High Spiritual Power | Like most Lieutenant's, Kyoko's spiritual pressure is high enough to fight others with the same power level head on. Although she would have quite a bit of trouble facing a captain; her power even though thought to be above the average for a Lieutenant, she is still not close enough of a level to fight a captain level opponent properly. Her spiritual pressure emits from her body in white light around her, with an emerald green hue atop that. When felt at it's full force, her spiritual pressure could be described as 'calm' yet 'deadly', ready to strike at any moment; however this only applies to her younger days. Recently people haven't been able to sense her spiritual pressure at all, as if nothing is there; or as if there is no emotion behind her own power. Thus as a result of this, few are able to predict what she will do within battle.
Expert Agility | Like many would expect of someone within the Second Division, Kyoko is faster than most, however not quite up there with the masters. When not using shunpo or running, she can be seen using a wide range of acrobatic movements. Which not only help in battle, but to travel vast distances if the use of shunpo is not needed/required/usable at the time. Unlike most, she is on the higher end of her control over Hoho and general speed, nearly matching a Captain's but not quite. Daily she works on improving this, knowing she can do far better as time goes on, and she fully plans to improve on this as her powers grow.
Expert Hakuda | Not a master, but very close to it. Kyoko has been fighting thugs off for a long as she can remember, fighting from her early days in Rukongai and through her academy days as well. Kyoko is very well versed when it comes to Hakuda. Showing skill enough to dispatch other lower ranking members of the division with ease. Her stances and forms are solid, combined with her excellent shunpo skills, it makes this Lieutenant a tough one to beat when it comes to hand-to-hand combat. Kyo tends to mostly use hakuda within her fights, only using her zanpakuto when she things the situation calls for it and thus not right away.

This perception also widely extends to the battlefield, and allows Kyo to pick up on her opponents skills and how they work very quickly. Able to work out what kind of power and spiritual power is used just after seeing the skill used around three times, Kyo is a quick thinker and always tries to think ahead for everything. Although it doesn't always work, that doesn't matter. With the help of her unique ability synesthesia, Kyo never hesitates when aiming to catch a foe off guard. And those who can get past her keen eye? Well they are beings to be highly respected.

Shunkō (瞬閧, Flash War Cry) | Shunkō is the highest form of Hakuda technique. It is an ultra-powerful technique in which one drives Kidō into one's arms and legs. The Kidō itself can be controlled and fired at opponents from the body. By concentrating Shunkō around a particular area of their body, a practitioner can prevent attacks from damaging or piercing this area. Shunkō depending on the user, comes in various elements. Kyoko having found her element as ice, thus when using Shunkō the ground below her freezes, the temperature also dropping when her Shunkō is in use.Expert Zanjustu | As one would expect of a shinigami, they have a natural bond with a sword as most of the time their zanpakuto is a part of that. This is no different for Kyoko either, although not a master of such a weapon, that doesn't mean she can't be deadly with a blade. Despite preferring the use of hakuda, when needed she will use a blade. Able to perform precises and swift strikes, and with the aid of her hoho skills this is only improved. Despite this, she knows she is not the best at zanjustu. But still on par with the average Lieutenant. With regards to her strength due to main trails and harsh times as a child, despite her height and appearance. Kyoko packs a mean punch, and is by no means lacking when it comes to brute strength, and thus when needed against others she can be quite ruthless.

