that is to say it is capricious. There are times when it flows like a calm river and other times when it is unbearably oppressive. SPIRITUAL CONTROL [EXPERT] The Knight-Commander has relatively good control over Reishi and his own spiritual presence. He can gather, absorb, and manipulate Reishi at a decently proficient level. Unfortunately Aldo has never much cared to try and perfect this particular area of his skills. He can mask his presence from weaker enemies but he's unlikely to fool those of similar or greater skill. Aldo's personality and fighting style are often in great contrast to the concept of remaining undetected. There may be a time in the future where he will feel the need to improve this skill but such a situation has not yet arisen. MELEE WEAPONS [MASTERED] While melee weapons are not unheard of within the Quincy, it is rare for a Quincy to reach Aldo's level of proficiency. Aldo is a master of swordplay and can fight to great effectiveness with either one or two blades. He is famous among the Quincy for his prowess when it comes to fighting with Seele Schneiders, his weapon of choice. Aldo's fighting style revolves around using multiple Seele Schneiders, often discarding them and then picking them up again in tandem with his other attacks. He can generally use most standard melee weapons to an impressive level of effectiveness. RANGED WEAPONS [PRACTITIONER] Aldo's ability to use a bow is rather lacking, much to the embarrassment of his fellow Quincy. Most consider it a great waste since his spirit weapon is in fact a bow. He can fire spirit arrows with decent accuracy but not at the level that has come to be expected of a Quincy. The only one exception to his mediocrity is when he fires Seele Schneiders. His ability to hit high moving targets is still questionable but he often fires the Quincy weapons to various static areas to set up traps and make use of various techniques such as Sprenger. AGILITY [MASTERED] There are few among the Order who can match Aldo's nearly unfathomable speed. Aldo's ability to wield a blade along with his immense speed, make for an extremely deadly combination. His Hirenkyaku has been honed to an extremely high level which makes him a difficult opponent to pin down. Of course this does not only mean he moves rather fast but his movements are precise and efficient. It is easy to tire oneself out without understanding how to fully utilize a technique. Aldo utilizes his incredible speed to both confuse his enemies and set up various traps. PERCEPTION [MASTERED] His ability to move quickly and his mastery of the blade are impressive but they are not what make Aldo a truly dangerous combatant. What ensures his success in battle is his ability to process and react to what is around him. He has a truly unique understanding of his own surroundings and his creativity allows him to manipulate a fight to his advantage. Even though he is relatively young, Aldo has seen more than his fair share of combat. His experienced combined with his innate ability to read another person allow him to make rapid and effective judgments in the heat of battle. Aldo's casual nature covers up his natural and often devious intellect. HAND-TO-HAND [NOVICE] The Quincy is almost next to useless without some sort of weapon in his hand. He finds bare-fist fighting to be rather inelegant which is ironic considering how reckless he can be sometimes. If one where to get into close-range combat with Aldo and he is without a weapon, he will undoubtedly try to flee or at the very least create some distance. He could probably do some manner of damage to an opponent of much lower skill but otherwise he would be screwed. |
