NAME: Akiyama, TakehikoALIAS:Kage no Kamikaze, Mumei [void], Jukan SatoruAGE:Unknown [appears to be in early twenties.]RACE:Shinigami
ALLIANCE:Gotei 13, Ichibantai, Onmitsukidō
OOC NAME:Hard
FACECLAIM: Rurouni Kenshin(Samurai X) -Kenshin Himura - by: Kuro
APPEARANCE: Takehiko is often regarded as a mystery and his appearance is the number one culprit. His light frame that has been mocked by some for being extremely feminine, when in truth his slender build is one of his greatest weapons. Take’s weight ranges between one hundred and eight to one hundred and twenty five; however he stands at five feet and one inches tall. While looking small and soft Take hides the fact that his body is quite muscular, rather than being heavily weighed down by extra muscles Take has managed to keep his small frame, and youthful appearance without losing his knockout power and tensing his body up.
Takehiko’s choice in clothing when on duty is often the un-altered uniform of the Gotei 13 but he has been known to remove the under layer or rather his shihaksho as it sometimes feels unnecessary and heavy. Normally his layers are lighter than other and sometimes custom tailored so that they will not be a burden when he moves at high speeds, speeds which he has become notorious for. Takehiko also wears very light arm brace or tekko sometimes, often when he goes into battle or is hunting down a target.
In his possession it is not unusual to find a cloak of some-sort especially when garbed in the traditional executive attire of the Onmitsukido. Take is unlike his Captain in the sense that he always wears his Zanpakuto. Other weapons that may be found in his possession vary as he chooses the best possible weapon for each ‘hunt.’ On his person it isn’t unlikely that one would find a smoke bomb or throwing knives. It is within his wild hair that one may find a blade lying in wait among strands of fire, this sly fox is a fox indeed as his emotions rarely show, and when they do because of his profile it is impossible to identify what is real… especially when he emits no feeling, like his spiritual pressure… Take has no presence, or rather with practice his natural trait of having a ‘lack of presence’ is used in a way that eludes, slows, and misdirects others perception.
The final traits one should know of Takehiko is his attire when off duty and his irregular traits. When off duty Takehiko often wears light kimonos. He prefers reds, blues, and black; however black is only a special occasion as he wears it everyday. Unlike his clothing rarely can one find the Shinigami’s hair stained black usually done for a ‘hunt.’ Finally because of his time in the realm of Animals Take’s eyes can sometimes illuminate yellow when he begins to rely more on animal instincts that have been installed in his physical and mental memory, as such his scent and hearing are heightened and even his balance is strikingly abnormal as no one has ever seen his trip or lose posture. Upon his left cheek he bears a cross shaped scar that is a mystery in its own, a gift he received when he joined the Captain Commander on her trek to Hueco Mundo, which he has no memory of.

PERSONALITY: Takehiko is regarded as a living mystery of Soul Society. He is described as such because of the lack of emotion that is often showed to others. His face which is slim, young, and clearly has the ability to show kindness does not, but its not as if he shows off anger or fear… there is simply nothing to read. Take has also referred to members by their muscle configuration, or anticipated their antics. Not on purpose he has a tendency to be blunt and does not hold back from telling one what they lack or anything personal, such as if they stink. When it comes to those higher than him he can come off as cautious, well-guarded, or downright dastardly. One never knows what he is plotting, and his methods of killing have also been regarded as brutal and spontaneous, though he shows no signs of relief, remorse, sadness, happiness, praise… its as if the kill was natural.
The one person whom often cracks his rough shell and gets the man regarded as the Kamikaze is his adoptive [secret/not a secret] father Jukan Musashi, whom resides somewhere in a large mansion on Mount Koifushi in the 3rd district.
Take is not a robot he can actually feel, but does not show or express it to everyone. His ideals of the current soul society are positive and gives praise to the Captain Commander for completing such a stunt, but wonders how long the peace will last and if peace is more necessary than war… after all were Hollows not still rampaging? And were Quincy no longer drawing their arrows on souls of all kinds? Just cause something is not reported does not mean it hasn’t happened. In a sense Takehiko is like a guard dog, or rather a possessive fox that’ll do his best to protect his treasures.

