Reasoning: The Seventh Division Lieutenant departs on an operation to eliminate a foreign threat in the outskirts of Rukongai. He soon finds himself not overpowered, but simply out-skilled. After suffering a defeat, Ashton is temporarily adopted into the Onmitsukidō and trained to defeat a man that threatens the safety of the entire Soul Society. After training, he found his new mastery over his arts more powerful than he knew, and utilized them to defeat one of the greatest dangers the Sereitei had ever faced; becoming the Hero of Sereitei for those high enough in the hierarchy to know.

Chapter 1: Ashton and Mikono find their mysterious threat in the forests of Rukongai. His companion finds herself defeated in a mere second, and after a short skirmish, he finds himself out-skilled by his opponent and forced into bankai in order to defeat his enemy—and ends up defeated with his bankai absorbed by the Bount. Previous Captain Commander of the Onmitsukidō finds the defeated Shinigami, and takes them into a hidden medical center.

Chapter 2: After having the seriousness of told to him, Ashton accepts the offer of being trained to fight without the power of his Zanpakutō. Within a heightened gravity zone, he’s put to the limit in order to truly learn oneness with his mind and body. Suffering his hardships, the knowledge of true Hohō and Perception are settled into him at record time, while his body evolved and strengthened under the intense weight and pain.

Chapter 3: Much to their surprise, Alexendre surfaces earlier than expected. Though Ashton’s training still required a few more days until Yamato deemed him worthy, the lieutenant confronted his newfound rival early. Out of the gravity zone, he finds his body and mind truly unleashed to their full potential, and utilizes his empowered agility and perception to defeat his overpowering enemy; little did he know, he was a new master in the arts—and became the Hero of Sereitei and a threat to be feared in the process.
