There was nothing left for Take to do besides report to the Soutaicho personally. Since his transfer he’d spent most of his time mentally preparing for the new responsibilities, more-so politics than hunting criminals and killing traitors. Usually a Fukutaicho would have approached the Taicho on the same day, but Take had been involved in duties of the stealth force still, he was determined to keep his position among the shadows while serving this Soutaicho., however Take found himself curious of how the Soutaicho would take this after all she was a peace keeper.
The words of his father Jukan Musashi wakes him up from those thoughts, after all there is nothing he can do besides what he is capable of doing, and Take felt he was more than capable to protect and serve the Soutaicho. “Yosh.” He’d say under his breath while turning down the corridor which would lead him to the office of the commander.
Takehiko took the rumors of the Soutaicho being a traditionalist to heart and decided to wear his uniform un-altered. The only alters he ever made was removing the upper layer as to allow him more freedom. Regardless of uniform Takehiko was a shinigami who’d never remove his Zanpakuto from his side, and even on this day the black handle raised up from his obi, placing the tip of the handle just over his abs. Black in color his Saya was flipped tachi-style and letting its slick shine reflect off the floor boards below.
There appeared to be two guards at the door whom would not turn to face him until he stood directly in front of the door. Take’s violet hues would inspect the two members of the guard force, taking their very souls in before he’d lightly bow his head letting the long red ponytail roll over his shoulders nearly covering the handle of his trusted blade; Reiji Maigo.
”Akiyama, Takehiko reporting for duty, Soutaichio-dono may I enter?”
Giving the guards no time to ask for him, Take made the first move while standing proudly in the middle of the hallway no longer looking at the two, he chose to stare at the door as if he was looking into the eyes of the captain himself.
