GREAT SPIRITUAL POWER: Most Shinigami or Souls isn’t as lucky as En’ei, who was born as the reincarnation of a Water-based nature spirit, giving him a great amount of spiritual power since birth. Though, with age and maturity, he was able to control the tremendous amount of power that had coursed through his body, enabling him to do great things and giving him great features. Because of his great spiritual power, he also as greatly enhanced endurance and durability, enabling him to take plenty devastating hits and keep going on for long drawn out battles. The control he has over his reiatsu is potent enough that he is able to strike some fear in those who have a level below his own and even greater fear along with paralysis in those two levels under and further.
PERFECTED SWORDSMANSHIP: Having trained with the sword ever since he was a child, throughout his entire life, En’ei had dedicated himself to mastering his sword art and of course with a natural talent for it, it even exceeds the norms for what is considered to be a master of it. En’ei is so proficient with his swordsmanship that he could combat certain opponents with his Soul Cutter is still in his sealed state Shikai or Bankai. His perfected art is what makes him seem God-like, at least in this particular area, having yet to lose a duel or any sort of pure swordsmanship bout. It is people like En’ei who pushes along the meaning of greatness, though some consider his skill to be light-years above what “greatness” is considered to be. With a single wave of his sword and he is practically cutting through almost anything with the slightest of ease with his blade.
- HITOTSUME - NADEGIRI (THE FIRST - KILLING STROKE): Despite possessing many different kinds of Zanjutsu techniques as someone who has perfected the art of swordsmanship, there is always one particular technique that the person could always rely upon, and for En’ei, that technique is Nadegiri. Though the technique is very basic and easy to learn, there is probably no one within the entirety of the Seireitei that could perform this technique with the proficiency that he can. it is his bread and butter, and with this feat alone, en’ei has been known to strike down several opponents of varying sizes and defense with a single, undetectable, precise stroke.
HOHŌ EXPERT: The same goes for his skill in Hohō as it does for his Zanjutsu skill, except that it isn’t as perfected as it. With many years under his belt, En’ei’s Hohō is trained to the point where he could also keep up with a captain Shinigami to an extent, but due to his excessive training in Zanjutsu and Hohō, it has left his other skills, such as Hakuda and Kidō to suffer dreadfully. en’ei only possesses the most basic level of skills in either art.
EXPERT SPIRITUAL CONTROL: En'ei's spiritual control skills are on the same level as those of the same rank and possesses similar abilities and features which they are also able to perform.
PERCEPTION EXPERT: En'ei's perception skills are on the same level as those of the same perception rank and possesses similar abilities and features which they are also able to perform.
KIDŌ NOVICE: En'ei's skill in Kidō is at the bare minimum due to putting all his time and effort into mastering his Zanjutsu skills and Hohō.
HAKUDA NOVICE: En'ei's skill in Hakuda is at the bare minimum due to putting all his time and effort into mastering his Zanjutsu skills and Hohō.[blockquote][div align="justify"]GREAT SPIRITUAL POWER: Most Shinigami or Souls isn’t as lucky as En’ei, who was born as the reincarnation of a Water-based nature spirit, giving him a great amount of spiritual power since birth. ZANPAKUTŌ NAME: Sokonashi no Hyōtan (Bottomless Gourd)
ZANPAKUTŌ FORM: Typically like most other Soul Cutters in their sealed state, Sokonashi no Hyōtan is the same as others in all dimensions, though it does have one difference— the sword appears to be a bit worn, as if the wielder was a violent killer who never sharpened his blade. The same had went for the guard and handle of the blade, though tattered and ruined, the handle is tapped in a navy blue fabric, and upon the golden worn guard is entrusted in English “never knows best.” As if the Soul Cutter was giving a hint to what kind of person it was to his master.
