BLUE PHEASANT ANJI

GREAT SPIRITUAL POWER Anji's spiritual power has the same effect as his zanpakutō, as it is an elemental representative of ice. His Spiritual Pressure is said to be very large and "cold". Unlike the vast majority who manage to reach this stage, Anji has done so with little training or any involvement with the Gotei 13. Living in Rokungai all his life, he has fought for his survival, and has a reputation in the criminal underworld due to this. Anji is currently incapable of hiding or masking his pressure at will, with large, random spikes happening during emotional swings. However, his pressure can be lowered if he is experiencing a moment of zen or 'focus' of both mind and body.

PRACTITIONER SPIRIT CONTROL His spiritual control is only growing as he continues to make strides in his line of work, though Anji has still yet to be able to fully mask his pressure without reaching total focus in both body and mind. At this point in time, it's extremely hard to contain, leaking out even when doing menial tasks.

MASTER PERCEPTION Despite lacking the true meaning for its use in the spirit world, Anji's combat-prowess outside of the physical realm has not waived an ounce since settling in Rukongai; Anji's life spent as a samurai allowed him to gauge each individual foe with a simple glance, akin to ones 'ki' and gained an even better understanding of them while experiencing actual combat. This has somehow stuck with him since his death, leaving Anji to believe that his ability to perceive others spiritual pressure is merely based on his instinct from all his years spent fighting.

EXPERT HAKUDA His life in Rukongai would amount to nothing without violence. First impressions mean a lot, and it was upon seeing Anji dispatch a few thugs that drew the interest of the criminal underworld. Typically hired as an assassin or bodyguard, there have been hundreds of people he has faced over the course of his life, allowing him to develop skills used solely for the purpose of destroying his opposition.

EXPERT SWORDSMAN Making up from his lack ability within the arts of Kidō, Anji has extraordinary skill with a blade. He is even noted to be a prodigy with the likes of that art, which has caused many to fear dueling with him. His combat with the sword is graceful and unique, relying on minimal, yet precise movements to rend his enemies.

NOVICE KIDŌ The art of Kidō that seems to come as a second-nature to so many is completely foreign to Anji. Having killed the few Shinigami he has met over the course of his life, they had never shown the desire or were given the chance to use a spell; likely because they were dead before they knew it.
