MODERATE SPIRITUAL POWER| More than thirty years of combat conditioning and spiritual training has brought Santiago’s spiritual power past that of an average human. He is strong enough to hold his own against various hollow and shinigami, and at his peak can even touch the levels of elite shinigami and evolved hollow.

EXPERT MARKSMANSHIP| Santiago is an expert with ranged combat, preferring guns over the traditional bow and arrow. He knows how to take apart and put back together an assault rifle in under six seconds, and can hit a moving target more than a hundred meters away. Though he doesn’t possess the ridiculous amount of skill some do, he is a force to be reckoned with.

EXPERT CLOSE-QUARTERS-COMBATENT| Due to his training, Santiago is extremely skilled in both weapon combat (such as knives, daggers, sticks, and batons) and various martial arts. This skill would allow him to be a UFC world champion, or to overcome even masters with his unorthodox and deadly fighting. He tends to go for disabling and crippling attacks, and doesn’t waste movements.

EXPERT PERCEPTION| Santiago’s combat sense is first rate, a byproduct of his three decades of training. He can notice small details in combat and understand them in seconds. Additionally, his third eye is very perceptive, able to notice targets who hide their auras extremely well. Due to his experiences in the field, Santiago is able to understand and guess the inner machinations of many abilities upon first seeing them.

PRACTITIONER SPIRITUAL AND REISHI CONTROL| Santiago is adept at controlling his spiritual power, as well as outside reishi and reiryoku. Though he is not a master of this art, he is capable of using multiple ginto at once and suppressing his presence low enough to hide from most foes.

SQUARED TIME| Squared Time is a unique ability taught to Santiago to be used against opponents quicker and more powerful than he. By rapidly in taking reishi from the environment around him, he is able to literally condense space/time. This makes him seemingly appear drastically faster when compared to his normal speed. As he grows more skilled in reishi manipulation, he will be able to increase this to its next level, Cubed Time (even faster!), though doing so for more than two posts would harm his internal organs. Squared Time itself only lasts five posts before it requires a one post cooldown, or Santiago will suffer from internal bleeding.

BLUT| Blood, or Blood Cloth, is the ability of quincy to absorb reishi into their veins. As a half-blooded quincy, Santiago was forced to train to learn this technique. Thus, it is weaker than a pure-blooded quincy’s own, which could be used since birth. Both the defensive and offensive variations have been learned, and are strong enough to block bullets and punch holes in concrete respectively.

PRACTITIONER AGILITY| Santiago is swift and agile, and uses parkour on a daily basis; however, he is no kind, and he generally finds the need to backflip off buildings rather small. His running speed is extremely high, and his hirenkyaku speed even higher, but he is not the speed demon some of his brothers are.

EQUIPMENT

Starcream [Mark II] 

The Starscream is the Vatican's standard weapon issued to all those who could come into contact with supernatural occurrences while on Earth. Not a spiritual weapon by nature, it is a handgun by all accounts, bigger than a regular weapon, however. The ability to harm Hollows and other supernatural beings is promoted by a liquid core of Gintou in every bullet. The weapon can be freely changed between impulse fire, semi-automatic and automatic. Voice activation allows different types of ammunition and customization. It's more so a tool for a real world than for the desert of Hueco Mundo or the districts of Seireitei.

The Poseidon

The Poseidon is a unique handgun created by the Vatican and issued to all members of the combat-oriented apostles. It allows the quincy in question to load ginto directly into the clip, substituting them for bullets. It then fires the ginto without need of incantation, allowing for rapid fire spell casting. Each clip holds five ginto at one time, though the barrel needs to be adjusted after going through two clips.

Pompeii

Pompeii is the name of a special type of explosive created by the Vatican. Shaped like a grenade, it contains four ginto and a scheele schneider core. Upon twisting the top knob and throwing it at a target, it will explode with a tremendous amount of force. It has an explosion range of ten meters, and can even wound spirits that match the spiritual power of a captain-class target. Additionally, the reishi it produces burns a targets soul, blunting or, in severe cases, flat-out denying them the ability to use spiritual power. This only lasts for an extremely short duration, however.

Starwings

The Starwings are a set of daggers forged by the Vatican. They have a core of soul-synthesized silver and an edge of soul-synthesized diamond. This makes them incredibly sharp and removes the need to constantly take care of the blades. Each is about a hand in length, with their hilts being wrapped in leather. Due to their make, they can easily absorb reishi, making them perfect vectors for quincy arrows or ginto.
