KIDŌSHŪ COMMANDER'S OFFICE15 minutes ago.He wasn't tired but he didn't want to move either. He felt this moment was perfect, with her help he'd found a calm before the storm. He wished for it to remain frozen in time but forbidden kidou aside... ...time waited for no man.
His hand left her curves and outstretched to the air. His reiryoku dipped and waned and from his glowing fingertip he drew kanji in the air. The kanji misted and glowed blue before starting a light 'hum'. "Attention... this is a message to the entirety of the Kidōshū. This is your Commander and Grand Chief, Tokomaru Shi'Kuyo." He paused and collected his words carefully.
"As of now the Demon Arts Corps is in lockdown and all of you are effectively relieved of your duties, stripped of your ranking, allocated to unseated positions." His tone was serious but not cold, his word was law and he would not be challenged. "Unseated officers are to cease current duties and report to the grounds outside of the main library."
"This meeting and restructuring is mandatory. You have twenty minutes."
He stood solemn outside the walls of the library, waiting with sharp intent. His black haori flapping casually in the wind.
He had let the lot of them run loose long enough, and he in truth was impressed with their self-discipline and ability to keep themselves out of trouble while he figured things out and adjusted to the duties.
His first couple weeks as Commander had been chaotic if not enlightening. The time had served to illustrate the roles the Kidōshū could couldn't, should shouldn't and would wouldn't play in what was to come.
The Goteijusanbantai was ill prepared and though he didnt count them out he wouldn't overlook that should they falter the Kidōshū would be all that was left to defend the Seireitei. If he was unprepared, he would lose just as many as they had. He needed to be ready and so did his artists. By now the masses of them were arriving but he gave them twenty minutes so he would wait a little longer.
