Being one of the few members of the kidoshou that do not neglect their Zanpakutou, Chie can use it reasonably well. In fact, she often trained her swordplay in her off time, in order to set herself apart from certain Taichous. Still, it is only a side project to her, and she clearly lacks a good teacher.
Nothing besides basic academy training here.
With a keen eye and a knack for working out the details in things, Chie’s perception is really good. She specializes, of course, in analyzing kido that are used around her, or submitted to her, although she does have an eye for battle tactics as well, shaped by monitoring fights and reading all texts she could find.
Chie tries to stay in form as good as she can, although it has never been her focus. To her, the only use of agility is to get in some dirty hit, to grasp some opportunity. Aside from that, though, there is only dodging, and even that is usually taking a backseat to the use of Kido.
Spiritual control: Master
Befitting to her rank and station, this is where Chie excels. She has a natural talent for Kido and spends most of her time studying and refining them. More than a century of dedication paid off by now, further supported by her decade long sparring partner being the one she had always been compared to, the one who, by now, is leading the corps.

Like most who hold a rank like hers, Chie sits on a comfortable level of power, although quite a bit below captains. She does have to keep her power in check at times, yet it never threatens to run rampart or anything. Still, she does pack quite a bit of raw power to fuel into her kido, allowing her to proudly hold the title of FukukidŌchŌ

Release phrase: arawasu, fuhennori
Shikai: The zanpakotou is based on a certain concept of truth. It will not work if the user has spoken a conscious direct lie within the day. Lying multiple times in a short period of time can cause the zanpakotou to be sealed permanently.
In exchange for adhering to these principles, the release allows the user to reveal the truth about everything it touches, giving information about abilities it comes in contact with and shattering the masquerades of people it draws blood of. Chie has yet to develop actual abilities for it, though.

爆砕重奏 | Bakusai Juusou | "Explosive Orchestra": A very advanced form of Hado #12 | Fushibi. It, too, imbues a given objects with a certain property, although it is restricted to objects the user touches directly. In exchange, by adding some of the user's energy to the object, it gains the trait of conserving and distilling spirit particles. For normal objects, this simply allows the caster's energy to be stored within, but if they are worn by spiritual beings, they are capable of absorbing residual energy. However, Chie found that energy stored by this cannot be safely withdrawn, but always results in a violent explosion, proportional to absorbed or initial energy. Thus, affected objects are effectively turned into potentially self-sufficient mines, ignited by either being broken, triggered by the one who imbued them, or going critical. The latter only happens when they fed on a highly powered being for a while and are suddenly cut off of that supply.
