Goteijuusantai-Soutaichou Jukan Hinaai

VAST SPIRITUAL POWER| Hinaai, as a member of one of the Seven Great Noble Families, was born with an incredible amount of spiritual power. As she matured, however, she discovered that her soul was unique; it resonates with the outside world, which empowers her as she empowers it. The result of this is an incredible spiritual pressure that feels as if the planet itself if bearing down on those who feel it. It has no distinct feel, and when fully released is so tremendous that it can be felt from dozens of miles away. Over her long centuries of life, Hinaai has mastered the manipulation of it. 

TENCHI NO APPAKU| The Pressure of Heaven and Earth is an ability unique solely to Hinaai due to the nature of her reiatsu. By focusing the entirety of her power on a single point, she can create a massive explosion of power that rivals the force of atomic bombs in the real world. These bombs have massive radius’s, capable of taking out cities and beyond, and annihilating anything caught within. Even captain-class opponents are threatened by death if not prepared for this assault. 

MASTER SWORDSMEN| Having lived for hundreds of years, Hinaai has long since mastered swordplay. Her preferred style is extremely brutal; she often attempts to debilitate the target by removing their eyes, limbs, and other extremities. Fighting her is always a bloody affair, though it is rarely so for the Soutaichou. In her days as a normal captain, Hinaai adopted the moniker “the Painter”, as it was said she painted with only one color: blood red. 

TENTOU IAIJUTSU| The Inverted Art of Drawing is a sword technique created by the previous Soutaichou and taught to Hinaai. It involves sheathing the zanpakutou extremely quickly and then drawing it again. With the amount of spiritual force produced in both actions, a forced is created that sucks in targets towards the user, who are then cut in half by the powerful follow up slash. Even monstrous opponents, such as Menos Grande, have fallen to this technique. 

MASTER HAKUDA COMBATANT| Hinaai has mastered hakuda fighting. She is proficient in many martial arts, mainly taekwando, as it best utilizes a woman’s wide hips and flexibility. The Captain-Commander does not often rely on her physical prowess for battle, however, despite her technical skill in it. Still, even if disarmed, she is still capable of kicking most opponents to death. 

KAMI NO KAKOU| The God Drop is a powerful hakuda technique taught to Hinaai by the previous Soutaichou. It involves jumping into the air and performing a powerful dropkick, where all of the user’s spiritual power is put forth and released from the soles of the feet upon impact. Due to her unique spiritual power, Hinaai’s kicks are capable of launching targets up to a mile away, and leaving pieces of mountain scattered across the landscape like shards of broken glass. Many direct hits leave the target’s soul shattered to pieces. 

MASTERED HOHO| Like many captains, Hinaai has mastered the arts of hoho. She is incredibly agile and acrobatic, capable of bending ways most humans cannot and outrunning even the fastest runners. Her full shunpo speed is capable of out matching the majority of captains, and with full power it shatters the ground she was standing on and creates sonic booms.  

MASTERED SPIRITUAL CONTROL| Hinaai’s long life has allowed her to master the control of her vast spiritual power. Given that she slowly acquired her power over time, it does not overwhelm it as it might others, and allows her the ability to siphon off the exact amounts of reiryoku she needs without waste. Additionally, due to her unique reiatsu, she is able to sense any living soul within her range, which can extend for dozens, if not hundreds, of miles. This legendary sensory ability has earned the nickname amongst shinigami “the Planet’s Eye”. 

MASTERFUL PERCEPTION| Hinaai’s perception abilities are extremely sharp. Due to her Planet’s Eye, nothing escapes her eye. Additionally, she can tell what most abilities do before they are fired by analyzing the composition of the reiryoku and how it is formed. On the battlefield she has almost a third eye for what happens around her, and is capable of keeping up with hundreds of events happening at once without issue. 

KIDOU MASTER| Hinaai’s position as Soutaichou, and her having trained under the last, has allowed her unimpeded access to the Kidoshu’s library. Given her massive power and inherent talent, she has learned ninety-nine spells in both the Hadou and Bakudo schools. Those she hasn’t learned Kaido due to not being compatable with it, she is knowledgeable of that school as well. 

Zanpakutou

ZANPAKUTOU NAME: Shiki (四気 kanji for Four Hearts)
ZANPAKUTOU FORM: Shiki takes the form of a beautiful katana, one that has come to represent peace within the Seireitei. The silver blade, slender and sharp, is said to be the edge the people use to cut away the darkness. The hilt, wrapped in layers of dark green cloth, is said to be the handheld for lives to grasp when pulled towards death. The cross guard, a rectangular piece of thick gold carved engraved with trees, represents the barrier between life and death. Though it is rarely seen, Shiki is a katana with as much story behind it as the Seireitei itself.
ZANPAKUTOU SOUL: The spirit Shiki is unique in that it’s form is the same as the inner world. Shiki is the trees and plants, the animals and the soil, the lakes and the sky. All of it is Shiki. Unique, however, are the four trees that tower into the sky above any mountain and through any cloud. Each one is unique, and each one represents one of the four seasons of the human world that Shiki is sworn to protect. The spring tree is covered in a thousand fruits, each one from a different area of the world. The summer tree has no fruit, however, it has the leaves of a thousand different trees. The autumn tree is one of a thousand different colors throughout the leaves. The winter tree is dead, surrounded by brown leaves with bare branches that rake at the sky. When Shiki speaks, it is with one of these four trees, each one representing a mood (happy, serious, sad, and anger respectively). Notably, Shiki has no actual voice. It sounds as if a thousand voices are speaking, all at once.