HISTORY: The early life of Takehiko is lost somewhere deep within his subconscious; however with each returning memory or dream he stores within a log. According to his dream he was an abandoned child within the warring states era of Japan, taken in as a chore boy [slave] of a Samurai home he learned the sword by observation and late night practicing. –
Around the age of Nineteen he was proficient if not a master of his blade and quite the thief, but not a killer without reason. Taking care of a group of children and apart of a misfit group, Take assumed the role of protector and took his first life at fourteen. –
Serving some unknown lord or rather his group formed into a unit for the Oda family, Take was forced to retreat to a mountain in the northern prefecture. There he held back forces of one hundred men for a single day until he finally met his end at midnight of the second day to blood loss. He died guarding the only path though a trap would be set when the first solider stepped onto a stone stair triggering an explosion, yet he covered in blood would remain slumped over his sword. Unknowing to what curse may be waiting the forces retreated, it was one of the Oda generals that returned with a force of two hundred men that returned during sunset and gave him the name “Akiyama no Takehiko, Mountain Prince of the Red Mountain.” The name Take would later take.-
Takehiko in death experienced hollowfication as nine-tailed fox known for eating other hollows, and cleverly attacking small villages for larger game. In Soul Society he was a great nuisance, so when his ‘death’ came to him he was unknowingly to him taken from his arrival place and relocated far out of the districts into the outskirts. Take arrived in Soul Socity surrounded by beast both were and non-anthro alike. -
Take arrived in Soul Society many decades ago, he was a peasant in this world as well. The difference is he was not surrounded by human souls, rather the souls of Beast were his company. Ignorant he learned the ways of being a animal from the werewolf clan as he refused to venture out into a world he heard was prejudice and weak. After taking on their customs, strange fighting habits, and beast-like mentality, Take travelled out into the world. He arrived in the lower districts first and like his human life he took in orphans, misfits, and others whom he felt had the will to live. -
Take never revealed his swordsman ship in the open, only when he needed to feed of meals in the 'animal realm.' It would be during a robbery to feed some of the brats that he had begun running with he was forced to show his swordsman ship with a broom when followed and attacked by a shopkeeper. The way he fended himself caught the eye of a nobleman wandering down the street with his child, impressed the man known as Jukan Musashi took the orphans from the street. Though a noble he wasn’t active, now retired from the Shinigami he lived his life in the 3rd district of Rukongai in a large mansion, he was also known as a businessman that would provide food to all of Soul Society for a low price, except to those whom had… they’d be charged a higher price. -
Takehiko learned from Musashi the sword, as he was quite frail… but strong nonetheless, he could best many without even breaking a sweat. Jukan would tell the orphans whom now worked the fields, and assisted the shopkeepers in town about his time as a Shinigami, and in secret he’d talk to the very distant Takehiko whom at the time was going by the name Satoru about his time as a Onmitsukido corps leader. He was a exceptional hunter whom could do everything from read tracks to read the very muscle movements of his prey… skills he passed down to the child that only seemed interested in his odd traits. -
Musashi passed down his very own Asauchi’s to Satoru, claiming that he felt the spirit within the boy would appeal to the spirit of his heart, and like that Satoru was officially adopted by the old man, however he was not accepted by the Jukan and rarely [only twice] appeared before the whole family at once. Often he’d be sent on chores delivering everything from messages to seasonal treats to members. Even more so upset were they when it was revealed that Takehiko no longer was using his name Satoru when he attended the academy. He would serve in the academy for a year before being sent to serve in the second division and taking a position in the Onmitsukido. In that time he did indeed connect with the spirits of his blade as well as created varying techniques using his animalistic instincts, mystifying spiritual pressure, and his incredible speed [agility.] -
Takehiko served the second division fairly though he was more of a wanderer, he took part in specializing in Counter Ops and Patrol corps, he was sought after for a position in the executive corps, but often denied the promotion due to wanting to continue his current line of work. This came to an end about a hundred years ago after decades of chasing criminals or providing information in secret, he’d be forced into the Executive Corps to join the Captain Commander, whom was a Jukan however Take never approached her or made himself known… he spent most of his time in the 3rd district after all and never met the Captain Commander personally. The only meetings the two would have was her greeting ceremony and in the briefing for the mission that would leave him memory-less and scarred. -
Passionately Take chased after his goal of remembering the mission, but nothing ever returns. Since then he kicked up his training, and learning/using the leadership qualities that he learned from Musashi. Takehiko’s hardwork would pay off, though it would be for him to report to the first division as the Fukutaicho… though he would motion to deny it after a conversation with Musashi [whom threatened to lock the doors to the manor to him forever,] Take accepted the promotion; however he made it clear that he’d never leave the Onmitsukido and would remain in the corps while taking his vice captain duties seriously. -
