CRASHING IN AND breaking you to bits |
The action was swift enough that it took a moment to realize the blade was there. When she looked down only with her eyes, her mind met confusion, unsure of when the sword arrived. From past experiences, she grudgingly knew this wasn't a sword she could compete with. Difficult to penetrate as her Hierro may have been, against a blade like this it would merely resemble butter. Swallowing pent up saliva, she acknowledged the need to exercise caution when such a blade was positioned right at her neck. What is the meaning of this?
When she listened to his words, there was wisdom within them; the wisdom was undeniable, which only served to provide fuel for her undying curiosity. This man was an enigma. From what she could tell, he seemed to know something that anyone could tell she was interested in, and perhaps that was the protective wedge between her well-being and being utterly decimated. Flecks of alarm entered her sanguine eyes as she felt her head lifted by the elevated blade.
There it was. He spoke of something she desired, but, as everything good had its respective shadow, this, too, seemed to have a price. Courtesy of her nature, regardless of what the price was she was sure she could fulfill it - but how could she make such an assumption without first hearing it?
"I certainly want to, Primera. As I said, such a desire is embedded in my very being," she wove her words, eyes appearing to be additionally mindful of the weapon at her throat.
"What is this price you speak of?"
