HIGH SPIRITUAL POWER- Ever since youth Kosuke's wielded a large amount of spiritual power which has only increased since becoming a Vice Captain. With his big pool of reiatsu, Kosuke often fights while suppressing his power so that the enemy doesn't know his true strength. His reiatsu takes on a navy blue hue when visible.

SORRORW- Possibly due from the sad experiences he'd faced as a child, Kosuke's spiritual presence gives off a sad vibe. Those in the immediate area around the shinigami begin to feel a sense of growing sadness in them, causing those below Kosuke's spiritual level to eventually weap.

TREMOR- is a skill utilizing Kosukue's large, pool of reiatsu, fully releasing it which would generate quakes and shockwaves through most any surface. His reiatsu is intense, so unleashing the full extent of it would generate extreme bursts of wind in a fifteen meter dome, capable of forcing those beneath his power to stumble. The intense reiatsu causes rough ground surfaces to violently quake for the same radius, causing any in the 15 meters(besides Kosuke) to stumble as well. When used on glass or delicate surfaces, the surfaces would shatter or crumble.

EXPERT PERCEPTION - From training with Kariya, Kosuke has honed his five senses as well as his ability of observation. From continual training with certain senses dulled, the vice captain's managed to heighten his senses of sight and hearing to the point where he may notice subtle changes in the environment as well as pick up on the faintest of sounds. 

SPIRITUAL CONTROL PRACTITIONER- Kosuke's level of spiritual control is quite laughable for a vice captain. The fukutaicho has very little ability in the demon arts and struggles to suppress his spiritual presence. Though he has very little skill in the field of control, he is doing his best to learn. 

HAKUDA NOVICE- Seeing as he is quite capable with his swords, Kosuke doesn't see the need to learn much hand to hand combat. Rather than using any organized martial arts, the vice captain simply throws punches and kicks as if he were a mere street fighter.

MASTERED ZANJUTSU- From his time spent in the eleventh division, Kosuke has managed to train his sword skill to a frightening level. Through dedication he'd become a demon with a blade, able to have extensive knowledge of many forms at his disposal.

GLINT is a technique created through mastery of the sword, allowing Kosuke to effectively fool his opponent with a trick of the blade. Essentially a feint, Kosuke will begin to slash from one direction and while the target visualizes the slash coming from the direction, Kosuke changes in an instant. Not only does he change hands, but direction and speed as well. The speed at which Kosuke switches the assault is so quick that the foe perceives the blade as disappearing partially through the cut.

EXPERT AGILITY- As a vice captain, Kosuke is able to move at high speeds, though not on par with that of a captain's, but clearly above that of seated shinigami who haven't refined their skill.