ZANPAKUTŌ SPIRIT FORM: Sokonashi no Hyōtan takes the form an ethereal man sporting Samurai armor with wings (that have hands), a Tengu mask, and within his left hand he holds a gourd. The form of the man doesn’t look as if he is stable, rather he appears as if made of some sort of liquid, yet had a semi-solid form, and wreaks of the scent of sake. Although he is transparent as well, one could still see the color in his appearance; bright red Tengu mask and same color tapings wrapped upon his katana handles held by either wing, his armor is primarily white, with different shades of various reds and blues thrown into it. The world of Sokonashi no Hyōtan appears to be a peaceful and beautiful place where he can relax and drink sake to his heart’s content. He is surrounded by various mountains and waterfalls of sake, along with a vast amount of barrels filled to the brim with sake scattered all over the place. When En’ei comes to meet with Sokonashi no Hyōtan, he must first drink from the gigantic sake bowl that he claims to use for celebrations every time his master/nakama visits him in his world.
RELEASE PHRASE:“Never run dry, Sokonashi no Hyōtan . . .”
SHIKAI FORM: Once En’ei says the incantation for his Soul Cutter to release its true form, the blade of the sword will convert to reishi and run back into the guard as if the blade had been disintegrating. The reishi would then cover the guard and handle of the blade, converting it into a decent sized dark brown gourd that could fit comfortably into the users hand, with a red (darker than the color of the original handle tapping) band around it. The gourd is half way full with sake, though at the same time it the gourd is bottomless and has an infinity amount of sake within it. It is probably one of the more strange Shikai appearances, even when En’ei saw it himself first he wasn’t too pleased with its appearance, but that all changed when he learned what it could do.
- SAKEGARI NO TACHI: The primary use of Sakegari no Tachi is to allow the user to manipulate and control the liquid within the gourd that they wield, converting it into a sword and using it for combat. The sword isn’t like your other typical blade, it is highly pressurized volume of sake (though it acts like water), and focused to create a blade to cut through whatever (obvious exaggeration, dependent on user swordsman skills) is in its path. But, the real uniqueness of it is that the user doesn’t have to “cut” with the blade, they could simply use the force of the sake to push an opponent(s) back, in addition with using it’s secondary ability. Due to the blade being made of sake, it can bypass normal blades (when it isn’t in its attack mode) because the user is freely able to manipulate the sake to move however the user wishes it to. The user is able to use various sizes and widths of the blade as he so desires, but the blade cannot extend more than ten meters away from him. The blade can extend out at very high speeds due to the pressure at which the user chooses for it to shoot out, making it a good weapon to use at close combat and for assassinations.
- SAKE NO KAGAMI: This feature is much like that of Sakegari no Tachi, the only difference is that is takes the form of a mirror-like shield, rather than a sword. The usage for the shield is to primarily block projectile based attack from Soul Cutters or Kidō, though it isn’t a really good defense for thing, its strong suit is that the user has an infinite supply of sake to push them back and throw them off course. It treats projectiles as if they are water landing upon a mirror, allowing the user to deflect them as he would move the shield about (i.e. it doesn’t automatically deflect attacks, the user has to move his shield to another direction fling it off). The shield offers zero defense toward physical attacks of any level, it can be cut through, punched through, kicked, etc— though it can push back due to the high volume of sake and it’s secondary ability really comes in play then. The maximum length the shield can extend is ten meters from the user, and the shield is only ten meters in diameter in size.
- JIGOKU NO YŌNA CHŪDOKU: This is the secondary ability for the Sakegari no Tachi and the Sake no Kagami— whenever something (Soul Cutters) or someone (Shinigami, Hollows, Quincies, etc) comes into physical combat with the sake whether it is because a cut (the quickest way) or soaked in sake (slowest way, sunk into pores or scent), they will be induced into an extreme intoxication. Jigoku no Yōna Chūdoku, while this ability in no shape or form outright stops someone from being able to fight, the intoxication significantly dampers their motive skills and overall ability to fight, even able to make them hallucinate. It doesn’t matter if the person is use to drinking or not, this ability intoxicates all of their senses, making it extremely hard for them to fight (though alcohol also effects everyone differently) unless their perception ability is high enough to make their sense not drop so much. If the user is defeated (i.e. killed), then the intoxication will stop instantly, but will leave its victims with an intense hangover. Naturally, the intoxication lasts for four post rounds (even when that is up, you will still be left with the hangover, but it is far more tolerable than the intoxication).
