IMMENSE SPIRITUAL POWER | Through the training and obstacles set in place by the grand Soul King, King has accelerated and enlarged the growth of his spiritual power in a way that would have taken others a millennium. Suffocating to say the very least, King controls his novel and empowered spiritual power with startling control. Nonetheless, he has learned that even releasing the reigns of his control and allowing it to roll is another forte within itself.

MASTERFUL SWORDSMAN |When it comes to swordsmanship, King truly shines in an unexpected manner. While many would write off someone within his division in such a category, this captain clearly demonstrates an exception to the "fragile scientist" stereotype. Combining his tribulations in Rukongai and his life beforehand, he truly embraces the style of an american brawler with a blade mixed with the oriental nature of the world he resides in. Ferocious and unrelenting, King suffocates his opponent's space within efficient and quick strikes that he can redirect at a moment's notice. At times, they can even be cleverly unorthodox.

PRACTITIONER HAND-TO-HAND |King's discipline in the art of CQC is noteworthy, but nothing to write home about. Just as any shinigami, he has spent ample amount of time with his hands and feels comfortable enough to throw himself in battle against anyone of captain level. However, his forte doesn't come from anything flashy, but instead his advanced understanding of the motion and timing of strikes via a blade and using it to his advantage. More importantly, his skill lies in his ability to feint and redirect his blade mid-swing.

• AMERICAN PRIDE | Once more battling the fragile scientist stereotype, King possesses an unearthly amount of durability/endurance against attacks. Heavy attacks or spiritual blows that are typically enough to incapacitate a normal target of his level inflict a lesser amount of damage to the shinigami and are reasonably shrugged off as a benefit to this valued trait. In simple terms, King's able to withstand more than the average equivalent shinigami taichou.

MASTERFUL AGILITY | In terms of agility and speed, King sits among Seireitei's finest. While surely not the quickest soul in Soul Society, his shunpo efficiency isn't to be taken lightly as he weaves around opponents. That being said, a major point of his agility is his heightened reaction time. King's prowess to respond and view actions at an elevated rate go hand and hand with his perception. Combining his physical and mental gifts, it gives King a competitive edge over his competition due his ability to adapt in less than a moment's notice.

MASTERED SPIRITUAL CONTROL | King's spiritual control is completely absolute. Unlike many who dedicate centuries of their lives refining their control, he totally bypassed such an immense amount of time. As a testament to his own genius, he created a pill that decreased and plugged the leaks within his spiritual control, leaving him with it in a state that leaves little else to improve on.

PERFECTED PERCEPTION |When it comes to knowledge, look no further. There's no man smarter in Soul Society, the Mortal Realm, or even Hueco Mundo than King. In combat, King's perception is alarming in that he's able to view and understand the function of abilities or releases by sight alone. In the thick of battle, he can deduce tangibles from intangibles and see even the slickest of hoho users during their accelerated movement.


GENIUS INTELLECT | It goes without saying that King is a genius. But for the sake of it, King is a genius. ;Not only does he do genius-level things, but he has his own assortment of experimental creations that he weaves for the Gotei 13. Whether if it's buffing pills, serums, actual devices, or clothing imbued with certain benefits, King compliments the Gotei 13 in some sort of way. Nonetheless, he always saves his best works for his own private use unless the situation is dire.

• THE LOOKING GLASS | As first hinted within this thread, King's ability and creations go far beyond what even an above average person may comprehend. A project that he forged one year post-graduation and that he currently enhances, King's mind has its own spiritual chip embedded inside of it. In a standard human's explanation, it works much like an high technology computer, performing functions at a vastly improved rate. Simple functions include, but aren't limited to, remotely unlocking/locking doors, hacking databases, or controlling the functions of an electronic device. With the ability to connect to his own satellite above Earth and Seireitei, King can monitor and view others from miles away and use different styles of sensing to achieve the results he desires.
