PYRAMIDS

It had only been a few days since the one known as God had fallen; deeming the Shinigami known as Sojiro the new Captain Commander, and also the one known as The God-Slayer. A title that he adorned more than any clothing upon his flesh, and though he had gained this newfound respect amongst those within the Soul Society— he still had been on his toes for those that plotted against the likes of him. Rumor of a rebellion erupting from within the very walls of the land he sworn to protect had caused Sojiro to be rather careful with his behavior. 

Fear of causing potential allies to stray, had made the Soutaichou rather soft, his behavior even altering to a playful state even. A state that had caused his previous followers to question him; ponder if he was truly sane or had completely lost it. Still, Sojiro knew exactly what he was doing— for he was a truly deceptive and manipulative being, one that could outwit even the most wisest fox. Nonetheless, he had issued a meeting with a elegant female, one that resided within the Division Twelve; whom had also been abandoned by her previous Captain.

His reasons for asking for her had been unknown to even the likes of himself, but he was willing to discover what he had to deal with, and to gain intel on the whereabouts of King. Many had slowly forgotten the departure of several Taichou's due to the recent battle that had occurred within the Division One office. The memory of that day still fresh within the very epicenter of his mind; repeating itself, mainly key factors that had occurred, which had shaped him.

Still, a simple tone of voice escaped his gullet as he called out to the subordinate of King's division; "Oi, please come in. I apologize if i had you waiting for too long my dear Fukutaichou, step in as soon as you can, we have matters to discuss." His smile soon faded away slowly, he had decided to see what was in store for him, preparing his mentality for even the worst case scenarios; for there was no guarantee that this meeting would go as planned with the many conflicted egos—especially, with the self-doubting members of the Gotei Thirteen.

Similar to Carmen, the Soutaichou honestly had no idea of King's whereabouts; which was in fact, the very reason he had called her today before him. The girl who stood before his dull maroon hues was once a subordinate of the previous Taichou of the division, causing Sojiro to speculate that she had to know something; even the smallest detail of her ex-captain.

"Yes, I am very aware of such a painful thing," he mused to her— his eyes meeting her own as he continued to speak. Truthfully, I do not know where King, or the other previous Captain's have gone. The reason I called you here, is to ask for your aid. Had you have any interaction with King before he had departed? I beg you Carmen— if you did, even the smallest detail can help both of us." His tone had become rather serious, whilst his gaze shifted from her to the papers upon his deck; a heavy sigh finding its way out of his lips.

His hands that were at his side, were now shifting through the papers upon his desk as he retrieved a specific sheet; his eyes glancing back to her. "In my hands is an order to retrieve those who have departed, dead or alive. I do not want anything to happen to King or the others, I want nothing but peace amongst us; so please, any information."  He couldn't help, but stress the statement; hopefully the girl would comply and assist him in the matters of finding the captains.
