SEALED FORM ZANPAKUTO NAME: Son Goku ZANPAKUTO FORM: In it’s sealed state, Son Goku takes the form of a plain katana of average length, unremarkable in all aspects. The hilt of the blade is wrapped in white fabric that ends in a dull grey pommel. The guard is the typical oval, the same dull colour as the pommel. ZANPAKUTO SPIRIT FORM: Son Goku is a large humanoid creature that takes on elements of both primate and human, appearing as an intimidating amalgamation of the two. Standing at around 10’ tall, Son Goku towers over his master, the bulging muscles visible under his thick fur adding to his impressive presence. A warrior-God in his own right, Son Goku dons appropriate attire for his status amongst the Zanpakuto spirits, bearing an armoured regalia of various metal plate atop his cloth coverings. His shoulders are protected by pauldrons, one bearing the visage and horns of a bull while the other stretches further down his forearm in red plates. Around his neck sits a large prayer bead necklace, white in colour, with a smaller black version around each wrist. Atop his head sits a golden circlet, from which his long green locks spring forth. Son Goku's persona is representative of Shuuto's "true" self, his inner imperfections, and does not shy away from reminding Shuuto of that fact. Whenever possible, Son Goku antagonises Shuuto by deconstructing his calm exterior and telling him commit misdeeds as his true nature intends him to do, to stop upholding his priestly facade and go on a rampage. The Monkey King is an exceptionally violent spirit, feeding off Shuuto's anger and discomfort, relishing in the brief moments when his master loses control; whether it be upon a Hollow or upon himself. Son Goku takes particular offence to the release phrase that Shuuto calls out in the rare event of the Zanpakuto actually being used, the true phrase being corrupted by Shuuto into its current one. For this reason, Son Goku does not grant Shuuto access to his full power when he uses this phrase to call upon him. |
SHIKAI SHIKAI RELEASE PHRASE: Zouchou, Son Goku (Grow Arrogant, Son Goku) SHIKAI FORM: Son Goku’s appearance upon utilising Shikai is among the most basic of all release forms, taking the shape of a simple metal pole that Shuuto wields as a staff. The metal is dull and worn; signifying years of use and abuse at the hands of its wielder, yet somehow bears an intimidating aura in its brutally utilitarian aesthetic. It is made for combat, not to impress. An interesting trait of Son Goku is that it is absurdly dense, weighing exactly 7960 kilograms in all variations of its size. Kakuchouka (Enlargement): The first of Son Goku’s abilities in this form, and the core of the Zanpakuto’s method of killing. At Shuuto’s will, Son Goku can change size from that of a needle to the size of the average skyscraper, able to control both the length and circumference of the staff. This change occurs at an incredibly fast speed, able to morph between the smallest and the largest state size in the blink of an eye. The weight of Son Goku remains constant throughout these transformations, though Shuuto is capable of ignoring this extreme burden and wielding it comfortably as a secondary trait of Son Goku’s main ability. |
