• 閃光 ❝Senkou❞ (閃光, Glint) is a skill that uses the water molecules in front of a blade to give Nanami an edge; one that utilizes a sneaky tactic as opposed to an upfront attack. Whether it be a stabbing attack or one that relies on slashing motions, Mae is able to form almost instantly an extra 10 feet of extra blade length by solidifying and infusing the water around that specific area with her reishi. The attack is capable of bisecting opponents and piercing through skin and bone as easily as lapping your hand through water. Like with all of her techniques, the shape, length, and density is subject to her will. She could create one thick enough to hack away a midsection or one so thin your face would form a question before your death of what exactly stabbed you.
  

• 浸食 ❝Shinshoku❞ (浸食, Erosion) is the the long range technique provided by her Shikai. By taking her blade and cutting the air around her in rapid and precise strokes, she's able to form impossibly thin, sharp, and serrate edged arcs of water. Dozens to hundred encompass the small field, and when she wills it, travel forth fast enough to create a humming sound through the air. As they near they consciously begin to meld together with one another, creating denser and more cleanly sharpened crescent shaped projectiles, the like of which decrease their overall number, but increase their toughness and cutting strength. Should they land, they have the ability to cleanly slice through limbs and even kill should it hit the right areas.

• 蓴菜 ❝Junsai❞ (蓴菜, Water Shield) is a technique that is more passive than active. By being one with her zanpakuto, her spirit takes it upon himself to protect her almost unconsciously. Around her, in a three feet radius all around, the water in the air is capable of being manipulated to form a shield at the exact point of any impact or intrusion. Not only does this allow her to focus on other things, but also gives her a solid defense against though who would attempt any stealth based combat techniques. The shield, encompassing every centimeter of those three feet, get's denser as one forces their way past it, and as such, becomes harder to 'pull' from should they attempt to escape; the water seeking to consume it's target the deeper it gets. The shield itself is incapable of blocking kido or energy based attacks. (cero, etc.)

• 洋紅序曲 ❝Youkoujokyoku❞ (洋紅序曲, Crimson Overture) This ability is a passive that is forever activated so long as she retains her bankai form. Everything that falls inside of her Bankai- and thus, under the vast expanse of clouds and rainfall- she get's an unconscious 'sixth' sense for. In other words, without even attempting too, she can track any and everything that exists within'. Regardless of ones speed or teleportation techniques, any disturbance, motion, or lack thereof is understood immediately. The effect gives her a near omnipotence within' the summoning; a technique that proves useful in combat with multiple foes. The near perfection perception only seeks to empower her shield from the previous blades form, granting a range increase of 7 feet and increasing not only it's strength and durability, but it's toughness to retreat from as well.
  

• 洋紅序曲春の撫でる ❝Youkoujokyoku: Haru no Naderu❞ (洋紅序曲春の撫でる, Crimson Overture: Spring's Caress) Despite being a mouthful, this is by far the deadliest technique Nanami has to offer; the very thing she uses to stain the rain in blood. So long as one remains in a 100 m radius of her and within' the rainfall, each and every raindrop that has not already made contact with her enemy, is an extension of her blade. Any movement she chooses to make using her actual body is reciprocated where she wills within' the range allotted. This ability is so deadly that entire armies have fallen to this technique and men and women alike that rely on speed or teleporation find their techniques useless; dead before they even understand what has happened.

A lone cloud stands among the never ending darkness, looking down upon a cold, unforgiving sea that reflects no light; a dull blackness that puts fear even into the fearless Nanami. A top the cloud and centered is a tree that's nearly as white and luminescent as the moon that watches over it. Nothing but fog and the stars are seen or heard in the endless expanse that is Harusame's world; a nearly finished solar eclipse that slowly fills as the years wind down, a foreshadow to Mae's death. No matter t he time of day, or the circumstances, Harusame can always be found gazing upon the moon as if counting down the very seconds until he too would die. Despite this however, the universe changes with the very mood of it's shinigami. Should it be a particular rough day, supernovas and more erupt at the edge of her vision while a day filled with disappointments are accompanied by thunder storms beneath the snow colored platform she stands upon. But no matter how she feels, the air itself always remains as cold as the deepest depths of the ocean; a feeling of suffocation always clinging to her throat. An ever lasting reminder that the liquid of life can take what he easily gives and that no one, not even Mae, is safe from it's cold, unforgiving clutches.