Expert Kidou | Although not a master, Kyo is very well versed with kidou. Showing the skill to be able to take on those of her own level within this branch and below, with mostly good results. The kidou she does know, and uses well to full effect against foes, trapping them, and thus making them very easy prey for her zanpakuto and it's abilities. Thanks to her fine skill with kidou, Kyo has been able to use and learn Eishōhaki (詠唱破棄, Incantation Abandonment), however for the time being things such as two fold incantations are beyond her ability.
Expert Healing Knowledge | Thanks to her time within the Yonbantai, Kyoko has gained and kept up with good medical knowledge. Although she was not there long enough to learn any kind of healing kidou techniques, she was able to grow in other areas. Being able to determine a wound from a simple glance, the best way to treat it, and if the wound(s) are life threatening or not. From this she carries various medical supplies on her, supposedly gathered and given to her by the Yonbantai members.
Master Assassin | From her day's training with Siam, to her time when starting in the Nibantai to the present day, Kyoko has trained fully in the art of stealth. Kyo from years of work now much like instinct knows where to strike on any opponent regardless of species to land a killing blow in one hit, as well as where to hit to stop a target from moving/knocking them unconscious. Kyoko can and knows how to hide her physical presence and sight to such extent, that even her normal movements on a daily basis seem to make no sound, like a ghost or if she was floating on the air itself. Also being able reduce things such as her own body heat to an almost nanoscopic level, allowing her to sneak up upon even the most well prepared of foes.
Expert Firearms/Small Weapons User | Thanks to her training over many various years with Siam as a child, Kyo has become an expert at using most kind of firearms. From rifles, snipers, pistols and various other similar weapons. Showing in previous fights/encounters that she not only has the knowledge about such weapons but knows how to fire them correctly as well. On top of this, she also used to deal with small weapons, such as daggers/knifes or a tano blade as she has recently found. This allows for surprise attacks, both powerful and swift at the same time.
Master Marksman | Trained from a young age as a soul, there isn't much that Kyoko can't hit when using any kind of firearm weapon. Kyo over the years of usage and self-training has become a master among those who uses guns as their weapon of choice. Able to hit most if not all/any kind of target no matter the distance or precise aim. This is aided by her Synesthesia ability, allowing her to shoot down targets that other master's would not even be able to dream of doing. You can be sure, if you give Kyo a gun and a target, she won't miss.
Hadō #4 Byakurai (白雷, Pale Lightning) | The practitioner gathers high-density spiritual energy, which he/she can discharge from both hands. Alternatively, the practitioner points at the intended target with his/her index finger and generates a concentrated bolt of lighting to use against the target.Expert Spiritual Control | Having gained quite a knack for this since her academy days, Kyo is able to easily hide her spiritual pressure to it's fullest. This also allows her very good control of her kidou techniques, needing fine control of her spiritual power to do so. She has found that only spiritual beings with the highest amount of perception can find her when she is totally hidden from sense and sigh alike.
Hadō #33 Sōkatsui (蒼火墜, Blue Fire, Crash Down) | Blue flames discharge from the palm. The practitioner aims the palm of his/her hand at their target and generates a torrent of blue energy before firing it at their target. The energy moves like a direct blast or a large wave of energy, depending on the amount of power which is placed into it. Depending on the user's proficiency with the technique, it can damage an opponent's Bankai.
Hadō #73 Sōren Sōkatsui (双漣蒼火墜, Twin Lotus Blue Fire, Crash Down) | An advanced form of Hadō #33. Sōkatsui, it has twice the effectiveness. Generating blue energy with his/her index and middle fingers, the practitioner makes a pushing motion with both of his/her palms to push the gathered energy toward the target in a concentrated blast. It is essentially a doubled version of Hadō #33. Sōkatsui because the user fires two bursts of blue energy with much greater potency than the single shot variety.
Bakudō #4 Hainawa (這縄, Crawling Rope) | Binds enemies with a reishi rope to stop their movement. Generating a crackling yellow energy rope within his/her hand(s), the practitioner throws it toward the opponent. The energy winds around the opponent's arms and body, immobilizing them.
Bakudō #61. Rikujōkōrō (六杖光牢, Six Rods Prison of Light) | Pointing his/her index finger at the target, the practitioner generates a spark of yellow energy, which summons six thin, wide beams of light that slam into a target's midsection and hold them in place. The target is unable to move any part of their body, including the parts which were not struck by the beams. This technique can be used after using Bakudō #4. Hainawa because the six beams of light form from the light already created by Bakudō #4. Hainawa.
Bakudō #62 Hyapporankan (百歩欄干, Hundred Steps Fence) | Generating a blue-white glowing rod of energy in his/her hand, the practitioner throws it at the intended target. It multiplies into a hundred more rods, which rain down on the target and pin him or her against a solid surface, completely immobilizing them. It is hard to dodge in a small area.
Bakudō #81 Dankū (斷空, Splitting Void) | A defensive wall is created to protect against an enemy's attack. The practitioner creates a translucent barrier in the form of a large rectangular wall. According to 6th Division Captain Byakuya Kuchiki, it can stop Kidō-based attacks with power up to level 89.
Sentan Hakuja (千反白蛇, Thousand-Coil White Snake) | A long, white piece of cloth is spun around to incorporate targets within its coils. As the cloth tightens, with a white flash, it teleports the targets to another location.
