千軍鉄壁「φάλαγξ」 [Sengun Teppeki "Phalanx" | Iron Wall of a Thousand Generals | Phalanx]: Phalanx is a Defensive Kidō that isn't simply a sustained barrier, but a multi-layered barrier that continuously refreshes itself as means of sustenance, making it nearly impenetrable. This is similar to a dense formation of heavy infantry that marches as one to increase the group's defensive power. It appears as a layer created out of a multitude of seemingly vibrating, transparent (but not invisible) hexagonal barriers.
Even if the initial, frontal barrier falters, the one behind would simply replace it, to be continued ad infinitum. The barriers are in constant motion within set boundaries, not necessarily in front of oneself. In order to penetrate it, one would have to concentrate an extremely powerful attack into a single tiny point anywhere on the barrier. This would have to be a stabbing attack, as a slash would distribute power over too much space. Even after penetration, the surrounding layers will immediately move to cover the hole, and the missing layers will eventually be refreshed, making this barrier-type Kidō a self-regenerating barrier.
Incantation: 集え、兵士達!十兵・百兵・千兵・万兵・十万兵・陣形を整え前を進め! [Tsudoe, Heishi-tachi! Jūbei Mohei Chihei Manpei Jūmanhei Jinkei o totonoe mae o susume! | Gather, soldiers! Ten Soldiers Hundred Soldiers Thousand Soldiers Ten Thousand Soldiers Hundred Thousand Soldiers assume formation and march onward!]
双道:天来 [Sōdō: Tenrai | Twin Way: Heaven's Approach]: Heaven's Approach is an offensive, extreme long-range Kidō combination that requires two people. The first person uses a modified Bakudō #58 Kakushitsuijaku to target an enemy from far away. When the target is located, the first person will then act as a "Satellite" to track the enemy, while the second person channels an offensive Kidō of desired strength through the "Satellite", creating a long-range sniping attack which can be used even behind walls and within enclosed spaces. The attack will be generated above the enemy and crash into the target.
風乗り [Kazenori | Wind Surfing]: A Kidō technique created using data from Tomitsuka Shizuku's fish tail. By directing Kidō energy to the feet, one creates an aerodynamic layer that "conducts" reishi. This allows the user to hover in the air, and perform flash steps by simply leaning in that direction. This dramatically improves one's agility, as they are in a constant state of high-speed movement that is related to the flash step.
白断結壁:密集陣形 [Hakūdan Keppeki: Misshū Jinkei | White Severing Boundary Wall: Cluster Formation]: An improved version of the Hakūdan Keppeki using the theory utilized by Sengun Teppeki (Phalanx). The new wall, made of clusters of transparent, rectangular panels now has means of infinite sustenance, and can also be fired at an enemy Quincy as a big block of high-speed barriers near-immune to reishi manipulation. A true multi-purpose anti-Quincy weapon.
毒蜂 [Dokubachi | Poison Bees]: An assassination Kidō created from a theory. Using a Kidō technique similar to the various others which force the target unconscious, Poison Bees uses Kidō energies to overload the target's sense of pain to near infinity, to the point they will die with a simple prick of a pin. Of course, those who know how to invoke the counter-Kidō energies (can be substituted with overly large amounts of spiritual pressure) or have means of sealing off their sense of pain, Poison Bees is useless.
千刀一体 [Sentō Ittai | Thousand Blades in One Body]: A Kidō that works similarly to Hadō #12 Fushibi in that it gives a targeted object a trait. Sentō Ittai turns the object into a vibrating sword by giving it a trait that amplifies surrounding sounds within the blade's structure to create vibration. This drastically increases cutting power, but the blade now emits ultrasonic waves as a result of the drastic amplification of sounds, so it can be deafening to those with sensitive ears.
音速一貫 [Onsoku Ikkan | One Kan at Sonic Speed]: A "Coilgun" style Kidō created by studying Tsuzuri Raiden, Hainawa and Gochūtekkan. By creating "electromagnetic coils" using a rope similar to Hainawa and passing a strong electric current through it, the necessary coils are created which can accelerate a single iron pillar to Mach 3 speeds. However, going so fast disintegrates the pillar over a short period, making sniping-range attacks impossible despite implications of this ability.

Kidō-Operated Firearm: Linear Spiriton Accelerator: The KOF Linear Spiriton Accelerator, or simply the KOF is the first reishi munitions non-zanpakutō firearm and a part of a prototype series. Designed to arm Shinigami who may not have the strongest spiritual power, the KOF is proven to possess enough stopping power to take out two Menos Grande standing in a line with a single shot, provided the Shinigami is not too intimidated to pull the trigger.
