HISTORY: Born in the year 182 A.D., Himiko was the daughter of a simple farming couple in their local village. She was born with little issues, other than the fact that her hair was the color of wisteria in full bloom, and her eyes as red as beets. During this time in history, oddities among children were not generally accepted as most people were very religious and believed in the existence of demons and gods. For many years of her young life, her parents kept her locked away in their house until they returned home in the late afternoon, promising if that she was good, she would always receive a treat.
However, like all children, curiosity took a great hold in her life, and one day while her parents were gone, she snuck outside into her parents' rice fields. As she ran through the fields, exhilarated by the fresh air, mud between her toes, and the altogether new feeling of seeing the world for the first time, she did not notice she was being watched. The neighbors came out to watch this purple haired wonder race across the fields, laughing in such glee with looks of both confusion and surprise. Surprisingly, instead of thinking she was some sort of demon, they took her as a blessed child from the gods above, and scooped her from the fields, leading her back towards her parents home.
However, all her fun ended when her parents made their way home and entered their house to see their neighbors surrounding the young child, some still looking on with surprise, and others whispering about what her possible purpose could be. Though she was lightly scolded by her parents, she was trussed up and fussed over by the villagers as she grew up. When she became a teenager, they made her into their own priestess, and came to her for advice, and even though Himiko didn't have the answer to everything, she tried her best and worked diligently to learn more about the world around her in order to fulfill her god-given purpose.
But with great power, there will always be others who wish to claim it. This 'other' came in the form of a lord over nearby lands who was working to extend his claim further beyond his borders. When he came upon their fertile village, he demanded she give the people orders to give their lands to him and work as his serfs, or suffer his wrath. The villagers and Himiko refused to stand down without a fight, but it was all in vain. The lord decided he couldn't use thirty unruly villagers, and proceeded to have them executed as he watched from atop his horse. He allowed Himiko to watch everyone in her village die before her, before he decided to take pity on her and kill her. In her rage and sorrow, she gouged out her own eyes before she could watch him kill them all, and swore that her revenge would be eternal, even after her death. At her incredulous promise, he slit her wrists and allowed her to bleed to death, blind and surrounded by those she had come to care deeply for.
--------------------
Then she reawakened as a plus, still surrounded by the long since dead around her, and her village up in flames. The torment drove her to take hold of the chain in her chest and rip it from herself with all the strength she had. It worked, and she felt her heart form a mask over her eyes and felt her form change. She became a weasel like hollow, but unlike most, she was devoid of eyes except for four small indentions where her eyes should be. Her hollow instinct took over, and she hunted for souls, and surprisingly, she got her revenge on those who took her life. It took all of her remaining senses to find them, but she got them. Unfortunately for them they had made up camp too close; perhaps if she had been in her right mind, she would have enjoyed every second.
However the same instincts that caused her to hunt, lead her to Hueco Mundo. There she observed about the desert wasteland her slim form was to inhabit, using her sense of sound, taste, smell, and touch instead of sight. She was blind here, and for a while she had trouble hunting on her own and avoiding being hunted. She mostly ran and preyed on much weaker hollow than herself.
But after a time getting used to her weakness, she grew strong around it, and began to devour more and more powerful hollow. She was underestimated, and many tried to devour her, only to fail and fall to her skilled claws. Her transformation between young hollow, to Menos Grande, then to Adjuchas went rather quickly, as she was diligent and very cunning, quick and confident. These traits saved her many a time, and when she gained her gillian form, complete with purple hair like she had adorned many years before, she was far from unsurprised.
The hunger within her drove her further and further, and she soon became famous in Hueco Mundo as "La Comadreja Ciega" or The Blind Weasel. She became respected and feared amongst hollows, but mostly the latter. She still devoured other to fuel her strength, until she reached the final stage in a Hollows growth: Vasto Lorde. Himiko no longer felt the great need to hunt for hollow to devour, and began to gravitate towards following others of equal or greater power than she herself, or wandering aimlessly through the desert with no true purpose in mind.
