HIMURA, SAITO | ||||||||

PERSONALITY Saito can be noted as a rather calm individual, thinking things through before acting on emotion. Well... for the first five seconds you get to know him, at least. Extremely laid-back and having a mindset that makes him believe everything'll be alright in the end, he doesn't try too hard depending on the job he has to get done, commonly seen just lazing around or resting. Inside and outside of the workforce seen as a pillar of stability with his teammates, he makes a decision and doesn't change his mind about it easily, meaning if he likes you, he likes you, and if he doesn't... he doesn't. The little things and details commonly passing him by if he doesn't care enough to take notice of them, he lets his team take care of the small things, taking upon himself the hardest of the jobs and the more difficult positions. Dutiful, and extremely charismatic- able to sway crowds with a single swipe of his arm and fill those around him with happiness through a single smile, one could say that he's some sort of natural-born leader, though he'd deny it just as easily as anyone else would. Strong-willed though weak-hearted— meaning that he can get the job done though afterwards he might hate himself for his decision, he tries not to let anyone see what he's feeling inside, commonly taking the pain in and keeping it locked away. Even the closest of his friends nigh untrustable with his burden, he carries everything alone, devoted to his friends, family, and loved ones extremely. Viewing himself somewhat as an older-brother figure to those that enter, he'd protect those he cares about with his life, no questions asked. Stepping up to the plate when the situation calls for it, Saito ends squabbles and arguments as quickly as possible, crushing them out of existence— literally. Hating getting into any sort of bad situation in the slightest, he commonly ignores them, though if they get out of hand, he intervenes. Typically, he's a no-nonsense type of guy, though he likes playing around most of the time too.
APPEARANCE Standing at a height of 5'10" with a weight of 172lbs holding him up, Saito stands slim, yet muscular for his age. Toned form giving off a slight air of experience both in fistfights and working out in general, at first glance one wouldn't expect him to be all that kind. Golden locks stretching down from scalp with spiky strands jutting outwards in about every direction, there resides a larger frontal tuft that hangs upon his forehead, usually needed to be brushed aside. Ultramarine irises staring out at those he sees fit, one could also notice a thin diagonal scar that hosts itself above his right eye, crossing atop brow. Left ear adorned with an earring attached to a rather prominent metal pendant, he dons usually a blue long-sleeve vest with silver outer edges, a black undershirt worn underneath. Also typical to find a blue vest with trimmed gray fur around his collar, he can casually be seen with dark-blue gloves that reach to his biceps, cream-colored pants worn upon lower body held up with suspenders ands boots that reach his thighs. Above all else casual attire being a simple white tee with camo cargo pants and boots, he doesn't care much for attire.
HISTORY Born in Manhattan, New York, Saito had a few problems to deal with as a child. His father Gabriel being a White American and his mother Kimiko (from Tokyo, Japan) being Asian, he was often teased for his heritage on multiple occasions, even in Pre-school or Kindergarten. Growing up all the same with a loving family, they holding him very close and dear, he had no problems up until the day he turned five. Spiritual power reaching a level in which he was able to see the monstrosities that plagued the world as a whole, Saito brought his sightings home to his parents, scared out of his mind at the ghosts and creatures that had suddenly become known. It would be then that his parents would have told him of the hollows and ghosts— that his mother had been attacked during her pregnancy, meaning that he'd also eventually be able to see them. Of course being as young as he was he didn't quite understand what they meant, he still knew that he would have to deal with them for the rest of his life. So, going about his days as his spiritual awareness seemed to only increase the same as his power, it came all of sudden— July 17th of his seventh birthday. At this point in time his spiritual pressure having grown enough to be considered a threat, members of the C.I.A had been dispatched to keep an eye on him, merely to watch his growth and see what would happen. When something did happen however, they were of no help in the least. Parents having decided to take their child out to dinner for his very special day, it would be on their way back home that they were attacked. Large hollow striking them all down in mere seconds, Saito would be left alone, kneeling with wounds covering his form and parents bleeding out with no end. The agents that had been following him not even enough to hold the creature back, they died in seconds, one boy left with his parent's blood coating him. In this moment, his fullbring would activate in full, allowing him to literally crush the hollow within a single second, as well as demolish the street upon which he stood. He would pass out, afterwards. Awakening in a different room entirely than his own, Saito would notice a few things strange about the situation itself. One, his parents were in beds adjacent to his own, cheeks rosy though they were asleep all the same. Two, the walls of the room were white— pure as an angel's wings. Men walking through the doors seconds later with authority, they explained to him his situation, as well as who they were and why they'd saved him and his parents. The C.I.A had been going around for the past few years, monitoring the growth of other spiritually capable beings to use them to their advantage. The reason they'd saved his parents was because they wanted him on their side- to help them fight against the hollow and all the other spiritually male fixing beings. He was different from other fullbringers. His parents had both been spiritually aware, and the hollow that had attacked his mother had been of the stronger class. His spiritual power was set to increase with no set limit, and he was an anomaly. The only thing that was holding him back was his own cap— set to hold him back as to not hurt anyone around him. Left with a choice between having to fight every day to protect his parents with no guarantee that he keep them alive or leaving them and letting them live in peace, he agreed to the offer, C.I.A wiping his parent's memories of ever having a child named Saito, and replacing him with an orphan who became the new 'Saito'. Sent to the Japan branch to further his training an find out exactly what his fullbring was and how he could master it, he spent his early days with children his age and even younger, guiding them along on their missions and having fun. Spiritual power growing with no limit as he eventually reached the age of seventeen, he was sent to a different branch in China for a few months, returning to find most of his comrades and friends dead aside from one— Aikou. Hearing the story, then her plan with his own ears, he joined FOXHOUND along side her as it's co-founder, coming back to America to find comrades to help them achieve their goals. Still not quite understanding the true ability his fullbring holds within, he's mastered it as far as it can go currently, standing alongside her to see the creation of a new world. Shinigami, Hollow, and Quincy alike? Friends or enemies? Only time can tell.