It is essentially a Coilgun, and works by channelling spiritual energy into the weapon and pulling the trigger. Inside is an electrical conductor and a converter which changes the spiritual energy into a Kidō similar to an electrical current. Passing this current through the conductor material it goes through a circuit in the firearm, creating electromagnets necessary to accelerate an explosive bullet of reishi. When charging, rings of blue-yellow energy generate to form a "barrel", through which the bullet will then pass while gaining acceleration and spin, leaving the firearm at Mach-1 speeds.
The KOF is magazine-fed, carrying four bullets in each cartridge. It is a long-range weapon with a 300 meter effective range and 600 meter maximum range.
Kidō-Amplification Firearm: Byakurai Rifle: The KAF White Lightning Rifle, jokingly dubbed the "Byakuraifle" is a sniping range weapon that fires an incredibly strengthened version of the well-known Kidō: The Way of Destruction Number Four. It is a "Bolt Action" rifle which seemingly has no trigger to pull; the real trigger is the user manually channelling the actual Hadō #4: Byakurai into the weapon.
It was created by studying Hadō #4: Byakurai (obviously), #11: Tsuzuri Raiden, #54: Haien and #63, Raikōhō. It works by taking the Byakurai fired by the user and using an amplifier unit (the contents of it is a trade secret) to compress and amplify it massively, resulting in a purplish-white bolt that can leave a smoking hole straight through a target's head. It's power resembles a Kidō in the 70s. There are five amplifier units in total which cycle through to the next after each shot while the previous one cools down. Continuous usage without break can cause overheating and melt the rifle, so caution is advised.
The Byakuraifle's maximum range is approximately 2.5 kilometres. It is outfitted with an adjustable scope that can magnify targets for better target discrimination. However, it does not increase spiritual pressure sensing abilities, so one would generally be unable to sense the spiritual pressure of a target so far away.
Kidō-Diffraction Firearm: Sixfold Light Rail (六方欄光): The KDF Ropporankō is a prototype firearm that releases a Kidō out of a compacted shell when the trigger is pulled. While it only expends a single slug each shot, it produces multiple thick rails of orange light when fired. The Ropporankō has six barrels from which the projectiles are released. The orange light is a compressed Kidō with an average power around the upper 70's which bursts into a flame that seemingly dissolves the struck material into particles of orange light.
The Ropporankō is often called a Kidō shotgun, despite it's mechanics being slightly different: A true shotgun fires a slug which splits upon leaving the barrel. The Ropporankō's munitions is split inside the weapon. This is done using a similar process to the Bakudō #62's Hyapporankan to diffract the light then amplify the split projectiles through the user's spiritual energy in order to create the most powerful scattered blast possible. When the trigger is pulled, the compressed Kidō is released from the shell, split by a diffraction mechanism inside the weapon into six and channels them into the six barrels, where it is amplified through the user's spiritual energy and pressure before it finally leaves the barrel. As such, the power of each blast is not consistent, but it is generally around the upper 70's. With experience and correct handling, it can reach as high as the lower 80's.
The shell itself was created by studying the Kidō: Bakudō #39 Enkōsen, #73 Tozanshō, Hadō #12 Fushibi, #31 Shakkahō, #32 Ōkasen and #54 Haien. The diffraction mechanism was built by studying the two Bakudō: #61 Rikujōkōrō and #62 Hyapporankan.
The Ropporankō has an effective range of 90 meters and a maximum range of 150 meters. It can be loaded with a maximum of eight cartridges at any time. There are lines of light on the gun which glow the colour of the wielder's spiritual pressure, but it will always give off a bright flash of orange whenever fired. The lines are proof that the weapon is working, and will only turn off when it is no longer in contact with a user's hands.
Even if the initial, frontal barrier falters, the one behind would simply replace it, to be continued ad infinitum. The barriers are in constant motion within set boundaries, not necessarily in front of oneself. - 衝突「κροῦσις」 [Shōtotsu "Krousis" | Crash/Collision]: The Phalanx is such a powerful defense that it works as an offense. Accelerating the movement of the barriers, an entire armada of charging barriers is sent crashing into the target. It can take the form of a moving wall, as a layer applied to a person's body to increase the strength of the impact, or fired like a projectile. If the Defensive version is used first, Krousis will take one of the panels and shoot it out as a powerful projectile.
