SPIRITUAL PRESSURE MODERATE/HIGH| Born with a natural gift in contrast to the defenseless inhabitants of the Rukongai Districts, Wulfred boasts an extraordinary amount of reiatsu that is most befitting his current status. An unassigned member of the Goteijuusantai, he merely acts as the gate guardian. The presence of foreign of invaders has honed his skills, making him a fiercely loyal guardian. The gate doesn't open even if the guardian dies; the gate stays shut and is only allowed to open if he lives. " There is no shame in dying so long as the wall remains unbreached, " Wulfred is proud to say he hasn't faced anyone strong enough to contest him in his vigil as gatekeeper.

SPIRITUAL PERCEPTION PRACTITIONER| His ability to perceive reiatsu isn't the strongest, though he is adequately gifted with the technique to make ample use of it. It's not that he doesn't have more than useful tools for detecting opponents, it's just that his tools use a completely different system to function. As such, those too focused on suppressing only their reiatsu will find that Wulfred can identify them through other means that only he is privy to.

ENHANCED SENSE OF SMELL | Overly strong smells can bother Wulfred, but it isn't beyond him to get over them. Besides, some of the strongest smells are used by wolves to mark their territory, so he is used to bad smells. His nose is remarkable, capable of detecting a trail where there wasn't one spiritually but using the smells to guide him. He can even identify a person's smell once he's encountered it once, which is something of a common courtesy for their kind.

ENHANCED SENSE OF HEARING | His ears can be directed to better locate the source of a sound, be it loud or quiet. His spectrum of hearing reaches farther high and down than a human's spectrum, giving him a much more broadened range of sounds to perceive. When a human thinks he's being quiet, Wulfred think's he's being noisy. Because of this, Wulfred can detect noises that a human didn't believe they made, and be alerted to their presence.

LIGHT-FOOTED | His sense of hearing makes him that much more aware of how loud he sounds when moving. Because of this he is capable of becoming completely hidden from an opponent through acknowledgement of his own senses, essentially trained to make no noise to himself and thereby ensuring his opponent cannot possibly hear him. Because of this he can move more quiet than any assassin ever could, all while maintaining the sure-footed stance of a stalwart predator.

ENHANCED EYESIGHT | His vision is keener than any humans, capable of hunting down tracks and subtleties that a human might not have thought noticeable. In the wild you learn to stay hidden when you need to, to avoid attracting unwanted attention. His eyes are positioned to provide him with a better view of his surroundings, allowing him to engulf more of the world around him in his field of vision.

NIGHT VISION| There is no difference between night and day to Wulfred. Even the darkest nights of the Soul Society haven't hindered his eyesight any, with eyes blessed to pierce the darkness easily--no matter if there isn't any light in the area. This also enables him to activate a natural form of true sight, allowing him to see what is false from what is true, and allowing him to act with wisdom based on his perceptions.

VOCALIZATION PERFECTED| Wulfred is more than capable of howling, and loudly too. He can send his voice farther than you would imagine, rolling over the entirety of the Rukongai Wastelands if need be. This allows him to communicate over far distances through certain signals discretely, believed to be mere ambient wildlife. He can interact with animals on a level humans cannot hope to reach without incredible devotion to the study of nature.

SPIRITUAL CONTROL PRACTITIONER| Wulfred hasn't ever learned to use his reiatsu for much, and as such his control over it is fairly low. Despite this he is able to cloak it very well, a bit of a niche trick used by their bloodline to hunt more effectively. It makes him incredibly difficult to identify, especially in the dark, where its effects are amplified by moonlight.

HOHO MASTER| There is fast, and then there is Wulfred. A hunter by night and a guardian by day, his speed matches that of some of the fastest known Shinigami. Years of stalking prey inside and outside of the Rukongai has honed his speeds, and he has been known to race about the Rukongai for pleasure. McKinley reaches his highest speeds during the thrill of the chase in the pale moonlight. He is renowned for placing himself just barely out of blade's reach, appearing to be within striking range when he isn't. This is a useful skill that Wulfred relies upon daily.

LEGENDARY FURY | It would be unwise to get near Wulfred when he's angry. His strikes are swift as can be and seem to move with inhuman speed whenever he pounces upon his enemies. When he is especially infuriated or driven to his limits, Wulfred strikes with strikes that move with the speed of stepping movements, mutilating whatever has come within reach of his hands with ease, all before most peole have a chance to react. It is stunning to watch a born predator take so easily to combat, and were it not for his upbringing, he would scarcely be so powerful. The technique is renowned among their kind, where only the strongest can claim to strike so fast. He and his lord grandfather are the last two known members of the society to have such prowess, which is what has caused tension between the two alphas.

SWORDPLAY NOVICE| Wulfred is as much a swordsman as he is a craven. He has taken up a shinigami zanpakutou, but the capacity to use it escapes him. As the weapon is poorly designed for him ergonomically, he has taken to studying others who use it diligently, trying to uncover its secret. The sword is his last companion, and he is often found abed beside it. He has taken to contacting his inner spirit, though he cannot communicate with it freely.

TOOTH-AND-CLAW & GAUNTLET-WARGLAIVES MASTER| Both inside and out of shikai, Wulfred uses a unique and instinctive form of combat. Born to fight wildly fast and to be ruthless in the attack, he takes to combat naturally and is quick to chase. His teeth and claws mutilate victims, lacerating flesh with apparent ease. His zanpakuto's shikai form has two warglaives adapted to gauntlets, which serve him just as well in his ferocious fighting antics, but serve to accomodate safer combat between himself and armed opponents.

ANIMAL OF BURDEN | Accustomed to the brutal livelihood of his ancestors, Wulfred is incredibly durable and maintains a high amount of stamina, pain tolerance, and an overall physical prowess compared to beings of similar rank but of a sapient disposition. Wulfred doesn't back down and won't surrender himself to death so easily. He is also capable of lifting inhuman amounts of weight with apparent ease.
