Without a gap in time, King trailed directly behind the Kenpachi with the opening of an adjacent door. To take in the American sights created a nostalgic feeling that he allowed himself to bathe in temporarily.  Had this been any other day, King may have considered walking around to take in the wonders of his homeland.  However, the Soutaichou had been stern with her commands of eradicating or at least dispersing the ranged threat that reared their necks.

With his limiter removed and the foreign reiatsu of Quincy tainting the earth, he descended towards the ground level with the same grace as the beast before him.  Akin to a child, he peered over her shoulder at the looming "threats" and listened to her call out the lot of them.  "Mmm.  They don't seem too menacing in comparison to you." he stated, equally insulting and complimenting the physical appearance of both parties.

Standing with his companion and awaiting the company of more death gods, King's shrewd perception kicked in and his attention disrespectfully turned away from them all.

To the average eye, they would've saw a coward as the captain acutely moved to the west with the aid of his shunpo, distancing himself from Jingu and leaving her in their delightful company.

But when did a lion really care about the opinion of sheep.

The Espada could smell it. Death hung heavy and stagnant in the air, forcing his nose to crinkle at the smell. The decaying bodies of hollows had a less of an impact on the former human who had spent his life killing on the battlefield. Even now, over six hundred years of age, he had difficulty getting used to it. Using his only good eye he looked around at the mess of people scattered about aimlessly, many were fighting and others appeared just as geared up to do so. The idea forced a smile upon his lips, the air from the high elevation heavy and thickly drenched in the reiatsu of half a dozen people, namely the captain and her Quincy opponent. He had come here by reports of an all out war breaking out in the human world. Ao, who considered the report both incredibly odd and a possible lie, dressed himself to investigate himself. What he found even intrigued one of his caliber, though whether he came here to take part, had yet to reveal itself within' him. Gathering the necessary reshi under his feet, he walked across the air above the rest as if it were concrete. While Lan Shi made no movement to not reveal himself physically, only going so far as to hide his reiatsu so none would know he was an Espada, he also made no move to actively engage in the carnage like one would expect of a hollow.

With his coat being effortlessly tossed by the wind he took it upon himself to lazily rest his hands behind his head as he walked, a half smile lacing his lips and a watchful eye for those who might determine him a threat. Of all those gathered here today he could determine three - only three - that would potentially give the lion a run for his money. Two of which actively engaged - the Captain and the Quincy who, unbeknownst to Ao, was named Wolfgang. And lastly the small girl with the reiatsu level of, what he would assume, to be similar to his fraccion. However, unlike his fellow Espada, he decided he would watch over things rather than impose himself upon them. Chaos was.. bothersome at times. Though, perhaps if he was lucky, one might entertain it upon themselves to investigate him? As if in response to the tsunami of reiatsu the Kenpachi let out, he too released his own, determined to make his presence known. While it couldn't hold a candle to the captains, it was not that of someone worth taking lightly. While he still had no intention of taking part, he wished to let those beneath him remember their place in the food chain.
