GREAT SPIRITUAL PRESSURE | A survivor of the first batch of bount, Fleur had a lot of time to gather experience and power. This only added to a formidable foundation, though, as she was one of the most successful experiments, exceeding her expectations and what was thought of a bount’s limitations.
MASTERED DOLL MANIPULATION | Fleur has been with her doll for almost all of her long life, which had given her ample opportunity to learn how to such a peculiar being. Their bond has grown during this time as well, a relationship much akin to that of sisters, with all its ups and downs. Never having had any teacher for all this, she has created every technique and trick they use, and therefore know them just as perfectly as she knows her doll, the two of them being in synch pretty much all the time. As such, she usually foregoes any vocal commands and just issues them mentally, unless she wants others to hear.EXPERT SPIRITUAL CONTROL | Like most bounts, Fleur excels at hiding her spiritual power, simply by virtue of absorbing spirit, instead of exerting it. In fact, releasing her pressure to intimidate or the like is much more complicated than hiding it, although she does not truly mind it.EXPERT AGILITY | A natural byproduct of honing her body for such a long time, Fleur has grown quite fast, at least for a human-based race. The consumption of souls supports her in this, although her experiments to replicate techniques like Hirenkyaku have so far proven bumpy at best. Still, her raw speed is not to be taken lightly, and she can react quickly to most problems that come up.EXPERT PERCEPTION | While she might not have had as dense a contact with other spiritual beings as others, the sheer length of her life and her studies regarding other races have shaped Fleur’s perception. Yet, she has no talent for analysing things like Kido or Cero, aside from noting how bad those could be, limiting her abilities.MASTERFUL WEAPON USER | Multiple centuries of utilizing weapons to achieve her goals, to survive, have given Fleur quite a bit of training – not to talk about the actual training she conducted and received to hone her skills. She learned different styles and different weapons over the years, allowing her to switch between them fluidly, if necessary. Even her doll she uses like this most of the time, out of personal preference.PRACTICIONER IN HAND-TO-HAND | Due to the nature of her doll, situations where Fleur really has no weapon at all at hand are quite rare, causing her to neglect this field, aside from the few things she caught from various trainers. She still would not brag about it, though.
AriaSealed form: While sealed, Aria is usually seen as a grey, metallic wristband, worn by Fleur.
Unsealed form: The simplest way to describe Aria in its unsealed form is a formless mass of metallic liquid, reminiscent of quicksilver in its neutral state. The doll can change color, however, and unless deliberately changing it, the mass’s color represents its current emotional state, with red being angry, black being depressed, or white being its expression of killing intent. In order to talk, it simply forms a mouth somewhere, as the mass is quite malleable. Unless resting on Fleur in some kind of capacity, the doll usually just reverts to a floating ball of varying size, or a puddle if it feels really lazy.
Its size is variable, although it usually never increased beyond the size a seating ball, for simplicity’s size. Density is also something it can change at will, but it cannot control any part of it that is separated from the body, although it most certainly can just reabsorb it.
Abilities: Aria’s special abilities all revolve around it changing itself into various forms, sometimes even stances. It can change form fluidly, although doing it too often in quick succession risks the doll’s structural integrity.
- Ball Mod: Aria’s default combat mode, when on its own. Retracting to the most simple of forms, it becomes little more than a self-sufficient flying wrecking ball, which specializes in simply tackling opponents with brute force. As an addendum, it can also grow spikes, although the takes from its density. Additionally, the bigger it grows, the less forceful impacts it causes.
- Weapon mod M: In this stance, Aria molds itself into a melee weapon of choice, putting most of its density and power into cutting, piercing or clubbing, depending on the weapon chosen. While in this stance, it can shift into a different kind of weapon as well, allowing Fleur to, for example, parry with a sword any counter with a spear. It takes a little to settle into the new form, though, so those weapons deal less damage right after changing. It can also turn into a shield of sorts to intercept some attack, although that obviously prevents it from being used offensively.
- Weapon mod R: This is likely the most complicated form Aria can assume, as she becomes a ranged weapon, mimicking the firing behaviour of whatever it turns into. In essence, this forms allows Aria to channel Fleur’s Reiryoku into blasts of green energy. Using any blast modelocks Aria into the given form for at least a post, though.
- Freestyle: While all other stances lock Aria into a kind of form, this simply has it move around as a plain mass of liquid metal, assuming a somewhat gooey fighting style. Most of the time, in this form, it simply seeks to move through cracks and gaps in defences, in order wrap itself around a foe. Or, if all else fails, tries to enter any orifice it can find in order to wreak havoc.
- Impersonation mod: Aria’s most complex mod, it tries to mimick the body of an actual person, and coordinates its coloring to at least somewhat resemble the target. This does not change its feminine voice, though, and she mostly uses this in an attempt to fit in with humans. It is technically possible to fight like this, simply shifting parts of the body into bladed weapons, but doing so requires Fleur to micromanage every move from afar and cuts the strength of these weapons in half (since most of the doll is still concentrated in humanoid shape).
