His power was absolute. His words were prophetic. In the short time Kosuke spent standing in the presence of Kazuya Sorimachi he'd learned that the greatest enemy the squads had ever known would soon be knocking on their doors. How much time would pass before the army of El Renacimiento rose their swords against the Seireitei? There as no telling. Until then all Kosuke could do was continue to brandish his soul until he'd be a force strong enough to contend with the strongest of Espada.
I'll be of use to Sojiro.
Just days from having attained the power of Bankai, the noble Ryuugamine had plunged himself back into the beauteous world of his zanpakutou. Rolling hills of emerald spread out as far as the eye could see, a dazzling show of golden light flashing in the dead of the night. Wisps of clouds hung low in the starry night sky, the light of the moon barely allowing the Shinigami to see even his own fingers.
"Back so soon" a sorrowful mew gently cooed through the man's ears.
Giving a slight turn on his heel, steely gray eyes peered down to glimpse upon a beautiful elven girl, her body decked in a shadowy dress that seemed to reflect the stars. Entire solar systems danced upon the abysmal folds of her dress and for a brief moment would Kosuke find himself locked in awe in the recesses of space that spread across the beautiful girl's dress.
"You almost sound sad to see me" the king teased. The lonely princess stared upon her master, a look of pure indifference plastered to her visage. "Faster. I need to get faster, and I need your help."
Without a single word more, the princess clutched a chunk of fabric on her midsection, pulling the cloth away with a faint rip. Before Kosuke had the chance to say a word she loosed her grip on the fabric, creaking a hint of a smile as a soft wind carried the shadowy piece of dress to the soldier.
Watching as the cloth danced on the breeze, Kosuke was slightly confused. What in the hell could this tiny piece of dress do to make him faster?
But then he got his answer...
As soon as he reached a pale digit out to touch the cloth, it burst to life in a colossal torrent of water that pummeled the Shinigami to the ground. Forcing his eyes shut was all Kosuke could do as he felt a cascade of water pummel him to and fro. It was almost...almost like he was under water. Raging currents blast him back and forth with every second that passed, finally ending as soon as it'd started.
Impishly Kosuke slid his eyes open, the once dim moon had become an orb illuminating the dead of night. Hell, it was so close he felt that he could almost touch it.
Immediately the noble's eyes flung open in alarm. All of the signs were there, but for some odd reason he'd not truly noticed his position. Every muscle in the man's body felt relaxed - his body weightless. Every few seconds the air around the moon would give a slight break as if it was just a reflection on a pond's surface.
He was under water.
