CLAIRE ST.CLOUD
THE ANGEL OF WAR
As instructed, she began her journey to the Gate of the Sun. Despite not knowing where it was, that didn't really matter much to her. There were more pressing things to worry about, such as how they were going to complete their task.
That had been the topic of her contemplation since it was announced. She was devising some rather ingenious stuff, too. Yet, nothing seemed good enough to her. There were certain aspects of the task that she was avoiding, and that was probably why she couldn't think of anything full poof.
That...and she was internalize everything. Her and the Kotone chick had been walking throughout the castle for quite sometime, the icy white of the realm was all they could see. Claire hadn't spoken a word, not until about twelve minutes later.

Saegusa Kotone, on the other hand, was mostly questioning just why they were given such an assignment, and where they were. Wondering through a castle is no joke, and the fact they reached anywhere that looked fitting enough to be called the Gate of... uh, what was it again?
Either way, the fact that it only took twelve minutes to find what may or may not be this place was either an incredible stroke of luck, or some whimsical coincidence.
"I definitely would like to believe we have found it." Kotone, for the first time, managed to attain a single line of exchange with her new partner. Not that she had tried, anyway.
"I think 'He' said we're supposed to meet our 'supervisor' here. I just hope he can qualify for reinforcement."
Looking around, Kotone searched for who may just be this one person. Earlier, "He" mentioned that this man was one of the Sternritter. This would mean he should be easily recognizable...
...Except Kotone has only seen one Sternritter. So much for that. Still, though, there should be at least one person actively looking out for the two.

THE ANGEL OF WAR
Claire continues to look around, inspecting everything that she gazed upon. Truth be told, she didn't have a clue what the place would look like but it seemed as though their current location could be it. There were a lot of people around, after all.
Surveying each person, she decided to walk up to one of the people who didn't seem like they would recognize her or try to hold a conversation with her. She hated talking to people about stupid things.
"Excuse me," Claire beckoned for the attention of a woman dressed in white, with blue hair. "Do you know where the Gate of the Sun is?" she asked, turning back and looking at Kotone.
"Maybe..." the woman said in a rude tone of voice.
"Look," she said, in a calm voice. "His Majesty has asked me to go to there, you wouldn't want to impede upon desires, won't you?"
Without saying much else, she stepped away after seeing the look that assimilated upon the woman's face. It was terror, terror of what her words could have gotten her into.
From there, she looked at Kotone. She would allow her to gather all the rest of the details from the woman, if there were any,

Without a clue as to where they really were, her partner decided to do the most logical thing: Ask someone else.
Which wasn't going smoothly, and teetered on the edge of disaster when her partner decided to outright refer to their "Sovereign". She kept a straight face, though, and eventually turned to Kotone, most likely to see if she had anything to help.
Well, Kotone really didn't have much to add, since the lady in blue was more or less a lost cause in Kotone's eyes. However, she did decide she may as well pull a subtle joke about it, for her own amusement.
"We aren't joking" Said Claire... or did she? No. The words came from Kotone's mouth, but in Claire's voice. A skillful mimicking of the feminine yet incredibly stoic voice that was Claire's. It was executed well enough that Claire herself might be wondering if she had just said that.
"We need to get there to start our assignment, so just tell us how to get there and there won't be any trouble."
...
One incredibly short exchange with the lady ended up in both of them getting some form of direction, albeit uttered by a lady who couldn't stop herself from stammering. So, Kotone (and hopefully, Claire as well) would be, once again, on their way. As Kotone walked on, she made a comment. Not with the purpose to strike any real conversation, but an attempt to at least elicit some form of response from Claire.
"I think people around here take the phrase 'Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain' very, very seriously. Especially because he's here in the flesh."
...supposedly here in the flesh, I mean. Kotone said the last part in her head, wondering how well the "deity" now known as Junsui Saigo would take to her comments.
