Left foot, right foot, left foot, right foot, left foot-- Walking. Those padded feet of creamy fur pressed themselves with humble rhythm against the monochrome sands of Tierras Blancas. That gracious, felid arrancar was donning his usual garb of white, its fabrics relatively generous in its coverage. The lack there of that resulted in the liberation of his arms was something, at that moment, Gato was making use of. The rubbing of his right arm, perhaps sampling the luscious feeling his fur provided for himself, was made possible to due the complete absence of sleeves. His attire at least shared the same, bland, white colour scheme a lot of the others of his species shared; but it did not possess quite the same look.
To some degree, it kind of bothered him. There was that slight, deep and burbling desire to be accepted and his being far from human in appearance only exaggerated his non-standard clothing. Such thoughts made him feel a tad-bit silly--
EXPLOSION! overpowerin'...
An abrupt eruption of bleached grain shot skyward just ahead of him. His strides ceased and an obvious start raced through him. If there had been a ceiling overhead, his claws might have tethered him to it. What caused it? Some brand of hollow with an eel-like body and a large mouth brandishing wondrously well-kept lines of teeth and undeniably, voluptuous lips. They were pearly white and forged the most endearing of grins.
"...Oh. Hey, Derth." A casual and slightly lethargic wave was made.
"Hey, Gato! What chu doin' out here? You need a lift er somethin'?" It was not a difficult thing to get on somebody's goodside for the likes of Gato. Often did he emit something that just made others feel at ease and his presence? It didn't exist. There was nothing there to intimidate anybody the majority of the time.
"Um - no, that's alright. I'm just here for a bit of..." He paused as if trying to find the right words. "Arts and crafts?" He'd just gotten to the desert, actually, and had yet to venture any great length into it.
"Arts and crafts?" he echoed with a flux of snort and chortle. Just then, however, something appeared to have spooked the beast. Upon noticing the twinge in those lips of his, Gato elevated a brow to expression his puzzlement. "Well, I'll leave y' to it. I'll be around!" And that short exchange was over. The large, snake-like creature burrowed back into the desert sands and disappeared, leaving Gato there to his own devices.
