HISTORY:

Sosuke died at age four (4) as a human, being ran over with his Mother from the sidewalk who walked by her side holding hands as a drunk driver swerved onto that same road topping at a speed of seventy miles per hour (70mph). Striking the child and Mother, both Sosuke and his Mother died from the collision, Sosuke dying upon impact, but his Mother suffering in pain for quite some time. Little did she know, Sosuke acknowledged this suffering as he waited for whatever it was to take place, a mound of chains spawning from a hole in his chest and eating away. Before it could eat more than half of it's length, a black robed silhouette came to their aid, releasing both the baby and his Mother from this world, to the next.

As a soul, Sosuke was born in the northern 30th district of Rukongai, being taken care of by his Mother, and soon enough the man that had saved them on that fateful day. He was what Sosuke came to know as a Shinigami, and being the only real Fatherly figure in his life, his Mom being a single Mother, Sosuke took kindly to him from the start. Exploring their new world, or rather, the remnants of the many realms he had yet to discover, Sosuke began to become fascinated with becoming a Shinigami.

Starting from a young age, being forty (40) at the time, Sosuke began learning how to wield a wooden sword from his Father, as well as meditating and training with him. The training was rigorous, but with the proper mental fortitude that Sosuke possessed, and the help of his two parents, Sosuke began to show genuine promise as a Shinigami academy student. Training and refining his skills all the way to age one-hundred and fifty (150), that was the year Sosuke was given an Asauchi as his birthday present, being told he would start schooling at the academy very soon.

As an academy student, Sosuke couldn't help but notice he was better than most, if not all with kido and mental intuition, as well as being nearly as good as the others with his prowess in shunpo (flash step) and sword-play. This was due to his keen mental clarity and observation of how to 'right', or 'correct' the flaws in his skills, picking up on things very quickly and showing extreme potential in their usage. Even within the highest and greatest of the classes Sosuke has shown he is well-rounded and talented Shinigami. After honing and cultivating his skills for a long five (5) years, Sosuke was finally inducted into the Ichibantai as an unseated member.

From ages one-hundred fifty-five (155) to one-hundred ninety-four (194), this is where Sosuke's worth as a Shinigami to Seireitei spiked. Unlocking his Shikai within the first five (5) years, he mastered it and moved onto achieving a pinnacle of the Shinigami's powers, the Bankai, within another twenty (20) years. This of course landed him the position and squad transfer to Kyubantai as their new Taicho. Not only did it increase his popularity, but also his pay-roll, which made him more than glad to feel such recognition.

From ages one-hundred and eighty (180) to now, just barely encroaching towards fifteen (14) years, Sosuke has managed to master his Bankai, or so he and his Zanpakuto spirit(s) believe, something that has allowed him to garner quite a reputation, using his power against the rebels within Seireitei. However, with all the good news it wasn't so good for Sosuke, who lost his Father-in-law, and soon his Mother to some up and coming rebels that had beef with the Kyubantai.

This has caused him to move into other areas for training and doing so more often, focusing on namely Shunpo (Flash Step) which he has already proven fairly talented with, as well as his physical (melee/weapon) combat. By allowing himself to become much more obsessed with speed, however, he has taken his Shunpo and general agility to a new extreme.

Thankfully, Sosuke has finally been learning of the various Kidou incantation types thanks to his extra perks being a Taicho of the Goteijuusantai. Doing this all in hopes that Sosuke will keep growing stronger so he can protect those who are close to him, he knows he is still very young, perhaps headstrong, or naive, with all the time in the world to improve upon his strengths, but proving to be working too fast for his own good.
